Do not bring your dogs here. Many of these good reviews are old and they have since changed owners…read moreto a woman named Renata. I brought my dogs here and informed them that one of them was coming off of being in heat. She said she understood. She leaves the dogs unsupervised with other dogs in a play pen a the front. My dog was impregnated, which was terrible given she was not even a year old yet. She had never been left alone or even played with boy dogs before this. My vet also gave me a good timeline after the ultrasound, estimating up to the very week she was impregnated, which was the week she went in for grooming. We had to do an emergency c-section and it cost almost 3,000 dollars. When I informed Renata she at first made jokes saying she'd help me take care of the puppies. When I informed her that I wanted her to pay for at least half of the emergency surgery she then suddenly had doubts it happened at her shop. She said she would provide me with video footage proving the dogs were supervised, which she never produced. She said she would show me proof she had no unspayed males that day, which she also never produced. When I finally threatened legal action she asked me to meet her at her shop, she gave me 500 dollars in cash and offered free grooming, but claimed she was doing all of that out of the goodness of her heart but not because she was at fault. Of course I never brought my dogs back to her again. I took the money and did not sue only because she cried about how her husband was sick and that she barely had her rent money. I believe in karma so I let it go. But other people should know what happened. She did not even do a good job grooming my dogs.

I took my dog here to simply get his nails cut, and he came out with bruises. The guy initially…read moredenied it happened there, then he said my dog must have bumped his head(and face and neck) while he was restrained on the table. He said it was common when dogs move around too much. I guess it's weird that my dog doesn't like getting his nails cut, such an uncommon behavior. It's unacceptable, no apology or nothing. I messaged a friend who has his own grooming business, and his said that the bruises should never have happened, and it's not common for dogs to get them while getting their nails cut. My dog was in there for maybe 5 min, and came out looking beat up and scared. I'm going to post some photos I took a few minutes after we left the groomers, and a couple I took after I gave him a bath.

From the moment you walk in, you can tell how incredibly clean and well-organized the space is. Every single pet there is calm, happy, and clearly well cared for, which says everything about the environment and the people who work there. The staff is beyond friendly, always smiling, patient, and with the best possible attitude. You can feel that they genuinely love what they do. I bring my dog Maximus here for baths and grooming, and Renata was absolutely wonderful. She is highly skilled, confident, and calm, which is essential because my dog is NOT easy at all. She handled him beautifully and with so much care and professionalism. I live in New Jersey, and I still drive all the way to Astoria because this is the only place I truly trust with my dog. That alone says everything. The owner, Vivi, is a real animal lover in every sense of the word. She even let me stay the entire time and watch Maximus being groomed, which gave me so much peace of mind and showed incredible transparency and confidence in her team. This place is an absolute must-go if you care about your pet and want the best. Clean, loving, professional, and trustworthy, it doesn't get better than this. Best service ever, you guys rock!
