Raw hamburger from Ground Restaurant
John C.

Place was empty, so I should've know by that and the vibe that it was going to suck. Place feels sticky and gross. It needs to be cleaned up. Ordered a plain cheeseburger with bacon and BBQ sauce. It had fried onions on it that I specifically said I did not want. I removed them and took a bite. The meat tasted off, so I looked and my burger was not cooked (pink raw meat). Fries were super salty. My daughter's kids meal, the burger was a tad overcooked. Overall, don't waste your time here. There are better places to go for a burger.

Wow! Thank you for existing. I honestly think these burgers are delicious. If I can say that of a colder version of the burger, I know the fresh version would be even better. This place is located in a shopping center next to a sushi place and a subway. The atmosphere is super chill. They have everything in the kitchen on the open so you see them cook your meal. I had my order to go so I didn't experience the customer service but I know it was pretty funny and super welcoming when I came to pick up my food. Everything seem clean. I would definitely be back when I come to the area. They are also worth just coming to the area for a great burger. Come check them out!

Honesty is the best policy right? Well I found this on Yelp and it was rated high so since my wife and kids were bugging me to pick a place for my birthday dinner I chose here as it was fairly close for everyone to meet at and my family is kind of picky - usually meat or pizza...I'm more of an ethic flavor but hey it's not about me on my birthday right. Ok enough digression: Ambiance: Strip mall location but they had some outdoor seating that was in a nice shady area right in front of the parking area. Standard indoor basic set up - nothing to rave about. Service: Counter order and pick up as well but the counter staff was super friendly. Food: Average at best - I will say they cooked it perfectly medium rare but the quality of the meat and the amount / quality of blue cheese was not good. I ordered bacon on it as well but got no bacon. Same story for the other burgers. Fries were visibly in large plastic bags behind the register on a metal rack so originally I thought they were frozen but after dialogue with the owner they are hand cut from a fry cutter and definitely not frozen so I stand corrected. Price: For the price it lost its last star...can't rave about a place when your paying $13 avg. for a burger that for me and my family was not quite what we've had from other places (like bad daddy burger bar for comparison) but that's our opinion. Overall: Can't muster more than 3 stars - guys were nice but for the price not quite what we were expecting based on our experience. Keepmunching!!!!

Chicken Tenders and Sweet Potato Fries

We stopped in while waiting for service at a nearby car dealership. We split the five-piece chicken tenders for lunch and a side of sweet potato fries. The chicken was fantastic! Some of the best tenders I've ever had. Everything was prepared fresh and in clear view, which was great to see, too. The fries were excellent as well. We will have to make a trip back down to Franklin to enjoy this again. Highly recommended!

Grounds restaurant is bomb. I had the chili cheese baked spud and the apple walnut salad. Both were delicious! The staff were so welcoming, polite and friendly. I wish I had visited more during my short stay in Tennessee.

Pricing is good at $12 for burger and fries, but you get what you pay for. Average (old brown) ground meat, kinda dry burger and average fries, nothing special. Quantity of fries were good and burger toppings seemed fresh. Employees were friendly but I'll stick with 5 Guys or Shake Shack.

A great place for burgers. Listen to the advice, order the fried extra crispy. Plenary to eat. You won't leave there hungry.

Ask the Community - Ground Restaurant

Are you pet friendly outside eating?

Yes

Do you deliver? I called yesterday afternoon and the girl/woman that answered said you didn't deliver!

Yes we sure do. We use Door Dash and Uber Eats for delivery.

Are the fries cooked in peanut oil?

No they are not. We try very hard to accommodate all guests with allergies. For that reason we chose to use soybean oil.

There's something fun happening every day of the week with a variety of specials (and happy hour). The food is good and the beer is always flowing! But ultimately what keeps me coming back is the people. The service here is top tier. No other bar has made me feel as safe or as welcome as the servers here. This place is a rare gem specifically because of them. Tony's wants to you "meet your friends here," and that's exactly what I've done. If you're looking for an amazing, local bar, Tony's is the place to be.

The waitress did not write my order down. She kept it in her head, I guess. My burger came with mayo which overwhelmed the burger. All seating is high top tables. Literally, just a sports bar with the attraction of young waitresses showing their midriff. The other thing I noticed is several of the waitresses sat down at a couple of tables with friends eating there. There were definitely two tables that seemed to know all the waitresses, and those on duty waitresses constantly visited with their friends all through our dinner. Find a better burger place. Don't waste your time here.

It was by far the winner--super light, fluffy, and perfectly done. Honestly one of the best pretzels I've had. Definitely worth ordering when you go! Ordered a glass of wine and a pizza. Ate a few slices - food tasted fine - and got a box. I'm sitting there playing a game on my phone and suddenly the largest cockroach I've ever seen in my life comes walking across the bar where I'm sitting. I silently panic and jump from my seat. Randomly the manager happened to be right in front of me (she was in the bar pit) and saw me freak out and then she smooshed the roach. The people next to me were mortified, I was so disgusted I didn't know what to do but also, I didn't want a bunch of attention on me so I stayed quiet. The manager who smooshed the roach just walked away, didn't say a word to me. No one came and offered to clean the bar top where I was sitting, nothing... she said nothing. Eventually, I ask for my check and the same manager came and said "we took care of your pizza" and that was it. So I paid my bill and left The bartenders were mortified and one came up to me after and offered her apology. I was shocked by the lack of care and professionalism by the manager and I will never be back

We started off with the Mini Donuts with dipping sauces, and they were a huge hit! Unfortunately, I was off my game and forgot to take pictures of some of the appetizers before they disappeared. We also ordered the Spinach Dip with chips, and a definite must have, the Deviled Eggs with Candy Bacon. Wow... those were sooo good! For the entrees, I went with the Eggs Benedict with home fries, and it was perfection. Others at the table ordered the Chicken Fingers and Fries, great comfort food with amazing flavor. The fries are the thin-cut style, which makes them extra good. The granddaughters split a hamburger and absolutely loved it. The service is always great here, but this visit had a special touch. The granddaughters wanted a carrot to feed to their stuffed bunny, and the waitress actually brought one out for them! Little things like that make a big impression. Overall, a great brunch, great service, and a great experience. We'll definitely be back!

Loud from the crowd, but still fine for conversation, and the tables/booths were spread enough to provide decent privacy. Made a note that the bar looked very attractive and appealing. Limited draft selection, though the by the glass wine was about the best list I've ever seen in a restaurant, and quite reasonable on pricing. Food comes out fast. Wait people are efficient and helpful. Started with a split salad. We ordered the Little Gem but actually received the Caesar. Not a big deal, though it was badly over dressed, so whatever salad we order (or whatever we're served) in the future, it'll be dressing on the side. After having a tough time deciding what to order on our first visit, I went with the tuna. The tuna slices were nicely rare though the dish was very bland. A pop of pickled ginger on the side, but some wasabi, or even a hit of salt, would have helped a lot, and the dipping sauce was off and bland, could have really used some more soy sauce. Wife got the crab cakes. The cakes were really nice jumbo lumps, very good quality, and the shoestring fries delightful (though I might order them well done next time for a bit of extra crunch). We'll be back and will enjoy exploring the menu further. There's clearly 5 star potential here, we just need to learn the best dishes to order.

It was delicious and very indulgent. The brioche was soft and custardy, soaked in crème anglaise and elevated by a torched sugar top that gave it a slight crunch. Fresh strawberries cut through the sweetness nicely. I swapped the side of bacon or sausage for scrambled eggs. They were a little dry but still tasty.
