Super comfy bed with a view

This place was absolutely perfect! European style rooms with clean shared bathrooms for a reasonable price. Cozy beds, convenient location, and extremely friendly staff. I will definitely be back!

I received this beautiful card for new year. We had great time when staying there. The room was comfortable and cozy. It was very convenient to have tap water and sink inside of the room

    Rv front row facing ocean

We loved this RV park! The staff were so friendly and they were so ready and willing to go above and beyond the expectations. The facilities were all super clean. The water was hot. The toilets were great. The laundry worked as it should. The flowers in the front were soooo cute too. 5/5 experience here. HOWEVVVERRRRRR we are not a dog family and did not realize that it was pet friendly. Maybe all RV parks are, I'm not sure this was our first long trip going from Fairbanks to Homer. But dogs don't respect quiet time especially not husky's that sing and whine a lot. Other than that noise it was perfect.

Thank you for such an amazing stay!! I just finished a 3 night stay at Driftwood Inn and it was pretty much perfect! My room was very clean, my bed was comfy, and I had plenty of towels (and not the scratchy kind). I had an amazing beach view from my room. Absolutely every staff I encountered was extremely helpful and pleasant. If you don't mind using a shared bathroom or not having a giant flat screen TV- this is a perfect place to stay. It's a long walk to the spit, but there are bike rentals by Safeway and cabs are very reasonable. There are very good restaurants for both breakfast in dinner right across the street. I will definitely be staying again on my next trip and recommending to friends.

We Yelped a couple places to stay and just drove up and got a room. We had a shared bathroom upstairs but that was okay. It was clean, nice, pleasant. The people who run it were super nice. There is a great patio if the weather allows overlooking the ocean and it's only a block from the beach. For the price, I'm not sure you could beat this place.

    The view from my bed.

I loved this place! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the desk staff friendly and helpful, and the place was just rusticly cute. There's an option for rooms with shared facilities, a common area with fridge, hot drinks, honor system snacks.... the main area has comfy overstuffed furniture, games, a fireplace.... The room was small, but well done. Built in bed on the window, comfy bed and pillows, small tv as an afterthought, and unneeded. The price was high, but competitive for Homer... the shared loo was clean and WARM, the hall slightly sloped and narrow... there really is nothing I disliked here. Free wifi and a kuerig in the room. Nice touch.

The little kitchen shared by all, with an honor system, for having hot tea, coffees, bagels, etc was perfect.

I honestly have never felt so relaxed in my life after staying here for 4 days. The massage was top notch, and the sauna was amazing, right on the cliff overlooking the water and eagles of Kachemak Bay. Even in the fog and rain, the setting was incredibly peaceful and lovely, and it the weather actually made it seem even more beautiful and relaxing in my opinion. I will never forget sitting in bed and watching thousands of shorebirds fly by over the course of our stay in early May, or the 5 eagles that flew right above my head as I soaked in the hot tub. It was wonderful to enjoy the beauty and wildness of the Homer Spit from the luxury of such relaxed and wonderful little boutique hotel.

The location is super quaint and an amazing view of the bay. Everyone who we encountered while coming and going was super friendly. As a guest of the Inn you have access to the hot tub. I appreciated how staff asked us to request hot tub times so everyone had the hot tub to themselves making it a more enjoyable experience. The hotel staff use texting as the primary way to communicate. This was nice - when we wanted extra towels we just sent a text.

There were a few small items on the sink. Plenty of hot, HOT water. HUGE TV. DirecTv. Mini Fridge. The bed was comfortable. No complaints. It is located in a good spot. Sort of in the middle of all the action. Close to Homer High School, Carrs/Safeway, Homer Jeans, and plenty of restaurants/coffee shops/breweries. Well two breweries. While the room may have been a little dated, the accommodations were still comfortable and had everything that we needed during our stay. They also have a restaurant/bar called the Otter Room that had pool tables and such. It seemed to be pretty popular in the evening but we didn't utilize it. The breakfast options offered by the hotel sounded pretty great - it included an omelet bar. The room also had the basics of shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc. Internet service worked great too. We got a pretty decent rate by utilizing a AAA discount, so be sure to look into that option if you have it. Our room was located on the top floor and was relatively quiet. Some rooms may have a view, ours only had a "peek-a-boo" view of the water if you looked hard enough. There was some road noise due to the occasional overly loud truck driving down the road. Really the only thing that may be an issue depending on who checks into the rooms on either side of you, is that the walls are a bit thin. We could hear our neighbors alarm clock in the morning and bits and pieces of their conversations. Overall this hotel met the bill for our needs with its convenient location, value, comfy accommodations and easy parking! Would definitely recommend to others!

We didn't really get to appreciate and enjoy them to the full extent since we arrived so late, went promptly to bed, and had to get up early in the morning. But based on the amenities and location, this is definitely one place I would return to if I were ever to find myself in Homer again. Check in was a little strange, being that you had to check in in a separate spot outside of town. But other than that, the entire check in process was smooth. The space itself was clean, conveniently located, and the bed was phenomenal! We enjoyed the jetted tub and the clear skies and beautiful views of the water. Walking distance from the harbor, several restaurants, and shops, this is the place to stay in Homer! Just beware, that if you stay here in the off-season, you are pretty much out on the spit by yourself with almost no amenities available. The property itself was well-kept. The lodges are right on the beach at end of Homer Spit, and there was some maintenance construction happening on two or three lodges while we were there--inside the apartment, it was completely silent, though. The radiant heat flooring was a nice touch, and it was great to have direct beach access through the back door. This place also has incredibly soft, fluffy bath towels--this is one place hotels often scrimp, so I am always appreciative of great towels. The shower was a bit tricky to figure out, but an employee answered the off-hours phone line and walked us through it.
