I have been looking for a reliable dog groomer since I returned to Forney. My experiences from some well known pet groomers in the area were less than Stella; however, my experience with the Pack Leader Mobile Grooming service was by far STELLA. I paid $32 dollars more than what I have ever paid for my fur baby, but what I desired for my fur baby is what I got, a full grooming that did not leave him looking a hot mess. Instead, John took time to calm my fur baby down by walking him and working with him to de-matt and care for his fur providing him with an even and smooth cut. I also appreciate John's patience by finding a time and day suitable for my schedule. This grooming service is Monday-Friday with no weekends. He also serves the Forney, TX area. John gave me some helpful tips to help me keep my fur baby's fur, which includes his tail, manageable. I highly recommend this dog grooming service if you are looking for top quality care for you fur baby. I am excited about my next appointment. I will work hard to ensure it is cheaper than this one by following up on John's grooming advice.

I'm a bit embarrassed that Neville is so difficult with strangers, so I was nervous bringing him to anyone and would avoid it until it was absolutely necessary. Then I found The Pack Leader. He takes the time to sit with Neville before starting anything. Neville never gets 100% comfortable during the sessions, but with each visit, he's getting better. Our first session took almost 3 hours. Today took less than 2! And he always looks great when I pick him up! I now have recurring appointments set up because we are so happy with The Pack Leader!

I was really hoping this spa would be a place I could rely on for my fur baby. Overall, my experience was a three. The custtomer service was excellent. The hair cut for my fur baby was really awful. He had plugs of hair missing in so many areas. I know he is an active boy, and does not sit still, but I would expect a professional spa to know how to handle such a curious and active boy. I am determined to give them another chance unless I find another spot close by.

I booked an appointment to take my first dog in, explained what I wanted and they said "no problem, we'll ask you again upon drop off ". When taking him to his appointment I reiterated what I wanted. My husband had to pick him up, it didn't occur to me to make sure he knew to double check the cut was right. When they got home, I realized they only took 1/2 inch off instead of taking him down to a 1/2 inch, so his hair was way too long. I called about a week later (confirmed it was too long to, was trying to just live with it). I mentioned it when making an appointment for another dog hoping that giving them more business but letting them know the mix up would encourage them to fix it. He's itty bitty so an extra inch+ makes a huge difference, and he's missing teeth so he's a messy eater. I also mentioned it when taking dog #2 in... nothing. No offer to fix it, no discount, out $150 before the tip on two yorkies. Pretty disappointed, had they offered to correct the link, we'd keep going, because both boys came back happy, I just won't pay 20% over what we had been at the vet and gamble having to do it so soon again.

She greeted me by informing me that my dog's appointment was not until 10:30 a.m., plus there were four other dogs ahead of him. The time was 9:45 a.m. I smiled and said, "I am aware of his appointment time, but I need to check him in before 10:30 or I will not be able to honor the appointment." She got up to check him in, because he had to have his vacinnations verified. I received the call to pick him up around 2:00 p.m. His cut was horrific, and I did not noticed he smelled until we got him into the car. His coat was uneven. It appeared he was cut without a bath. It didn't even appear that the hair from his cut was combed out. I will never bring him back here again. I remember when this place had standards. I brought my baby here for the first time one and a half years ago and the person who cut him was new. The first cut was free because she was in training. I thought she did a superb job with him, but after she took pictures to submit to her trainer, she gave me a call to bring him back in at no charge to do a redo. Unfortunately, I moved from the area shortly after and that groomer is no longer there. I was told when I booked that Brandy was experienced and had a skill for cutting Golden Doodles. This cut will be her last on him. He was cut unevenly, stinked, and looked at hot mess. I paid over $89 for this mess, plus I tipped her. Save your money.

All of my dogs have either been Chow, several Great Py and Great Py/Anatolian Shepard mix. Even a little 9 pound Minpin, who was always a Diva who a just lost a month ago at age 20. But never was she rude to Mindy. My baby would do anything for Mindy. All my dogs always look forward to their baths and cuts, and never hesitated to jump into her trailer. I dropped him off about 10 AM the first day and I picked them up before they close at five.. he had a wonderful time. He was in great spirits. The ladies there are so sweet and kind and they really care about animals.. I dropped him off the following morning at 8 AM and he stayed all day till almost 5. He was happy to be there. He had a lot of fun. He had no stress.. I highly recommend you visiting their grooming, salon and their day care facilities.. they are sweet, caring women, and they really love the animals. Pawtham truly changed my dogs life furrever…read more Our dog Charlie was not friendly to people who weren't my husband, myself, or my daughter. He was a rescue dog we got years ago that we assumed had no possibility of changing as we had tried multiple times to break this behavior. He was just scared of other people, but because he's so adorable people thought it was okay to pet him. Charlie had a habit of snapping at people when they did this, even when we warned the people not to do it. Fast forward to Pawtham, when we moved to the area my husband and Charlie moved first while I stayed behind for several months to wrap up things at work. So he needed a daycare to take Charlie to so that he wasn't home by himself too much. He found Pawtham online and called the facility to explain Charlie's behavior problems. They offered to try and take care of him even with his unique personality. Over time Charlie actually warmed up to the staff at the facility which made us so happy and trusting to know that they took the time and care he needed. We have not taken Charlie back to Pawtham because of COVID. My husband has been working mostly from home, but Charlie is now forever changed. When we take him to meet new people now we still have to give them warnings that he might snap at them, but somehow his time at Pawtham has allowed him to realize that people are "good" again. Now instead of there being no chance of him warming up to humans, it takes him a day or sometimes just hours and he's okay with being touched by them, which brings our heart so much joy!!!! If you love your dog and want them to have someone you trust care for them, use Pawtham! You won't be disappointed!!!
