Such a high energy, high voltage place. You will love it from when you walk in till you leave. Must be 13 years or older and then have games other than the karts too. Very clean, friendly staff and safety is their number one concern. Such a great place for parties or just hanging out with friends. I recommend highly and can't wait to go back. They offer one to 5 time rides and group rates too!!!

We came here this afternoon for a couple rounds of indoor go karting. You have to pre-register, which didn't take too long, then you had to wear this head cover (which smelled of someone's shampoo/ head anyway) before putting on the helmet. Wished they helped out with wearing the helmet as you couldn't see how to buckle it down. Then came the best part of the thing - the race ! The indoor track is about a quarter mile, so, it was fun but after a while, the track just wasn't long enough. I felt that I was doing the same loop over and over again. And the track width was not wide enough at a lot of corners for others behind you to cut through and bypass you unless you purposely slowed down and pull to the far right, which would slow down your race time numbers. Overall, not a bad track for first timers, one round (8 mins) is enough.

My boyfriend and I just went to High Voltage for the first time and it was such a great experience! The staff seems very well trained and were so friendly. We had so much fun and will definitely be returning, would recommend stopping in. It's a bit pricey, but I'd say it's worth it.

After hearing nonstop commercials for High Voltage Indoor Karting on the radio, I decided to book a group of 7 of us here for my brother's bachelor party. Everyone had a blast! I booked the reservation months in advance and the staff there made everything simple! I put down a deposit and paid the balance when I got there. Driver registration was quick and easy online and they send you an email reminder the day before your reservation. The facility is located in an old foundry building at the end of a residential street, which was a bit odd, but it's a really nice setup they have. They have a snack stand and there was a food truck out front too. There's also arcade games and a couch and TV area to catch up on sports. You check in at the front desk where they take your picture for pole position and standings board and give you a head sock for your helmet. You can even rent a GoPro to mount on your helmet or bring your own! They'll send you a text letting you know that your race starts soon. Walk over the bridge and a staff member will give you the low down on the rules, how to work the go-kart, how to put you helmet and neck brace on, etc. The package I picked consisted of 3 races of 4 laps each. These karts are super fast, going up to 50mph! Realistically, the straightaways were only long enough to hit maybe 35-40mph, but it's still a rush and so fun! They recently expanded their track to add an outdoor section, (weather permitting) which was really cool! This place isn't cheap, but it's definitely worth checking out! They have cheaper rates during the week, so check their website for details. Zoom zoom!

Fun to come with a group of friends to race. The course is a bit small but it's still fun.

If you're a first-time racer, they do a quick safety briefing to walk you through the track rules and what each flag means, which was super helpful.

Attendant then looked in my vehicle and clearly stated that it looks like you both can walk. I asked the Midvale speedway parking attendant what does handicapped disabled look like to you? He then stated Someone in a wheelchair or can't walk. I retrieved my handicapped placard and held it out my window for the attendant to view. He huffed and said to park over there. The racing program is great; the only complaint I had was, when I visited, the visiting truck series had a LOT of crashes (yes, Midvale EATS cars), which can be great TV but really slows the action for live spectators. The track is a unique layout at 3/10's of a mile distance, which means it has 1/3 of a mile track-type speeds on a layout similar to a 1/4-mile track. Venue has excellent car counts, is VERY family-friendly, sells alcohol, and has great racing and reasonably-priced admissions and concessions. What's not to love?
