We opted to give A+ a shot and were pleasantly surprised by the services and work Nelson did. Nelson is open 7 days a week and will accommodate most anyone's schedules. He is well educated in pet health and grooming and is by appointment only....takes in one to two dogs at a time, so that the dogs are not stressed or having issues with one another. Basically, a personal spa treatment for your pet. Ha. My mother recently brought her Soft Coated Wheaten to Nelson after not being happy with her groomer's results (for years). After one session with A+, Zoe (the Wheaten) is going to be a regular at the spa. Long story short...Go to A+ for top notch pet grooming!!

When I spoke with them there they were so nice, they sit down with your dog to give them a comfort level and it worked! They both had some matting and instead of just shaving them they took the time to untangle what they could (without stressing them) and my babies both look so good! They were calm and they said they were good being groomed! My husband and I are both so happy how they look! My little girl had a pretty bow and my little boy had on a tie on which was adorable. They show a lot of warmth & care.

His fur had gotten matted in a few areas but Jess took good care of him. She took the time to ask us how we wanted his hair cut after I told her about my experience at a pet store groomer. They shaved Rocket down too short and I didn't like how he looked. Jess took out her clippers and shaved a small section on Rocket to show us three different lengths. It's much easier to see it this way compared to a board of fake fur squares at the pet store. Jess was done with Rocket in an hour and twenty minutes so he didn't need to be trapped in a cage before or after while waiting his turn. Only one dog family at a time here means your dog gets the attention he or she needs! I will definitely bring Rocket back to Jess and recommend anyone who needs a groomer to take your fur baby here!

I wish there was option of giving negative stars We booked appointment 1 month ago and on the same day she charged my card. On 22nd we went there.. dropped our exclusive adorable Maltese pup, as she won't allow us come inside we gave her our pup with it's bag on door itself. As mentioned on her website also she confirmed it would take 1.5hr approx but to our surprise she called back in 50 minutes saying dog is ready to be picked. On our arrival she came out and handed over pup in its carry bag saying all set. We took pup out in the car and were shocked as she has not given him bath, brushed teeth or clean ears.. His hairs were still coming off in my hands. Eyes were dirty and face had tear stains all over, as is, and face hairs not trimmed. The body hair cut were uneven. Some places the scalp is visible (see pics) . Now my pup looks are weird and we feel sorry to pick this groomer. It would take atleast 3-4 months to get back his hairs and looks. To be honest either she is unskilled or doesn't know how to handle the job and groom Maltese. On our morning walks people who had been praising him until we visited this place and now they are asking what happened to his silky white fur.. I would never ever take my boy there... Neither suggest anyone to do so even if the services are free.

My Golden Retriever "Boomer" used to love going to see her. He would feel right at home and go right in and get on the table with wagging tail. She took my dog within 1 hour of returning my call. Mia was very professional, along with her staff. She was very familiar with Pomeranians and how they should be groomed. She discussed how I wanted him cut so we were both on the same page. There were hundreds of pictures on the wall of all kinds of dogs that were groomed. I mentioned my Pomeranian is 15 years old and didn't want him stressed. Mia took great care with my boy and from the start to finish he was done in 2 hours. My dog Max was so happy! Paws About LLC did a wonderful job grooming him and my dog wasn't stressed. This groomer is located across the street from the Old King George Inn and in the same strip mall with The Clipper Club Hair Salon and Vested Interest Consignment Shop. You will need to pull around the back of the building. They are on the lower level. I saw several dogs leaving and each one was professionally groomed and the dogs left happy.
