She has always given our two doggies Benji & Ruby, the best service and treatment. The doggies are happy to see her as we are, and they look like AKC show dogs when she is finished with them. Sandra always gives us a report when we go to pick then ups, such as if she noticed something that may need Vet attention as well as how our two doggies were during the grooming process. Sandra provides detailed attention to our two companions. We have previously tried other groomers before we found Sandra. As we said she is a caring gentle detailed groomer. We are very pleased with her service.

Several people I know who take meticulous care of their dogs have had bad experiences with My Loyal…read morePup. On more than one occasion, the shop was closed on the day of their scheduled appointment, with only excuses afterward. Even worse, they have been known to shave dogs without the owner's approval, which is completely unacceptable. They also charge $100 or more and insist on cash only, which feels unprofessional and questionable. I've had multiple warnings from other dog owners not to go there -- and now I understand why. The name "My Loyal Pup" is misleading. If you love your dog, stay away from this place

I have two kind of insane cats (lol), who are impossible to get to settle down to get their nails clipped. One of my cats usually needs two people to hold him, as he gets so squirmy. The other, as my vet and his techs call him, is a "beast!" She was prepared, and we've wrapped one cat in a towel "purrito" as she clips him, and we keep the other one separated, which keeps him calm. Her visits are usually quick and though my cats can put up a bit of a fight, I'm there with her to keep them settled...then they get treats and all is well in the world! Happily referred to several people!

I used to really hate leaving my dog at grooming salons for 4+ hours. I always pictured my sweet…read morelittle guy trapped inside an unsanitized crate, waiting for his turn, stressed out by other barky/moaning dogs in distress. I met Allie 2 years ago when she used to work at a brick and mortar salon in UES and when she started her at-home-grooming business, I decided to give it a try. My dog had always gotten groomed at Petco (mainly) and other small shops so the idea of a groomer doing it in my home was new, and I was tbh a little skeptical as I am very particular when it comes to tidiness/cleanliness in my apt. I hate dust bunnies with a passion and the thought of my mini schnauzer's little fur chunks flying around in the air was not very appealing. However, plz believe me when I say Allie is amazing! Not only is she an extremely talented groomer (check out her instagram page), she is very respectful, responsive and best of all, she leaves my place fur-free. She brings all the tools with her and cleans up as she goes. She is soooo gentle with my dog. My dog loves her. I also enjoy witnessing the entire grooming process! I highly recommend Allie! Her price isn't too far from what you'd pay at a salon. And the peace of mind knowing my dog feels safe at home is PRICELESS.

It's a comfort to have him and his walkers always available to help.

After I picked her up she spent two days just eating and eating my heart broke for her I had rescued her three years earlier and I promised her I would never let anyone hurt her again and I feel like I broke that promise to her I will never forgive myself for that. Somewhere under a year old, he was also bursting with energy in our one bedroom Brooklyn apartment. Five years later, we have a cuddly dog who is perfect on our crowded streets with dogs and people. What Claire provided us to get there was a complete set of services based in her expertise as an animal behaviorist. She came into our home - something that requires a lot of bravery with an aggressive dog - to show us how to help build trust and loyalty and teach him (and us) essential commands. She told us in detail what his body movements meant and how to read some of his anxiety. We went to the park together to practice "come" and his self-control so that he could go off leash in the park, which he has been doing every morning in the years since. Whenever we freak out about something, Claire is responsive to our sometimes obsessive questions with effective and calming answers. She is smart, kind, and judgment free, and we have seen amazing results with our dog with her support.
