    Smashburger

One of the worst burgers I've received from any place ever!! I usually love sonic but lately the food I've received has been less than edible. I fell in love with their smash burgers and have made it an almost weekly stop after work but today I was in shock. The patty was almost shredded and the idek what is going on with the cheese? Not to mention it was cold!! I always bring it home to Coeur d Alene and never had problems with the temperature usually it is still very warm! Called the manager and said he would talk to his team but the tone in his voice was extremely unapologetic and seemed like he mainly wanted to get me off the phone. Very disappointed my favorite food spot seems to just get worse with every visit. My last sandwich tasted like someone dumped the entire salt shaker on it but i just figured maybe they were training new cooks but clearly that is not the case. Ugh

SO disappointed! It's beyond upsetting to have the entire order wrong. I got a recess and they gave me cookie dough mixed with recess. No sauces with our food. The smallest pieces of chicken I've ever seen. Plus waiting in line for EVER.

Plain burger with no bun.... Kinda got it backwards

Fantastic strawberry shakes. Excellent service. Their fries suck. But I wasn't there for the fries.

The Order: General (burger) + Loaded Brisket Fries…read more First off... Online ordering... aka ScrollFest 2026... worked great, even if it felt like filling out a mortgage application. A heroic amount of options. I'm sure some folks love that level of control, but by the end I half-expected a personality test. On a phone? Absolutely unhinged. Desktop was survivable... barely. Pickup: Online said 30 minutes (6:23pm). Reality said "Nah, we're done already" at 6:09pm. Credit where it's due... glad I went down early so the food didn't turn into sad leftovers before I even met it. Presentation: Burger and fries looked good. No shame there. Instagram wouldn't have laughed at me. The General (Burger): Unfortunately... dry. Not send-it-back dry, but definitely "thank God for pickles" dry. The pickles did some real heavy lifting, adding the only noticeable zip. BBQ sauce and ranch were apparently present in spirit only... I saw a drip, but my taste buds never got the memo. Result: A decent burger. Not bad. Not memorable. Certainly not something I'd text a friend about like "BRO YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS." Loaded Brisket Fries: Flavor? Good. Sauce? Tasty. Execution? Eh. For $12, the portion felt a little "is this the appetizer?" The fries could've been warmer and better mixed... instead it was more like scavenger hunting for bites that had everything together. The deep-fried cheese curds were legit but borderline fork-vs-curd death match. That plastic fork never stood a chance. Outsides were pretty crusty... almost too committed to the crunch. Overall Verdict: Good food. Nothing offensive. Nothing that screams "come back often." If I'm nearby and hungry... sure. If I'm choosing a place intentionally... probably not. Final Score: 3.5 stars... rounding up to 4 because I believe in grace. Solid effort. Some wins. Some misses. No fireworks. Would eat again... but only if someone else picked the place and I didn't have to scroll for 10 minutes first Ambiance: N/A. Consumed at home where the lighting was good and the floor was not sticky.

Parking can be a little bit of a challenge, but if your car isn't lowered like mine, there is a little gravel area that has a few nasty pocket holes. But don't let that deter you because amazing goodness waits within. We came in, have a seat, and waited for our waitress. Now she was the only one working the floor, so some Grace had to be extended as she was really slammed. But you finally got around to us and got our drink orders post taste. All three of us sorted the same thing, which was a jalapeno pickled egg, and a steak sandwich with fries. Let's talk about that. Pickled egg for a second. That was one of the most amazing things I have ever had in my life. The jalapeno wasn't so strong that it burned your mouth, but it left you with the flavor that you really wanted and it paired so well with the hard-boiled egg. Now that steak sandwich. That thing was awesome. The steak was tender and juicy and whatever the only they put on that roll was absolutely complimentary. One of the better steak sandwiches I've had in a long long time. The bottom line? I would definitely be coming back here next time I am in the Post Falls area. If you live anywhere near this place you should really go check it out as it is a national treasure!

I ordered a supreme cheesesteak, and for whatever reason, they had free root beer float that day. Which is actually the reason I stayed to order food. There were three or four other parties also waiting for food so I thought I might have to wait a few minutes. After about 15 minutes, I went over to where they put the food for customers to pick up. Only need to find out that made my sandwich and then it sat on the counter for about 5 minutes and nobody had called me. They need a better system to ensure customers get the food immediately when it's ready still. Also, the root beer float was nowhere to be seen and a girl clearly overwhelmed with the amount of work she had to do, apologized and said she''d get it out as soon as she can. All the workers were working constantly and quickly, but there just weren't workers enough to get everything done in a timely fashion. The guy who took my order was also helping the cooks and making a tray full of root beer floats, and I had to ask him for one of them off of the tray so that I could take my sandwich and leave. He also humbly apologized. I can't say that any of them are rude. They were just all very overworked and I hope the management hires more people to help them out.. In spite of that service, when I got the sandwich home, it was delicious. The bread was light and soft, like a tasty footling cloud wrapped around the cheesy meat. Which was also delicious, though I did not taste much in the way of peppers or onions. So believe it or not, in spite of the poor service, which is not the worker's fault but rather management's for not staffing their store very well, I actually will be back. Because it was one of the best sandwiches I've had in a very long time and ithe best cheese steak I've ever had, so good job guys making great food, in spite of running yourselves ragged to do so. I will say, though they could also do a better job with the root beer float. Yes it was free but if that was a promotion to show how it taste, it was in a poor promotion. the cup was about half full. The ice cream was mostly melted because the guy making the floats apparently had to make about 15 or 20 at the same time all on one tray to pass them out.. I ended up topping off the cup with more root beer at the fountain.

Parking lot was full, but, fortunately got a spot on the street right in front of the building on Spokane St. We're both disabled so not an option to walk very far. Food and service were both great! Savannah was very patient & attentive! Friend had the pulled pork tacos. She gave me a taste of the pork with some of the bbq sauce...excellent! I had the Flamin PBJ burger. Really good with just a bit of a kick. Really didn't taste the peanut butter (except when it got in my hand), probably because of the jalapeno strawberry jam. But it was a perfect ratio of burger to bun to sauce. Definitely recommend both. We had the potato dippers with both and we also each had a cup of their homemade chili, which was very very good. The potato dippers are not your typical fries. Not sure what kind of machine (?) cuts them up, but, they are delicious and outstandingly tasty when you use the chili as a dip! We were also impressed with the selection of mocktails. The No-jito was really refreshing with the mint & lime and not sweet at all. Loved it! Friend had the Donkey and really liked it too. We look forward to returning with a bunch of our friends.

It is a historical site, I didn't read too much in depth about what it was, but if it's for hot chicken sandwiches, then I can see why. Walking into the place was like walking into someone's home. Literally. It was super warm and inviting, had kind of a rustic feel, and just Good vibes all the way around. I got seated at a table, and started looking over the menu. There was only one waitress there, and she was running around like a crazy woman trying to take care of tables. Tables. She did a great job though so my hats off to her for making sure that every table felt like they were taken care of. I ordered the hot chicken sandwich with fries, and a diet Coke. Because hey, I have to watch out for my girlish figure. The sandwich came out, as well as my drink right on time. And so I Dove right in. For starters, these were some of the best french fries I have ever had. I'm pretty sure they're using Lowry's seasoned salt on them, but I can't be sure. Whatever it was. They were super tasty and super crispy without having to be asked for them. Crispy The chicken sandwich itself was great, had a great buffalo sauce on it and had just the right amount of coleslaw and pickles. Every bite was a wonderful experience. I love finding cool new places that I can share with the world, and this is definitely one of them. If I am ever in the Post Falls area again, this will be one of my stops to get a bite to eat. Bottom line? If you are ever traveling through Idaho and find yourself in Post Falls, I would highly recommend you go to this place. Service was great, the chicken sandwich was awesome, and I would love to try some of the other things on the menu.
