Most of the pinball machines have a $2 for 3 games deal on them as well!

I am not sure I've ever said that in a review. But I've now been here pre-covid and post. And I still feel this place needs a new cleaning crew, maybe a long weekend to sanitize every surface. My background is in nursing and public health, and I was just appalled at how gross the toys and structures were. I don't mind letting my child play at indoor facilities - it's nothing I have a "rule" against. But after finding layers of visible dirt/grime on almost everything we saw during our December visit, I was disgusted. Then that water table someone else mentioned... it's had this horrible rotting odor for years. I couldn't believe it's still there. But it is, still giving off an offensive stench that's pretty noticeable several yards away. There is a costume area with a stage, and the costumes have seen much better days. I cringed every time my son put on a hat or helmet - every toy/material here had some type of a smell and I wondered if anyone has ever put the costumes in a machine washer or wiped down the helmets? I was pretty surprised I didn't see any staff walking around, perhaps wiping surfaces or helping direct the masses of excited children. It was only $5 to get in, but I'm not sure why they can't charge a few dollars more and make the museum a clean, safer place for children. In December, covid, flu, and RSV were pretty prevalent in our area and I was nauseous thinking what we could have brought home with all of the disgusting things my son touched. I wish I could say we'd be back, especially as my son loves it, but this place is always a hard pass in my book.

I was a bridesmaid for my friends wedding, the second floor had been rented out for their reception...it is a series of rooms connected to a large dance floor in the center. The annoying part about the setup is that each room is closed off so you can't see or hear any announcements. They have large glass french doors that the staff opened but the design itself is not open concept so if you are not sitting at a table directly next to the dance floor, you're left out of the celebration. Our waitress was incredibly rude to the grooms son to the point were everyone at the table was annoyed with her lack of customer service. She had brought out salads to start the meal off, he decided he didn't want a salad & had left his table settings exactly as they were ( I myself did the same exact thing). For some unknown reason, this upset our waitress- she rolled her eyes at him while she yanked the napkin from the table & placed the salad before him making some rude remark about how he must not have any manors because he didn't have his napkin on his lap. Then, because the bride & groom had to greet every table; they missed out on dinner..our table had eaten all the rolls before they even had a chance to sit down so we asked for extras for them. They never arrived. Then when the meal was brought out, we explained to the waitress that the couple had asked us to request that their meals be brought out later because they didn't have a chance to eat...she left them sitting on the table until they were cold...and the food was terrible!!!! No one enjoyed their meal, in fact most of us didn't even finish it. The lemon chicken had absolutely no flavor & was rubbery & dry. One of the other bridesmaids had a vegetarian dish, it was suppost to have noodles with mixed vegetables- guess what, there were no noodles! When the bride & groom finally got to sit down (over 2 hrs later) the waitress brought out their meals...neither ate much of them since they were cold & you can tell they had been left under a heat lamp. Everything was soggy & looked as awful as it tasted. I had asked if there had been last minute changes to the reception because the bride had sent me pics of what meal plan they were choosing in case I couldn't eat it (I can't have onions or garlic,etc) & the pictures looked nothing like the food before us. She then explained that the food they gave us was not what her & the groom had picked out but what can you do after the fact?

They go above and beyond with the decor and attention to detail and creepy statues, and ugh gross. They had some of the creepiest elves I've ever seen in my life. The actors are also great. The wait was not too long. We might've waited 30 minutes in line - much longer during Halloween. It was really fun with so many different Christmas themes. There was even cousin Eddie from National Lampoon's Christmas vacation which was hilarious. I really enjoyed this Christmas haunted house. The actors did an awesome job. There were definitely plenty of jump scares. And at the end they had a Christmas bar with Christmas themed cocktails! It was a super fun to spend our evening.
