His knowledge of Cape Cod and Martha's Vineyard was invaluable and added so much to our experience. I especially want to highlight the exceptional care he showed to a member of our group who required wheelchair assistance. Stan was attentive to her needs and was there at her beck and call, always willing to assist with patience, kindness, and respect. Most importantly, Stan is an excellent and safe driver, which is extremely important when traveling long distances with a group. We felt comfortable and secure throughout our journey. Getting on or off the bus was never an issue because Stan was right there to assist in disembarking. Stan continued to show his concern for one of our attendees who used a wheelchair to get around. he was always there to help her on and off the bus, what a gentleman! They save me the hassle of having to take the mta and stop at every train station on the n to then transfer on the 7 just to get to flushing. It takes me 1.5 hours with mta but with these buses it only takes me around 40 mins give or take depending on the traffic. Not to mention I'm sitting in a comfy seat and don't have to deal with external issues. As of July 2021, I pay $5 one way. Using a rideshare app or calling car service would have costed me well over $40. The bus caters to the Chinese immigrant community that usually travels back and forth from the 3 different chinatowns (Brooklyn 8th ave, Manhattan chinatown, flushing queens) either for work, run errands or meet up with family. It gives the people mobility with comfort and it's community centered. If you are not Chinese it's still ok. Once you get to know the system that's in place you'll never want to take public transportation again.

I heard about the PRIME service which is basically an upgraded bus. The bus has single seats on the right and double seats on the left. The service is advertised to have tray tables. The tray table in my single seat does not work. I want to rate this service a 3 because of the tray table not working. The seat pitch (space between seats) is larger/longer than standard buses - which is true and is nice since I'm over six feet tall. One thing that's not advertised but I did notice was shades for the window which is nice. My window had them. Some did not. As others mentioned, the wifi can be spotty. In the age of cell phones and mobile hotspots, just be prepared to use yours in case the bus wifi goes out. The complimentary water was nice - but it was not cold/chilled. Just ambient temparature water. The timeliness of arrival always depends on traffic - so most times the arrival time is after the scheduled time (especially since Best Bus advertises 4 hour trip times from DC to NYC) - I have not seen arrival times within 4 hours - it's always later (sometimes up to an hour later). It's due to traffic though, not driver skills or service. Overall I do like Best Bus PRIME. Would I take it again - probably - if the schedule works. It only runs once a day - all the other services are regular Best Bus service.

What I mean by that is that they have a sense of entitlement where they think they can take up 2 seats and not let their fellow passengers sit down next to them. Definitely better than the subway though. I often times will take the BM4 or BM1 even though it's not that convenient and drops me off quite a distance from my apartment. The trade-off is my fellow passengers are much more considerate, and overall it's a much more pleasant ride.
