Made my last stop at a Gross this morning! Post Falls, cases nearly empty except for bars and a couple of types of cake donuts. Plus the price and selection boards had been wiped clean. When I bought a maple bar I found the reason. The bar was downsized and the price was $1.90! Three times what they get at local markets! For the price of three small maple bars, from Gross, I could get an 8-pack of pastries at Costco, or a 10-pack of donuts at Wally world. Plus, I'll swear the bar I got was a day old! It was dry! And the price, again, was unreal. I left the dime change as a tip. Get a clue, Gross! (fitting name) Not that it matters to me, I ain't coming back! I don't mind supporting local small businesses, but I refuse to be ripped off, even if it is just a buck or so! read more

The donuts here are great, but they reel you in, they tell you they're open 24 hours with TWO locations, but they run out of donuts (the really good ones) usually before 10:00 am and don't replace the ones they run out of until the next day?????? So tell me how you can be "open 24 hours" but run out of donuts? I am tired of wasting my time going into both locations just to find they are out...... 99% of the time. Good bye GROSS DONUTS. This was a fun place. You can tell they are just getting started, and I wish them the best. We had a plethora of wonderful treats, and I will list them in levels of excitement. High level - Freaking fruit burrito!!! Medium level - Apple fritter High level - Peanut butter turnover We honestly ordered $30 worth of donuts and ate every one. We were just...in the mood. Haha! There were six of us as well. That makes it a little better...right? Overall, this is a great little place that has some possibility. I will look forward to watching them over the years. read more

We just moved to Post Falls & needed to find another donut spot, and it didn't take long! The donuts here are really delicious! Absolutely yummy! I loved the inside, it was fresh and clean! They had a whole coffee bar too which was really nice to be able to order a latte with my blueberry donut! Looking forward to coming to the ice cream inning station next time when it's the afternoon and it's time for a malt! Mmmm! read more

It won't let me write 2 separate reviews. So I'm combing them..We've had both the ice cream and donuts so I wanted to review both. 3 stars for the ice cream... Came here on a Friday afternoon for some ice cream. There was a bit of a crowd and only 1 lady behind both counters (ice cream and donuts have separate counters). Service took a bit, but she was moving quickly. The ice cream was just ok, nothing to "write home about". What I would, expect from any standard ice cream store. 4 single scoops was $9. Again the same as most ice cream stores. I guess if I was in the area and craving ice cream I might stop back in. But it's not my favorite and I'm not "dying" to go back. 4.5 stars for the donuts... Picked up some donuts on a Saturday morning. Service was better, more people were working and able to get costumer served faster. They were very fresh, had nice flavors and quite a good selection. Light and airy maple bars, and the cinnamon rolls were soft and had just the right amount of cinnamon. $9 a dozen, but we added the cinnamon rolls so it was $11 for the dozen. Looking forward to going back and trying more. read more

This place is now called gross donuts, which is why we stopped in today. I was intrigued to see why it was called this. I got a cake donut and it was and good, but small. My boyfriend got a banana fritter and took a bite and it was still DOUGHY and undercooked. I'm so upset that they served something like that. Fritters are amazing and should stay that way... On top of that the cashier looked upset that she had to work there. She didn't like our question about the restaurant name and didn't care what we ordered. I might come back in future.. read more

I came in tonight at 8:30 with my neighbor and we were hoping to buy donuts with for our family for the morning. There was a very limited selection but we could see lots of donuts in the back already made. We we asked to purchase a few, the young girl working the front who had already been rude and short with us, told us we were not going to be allowed to purchase anything from the back because those were for guests in the morning only. If you're open 24hrs a day and you have customers there ready to buy your product that is clearly ready, why not allow them to buy it? This is the 3rd time out of 5 visits in the past month that I've had an issue with my purchase. I will now be taking my business to Davis Donuts. read more

I just went in to grab some donuts for my son and I. They had no donuts to speak of. I had my choice of an apple fritter or one of the other three donuts left. The girl explained they only bake at night....I left without a purchase. As I sit and write this review in the parking lot two people walked in and promptly walked out without any donuts. When I go to a donut shop I would expect to find it stocked with a good selection of donuts. Not this place. I will not be back. read more

Great, friendly, and genuinely apologetic staff, though a bleak selection, as so many others have stated. Half the donuts advertised on the menu are generally not available on any given weekend day. The ones that are available are usually stale and bland. It's sad too, considering how good their donuts used to be! read more

The BEST donuts in the area!! Their workers are always friendly, donuts are always fresh! Even their old fashion plain donuts rock!! Crunchy on the outside, but soft and fluffy inside! The buttermilk bars are to die for! So light and tasty, never greasy. Fortunately they are fairly close to me, but I would drive a long way to get a donut this good!! read more

Stopped by here at 1am and got the most delicous fresh out of the oven apple fritter ive ever had. Was working nearby outside and could smell them cooking. Had to stop, was more than worth it. I just went in and for once they actually had a selection of donuts. I went to order my usual chocolate bar with custard filling and the girl that was working the counter refused to fill it for me. When I asked her why she told me they do not allow her to fill the rectangular donuts with custard when the round ones are available. I told her that I have always gotten long bars with custard filling and that they were the first ones to offer it to me severed that way the first time I ever went in there. I offered to even pay additional money if I needed to to have the custard-filled bar . She refused to sell it to me stating that those are for customers that just want the bars not custard inside. I again said to her that you guys are the first ones that ever offered me a bar with custard inside I simply want the same donut that I have purchased before from this place. She again refused and said I'm sorry it's the rules I cannot fill a bar when they are round donuts available . I explained again that I would pay the additional cost or whatever it took to get the donuts that I wanted if she would just please fill it. She refused. I explained to her that I've been in sales for over 28 years and asked her what do you think this is going to do to me, as a customer and she said she couldn't do anything about it. That if I wanted to leave my phone number and name that she would have the owner call me sometime tonight when he finally got in there! I have enjoyed they're Donuts since they opened but as of today I will no longer patronize this business. It is absolutely ridiculous when I offered to pay for the donut that I've been getting since they opened up. Now they're refusing to sell it to me when the selection was sitting right there in the case. Their donuts are good but their customer service sucks. In addition to that rarely do they have a full case of donuts most of the time they just have apple fritters and a few leftovers. It is not worth it to me to go through that kind of hassle just to get a freakin donut read more

My family came here for the ice cream in July. I wanted a brownie sundae that was advertised on the menu board behind the ice cream counter. The girl who was training had no clue what I was talking about so she asked the manager/owner. He said he had hoped to make brownies but never got around to it, so I could choose any chocolate doughnut in the case to add to my sundae. I don't care for chocolate doughnuts so he let me choose any doughnut. Doughnut sundae it was! And... it was amazing the doughnuts were good, the ice cream was good; all four flavors my family picked were good, and the service was AMAZING! I don't know if doughnut sundaes are a thing there now but they need to be! Thank you for the winning customer service! read more

Awesome doughnut shop. We go every sunday for coffee specials and doughnuts. The employees are very polite and if you wanted you could be in and out in minutes with fresh doughnuts and coffee. Would recommend to anyone! read more
