They did a UA, and got Antibiotics and started him on a diet to help dissolve the stone, and prevent future ones. He also had glucose in his urine, so checked his glucose level and it was 126. Not diabetic yet, but we will have a follow up visit on Dec 8th. Dr Ellsworth and Asia were amazing. Highly recommend and very reasonable. The bill was $176, for all that, including the meds, and food. I was elated, as we had been going to Hillside Vet for years. But the bill there was going to be outrageous, and if he needed an xray the price was $600!!! No ma'am! If we need one at East Dallas, it is $250!

Unfortunately, my recent interaction with the owner was one of the worst and shocking customer service experiences I've ever had. One of my dogs is a high-anxiety rescue who requires medication for grooming, and couldn't be groomed that day due to construction noise going on at the facility. When I asked to briefly speak with the owner about the situation, he interrupted me before I could explain and said, "That noise is not our problem. I don't care." When I questioned that response, he repeated, "I don't care. Just leave." I was honestly stunned and simply picked up my dogs and left. A few minutes later he called me. Instead of speaking to me in a professional way, he immediately justified his behavior by saying he was stressed because of the construction. When I told him I wasn't returning he called me a "two-faced b****" and told me to "f*** off" before hanging up on me. The front desk staff were kind and professional, and Amber has always been wonderful with my dogs. But the way I was spoken to by the owner was shocking and completely unacceptable. Pet owners trust businesses like this with animals that are essentially members of their family. Being told "I don't care" twice by the person running the business, followed by that kind of treatment, destroyed any confidence I had in returning. Because of this experience, I will not be bringing my dogs back.

My 5 month old kitten broke his leg and I was so scared about what to do. I was able to make an…read moreappointment the following day and their ortho was available to get a good look at his X-rays. They determined it was a clean enough break to cast him and let it heal on its own. My kitten was so crafty he escaped his cast several times but the staff was kind enough to let me bring him back in to rewrap it. After a week of that, they xray again and determined it was healed enough to let him go without it but to keep him calm in a room without stuff to climb and jump on. Walter is lucky he's a kitten and healed quickly! The staff was so friendly and welcoming and answered every question I had about my kitten as well as the costs along the way. Everything was laid out before I signed for treatment. Overall great experience. Thank you!

We had an…read moreappointment about a month ago to go over my questions and concerns since my dog has a heart condition and I wanted to make sure anesthesia would be safe for her. At this visit Dr Tunnell did a thorough exam and walked me through what to expect. I dropped her off at about 7:30 this morning and was reassured once again that she was in good hands and would be fine. They said they would message me updates, which they did, but I didn't expect my dogs procedure to be done so late in the day so I was expecting updates earlier in the morning. When it came time for her procedure Dr Tunnell herself called me to let me know when it was starting, a second time to confirm it was okay to extract a tooth, and a third time to let me know she was awake and ready to be picked up. In the last phone call she gave me directions for caring for my pup. I feel very confident my dog received quality care and treated like one of their own. I was very pleasantly surprised by the cost when I picked her up, it was much much lower that the high end of their estimate, and super reasonable compared to competitors. I will update once my dog is healed but I would absolutely trust Dr Tunnell and the staff at CityVet white rock again.

I believe that she went through a tough time before I adopted her. I saw the great yelp reviews and I decided to call and she answered right away and agreed to meet my dog and I was that afternoon for a walk through. I wound up leaving my dog over the weekend and Julie was very sweet and you can tell she is an animal lover. I felt very comfortable leaving my dog with her. She has excellent communication skills too. My dog came home and was happy to see me but she was a happy happy dog so I that's a great thing. I recommend trying this place if you want someone that lets your dog run freely and play with other dogs as well. It was my dogs first time and I will be taking her back next time I travel.
