Nothing was truly exceptionable, but all enjoyable. Their homemade root beer was unique and a good NA option. The staff (presuming they were the owners) were very friendly, the interior space is comfortable and they have a fair amount of patio space for when the weather allows for it.

The wines here are all on the sweeter side (I am not a fan of sweet wines) but they did have a few options that even my palate enjoyed to sample though not enough to buy a bottle of... though you may find it to your liking! A fun fact about the Homer Bear Creek Winery is that most of the wine is not produced from grapes but from various local berries. Overall, it was a fun and different experience with a friendly and informative staff member who made the tasting experience quite enjoyable while browsing the trinkets in the gift shop/tasting room. The property also hosts an inn and has a cozy cabin vibe. If going for just the wine tasting I'd say an hour is plenty for a fun thing to do in Homer.
