However the pet clinic i went to, took him in and did a full body check with their medical equipment and gave me eyedrops for him, additionally his bloodwork came back and he has FIV . I trusted a lady named Ana. She sold the kitten to me when she said he was just dirty and now i had to pay more for a kitten that was "healthy". She claimed she doesn't do that kind of business but she does, and this company will take your money to meet their rent. Do not shop here! Every experience at this store makes me question why I don't just order from chewy. The shelves are…read morenever well stocked, with boxes of unpacked product sitting in the aisles and no employees on the floor to help you find something. There's only ever one person on register so there is almost always a line, which people using the vaccination service also have to wait in. Order pickup takes forever because a manager has to get called over to do it, and they can only ever fulfill part of it because even they cannot find items that their website shows are in stock at this location. When you do ask for help the staff seem irritated and unable to answer questions. I want to support brick and mortar retail and but every time I visit this store I regret it.

3.5 stars To me,…read morethis Petco location is pretty good! I can bring my little guy (toy poodle pup) and he can sniff and prance and look around. They have a nice selection of toys, treats as well as food, some clothing options / clothes line (a little pricey!) and grooming and vet services. So, it's a one-stop shop for sure. I had my dog microchipped here and I've brought him to get his first grooming experience. I had Penelope and she did an OK job. It wasn't the most amazing ever (I wanted him a bit more fluffy, but she did say - and I know this - he hates the blow dryer). But she checked in with me on the size of the cut and how short she should cut. I'll probably bring him again to her. The only downside is that if you try to call the store, you probably won't get an answer. The store seems to be a bit short-staffed and it does get fairly busy so the check out line can get a bit long (with usually just 2 cashiers on). Other than that, it's a good option and I'll continue to frequent it for my pooch's needs.

If you are looking for a budgie tho this is not the place since they are fully flighted and very hard to tame while the other parrots have more socializing (ask the owner to take out the parrot and show you/he will not be able to do that for the budgies) I bought a parakeet/budgie for 25$, a Cockatiel for 150$ and a green quaker baby for 400$ (all babies or a little older) VERY VERY reasonable price especially compared to petco and other large chain pet stores. Timing on google is kinda off since I asked when I went in person and they said they where open 7 days a week. Even tho my budgie wasn't very tame it made friends with my other one, both my cockatiel and quaker where so friendly but do take a day or 2 to settle down. (Sadly all my birds flew away but I will definitely buy again when im more mature) PLEASE BUY FROM THIS FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS -btw I am only talking for the birds and do not know about the other critters but they did have some adol puppies which looked part German Shepard and sat with the owner

Out of my 7 years experience of grooming services elsewhere, Pet Home is by far the most…read moreprofessional and attentive grooming salon place that I have ever visited so far in downtown flushing!! I was helped by KK, who went above and beyond on providing excellent customer service to me and my Pomeranian, Bubbles. She texted me of the results despite it was their near closing time at 7pm, and if I was dissatisfied of the cut they would adjust. No other grooming salons would do that especially near their closing time. KK was very kind and communicated well throughout the whole process and even took the opportunity to assess my dog's skin condition and educated on a healthy diet for my dog's overall health outcome. My dog can get VERY aggressive when grooming towards us but Jaylin, Pet Home's groomer, was very professional and skillful! She delivered great results despite this obstacle. Pet Home worked as a team to calm my dog during the grooming process, which I was never made aware during all these years of grooming elsewhere. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this place for their professionalism, kindness, attentiveness, and each member's above and beyond customer service. I really felt how genuine they cared for each customer's dogs. They even have a porch with food and water in front of their door for stray animals. This really reflects how much they genuinely care about animals. Bubbles a DEFINITELY be coming back!!!

I ordered two Red-Tailed Red-Eye Puffers (Carinotetraodon irrubesco) from Monster Aquarium. What…read morearrived were two completely different fish--large, highly aggressive Pao puffers, apparently Pao abei and/or Pao cochinchinensis. These aren't species that could reasonably be confused in terms of size, temperament, or care requirements. This created an immediate problem. Irrubesco are small puffers that I had appropriate housing prepared for. The fish I received were roughly 3-4 inches long and belong to a group notorious for extreme aggression, requiring secure individual housing. I had to improvise emergency setups to keep them separated from each other and from my other fish while figuring out what they actually were. The most disappointing part was the response afterward--or lack of one. I contacted Monster Aquarium about the misidentification and sent photographs of the fish. I never received a response or any attempt to resolve the situation. Fortunately, a knowledgeable local aquarium store was willing to take both puffers, and they are now safely in experienced hands. But I had to solve a problem that never should have been mine in the first place. Fish identification matters, particularly with puffers. Sending someone a potentially extremely aggressive Pao in place of a small Carinotetraodon isn't just getting an order wrong; it can put the fish, the customer's existing livestock, and potentially the aquarist at risk. I understand that mistakes happen in the aquarium trade, especially with species that can be difficult to identify. What makes this a bad experience for me is that after a very consequential mistake, the seller simply did not respond.
