My husband and I came here to get coffee on our way out from camping. Cute little spot where you can Airbnb above it! They offer coffee, kombucha and mimosas! The barista was very kind and friendly as most people are on the spit. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the drinks were just okay. My husband got the mocha which he said was just okay. Nothing special. I got the lupine latte which has rose and lavender in it and I added hazelnut. It had almost no flavor which I was surprised about because I added more syrup. It wasn't bad though! Just tasted like a latte with 1 pump of lavender kind of. If you like just a hint of flavor in your coffee, this would be a great spot for you. read more

Tried the white mocha, mocha, and sugar free vanilla latte. Enjoyed each one of them. Barista was kind and patient. Cute little coffee shop on the spit. They have many flavors of syrup. Also sell snacks, pastries, yogurt, and coffee shop merch. read more

This coffee shop is on one of the boardwalks on the Homer spit. It is no longer called Wild Edge Espresso, it is called Brew Alaska. They had good cold brew which my husband went back for seconds before we even left the boardwalk, and I got an iced tea (caffeine limits are sad :( The tea they used was from sipping streams which is a Fairbanks locally made tea which was cool. It was good, but I should have added honey or sugar. But it was fine. Cute on the inside, nowhere to sit. I've never been to Homer in the winter so I only know summer and they probably cater to tourists. You can sit outside on the picnic tables. read more

We came here this morning at about 9:30am and we loved it ! The girl there was super personable and we talked story while she made our coffee. I couldn't stop drinking it, it was so yummy. We got the brown bear (brown sugar & honey) and pizzly bear (brown sugar & white mocha). Highly recommend this spot! read more

Shore Brew Espresso is an adorable little coffee shop on the Homer Spit located on the Homer Shores Boardwalk with a view of the water out the large window in the back of the shop. Not much seating inside the shop, but nice outside sitting area with a table. The shop offers a wide variety of drinks from coffee to Italian sodas to water. The baristas on both days we visited were friendly and kind. I never know what I want, so I asked the barista for a recommendation. She recommended a coconut coffee drink. I was a little hesitant, but pleasantly surprised. Amy ordered the same. If you're headed out for a day on the spit or a charter for fishing or sightseeing, I'd recommend starting your day with a drink from this place. read more

Ridiculously expensive. Nearly $15 for two 16oz drinks. Extra 0.75 for alternative milk and extra 0.75 for syrup?!?! I will not be back.

Best coffee by far in Homer. The lead barista has been trained for a while in coffee and has made it a great shop! Well worth driving from in town to get a cup. read more

We went in shortly after they opened and they were completely out of everything. Hot chocolate, mocha, coffee beans, and on top of that, the baristo was very nervous and made it seem like the drinks he made were not going to taste good.... definitely better places in the area. read more
