He then stated Someone in a wheelchair or can't walk. I retrieved my handicapped placard and held it out my window for the attendant to view. He huffed and said to park over there. As I'm disabled and can't walk distances of for a long period. He didn't care as he was descriminating me based on the type of vehicle I drove. The speedway has offered no comment . The racing program is great; the only complaint I had was, when I visited, the visiting truck series had a LOT of crashes (yes, Midvale EATS cars), which can be great TV but really slows the action for live spectators. The track is a unique layout at 3/10's of a mile distance, which means it has 1/3 of a mile track-type speeds on a layout similar to a 1/4-mile track. Venue has excellent car counts, is VERY family-friendly, sells alcohol, and has great racing and reasonably-priced admissions and concessions. What's not to love?

Its super easy to get to from IL, IN, MI,PA. They work hard to keep the grounds in good condition and have good shower facilities. I've camped here 4 times for Indycar and IMSA and this has to be one of the best deals for a race weekend. The camping pass we purchased can with two tickets and didn't require a separate wristband on top of all that. Would highly recommend going to and staying for an event!

Great for kids because stands are built into the hill and you don't have to worry about young ones falling. We watched from the hill above the drag-way and we were able to see the monitors and listen to the announcers. Great day at the raceway!

Smith Road Raceway is one of the oldest motocross tracks in Northeast Ohio, and has always been…read morevery popular throughout it's existance. The track is, according to the owners, a natural terrain style track with mostly natural obstacles. I have not ridden on the track since the recent ownership change, but apparently not much about Smith Road Raceway has changed since the ownership change. The area surrounding the track has lots of trees, and the atmosphere resembles that of a park. Many people who don't ride simply pay to spend the day spectating and watching the riders, and the concession stand sells refreshments to guests and riders as well. Smith Road hosts various races throughout the riding season, and they are typically held on holiday weekends such as Memorial Day weekend, the 4th of July weekend, and Labor Day weekend. Overall, if you prefer old-school motocross racing and enjoy a family friendly setting, I would reccomend you go and spend the day at Smith Road Raceway. It Is always well kept, bathrooms are taken care of, and the little cafe has typically, but yummy, food and drinks. Bring your family, friends, or just go by yourself! If your racer side feels like coming out, stop by during a test n tune! Have a son or daughter that is 8 or older? Bring them out to see the Jr dragsters and I'm sure they will be asking for one! This is an awesome track! This review will just be about the go kart track…read more The go kart track is a dirt track and a really great size. I race karts here and its a blast! This is my favorite track to race at. To get in you have to pull up by the gate and pay. There is an area for all the trailers and there is a place to get on and off the track. At the end of the features there is a place to pick up your trophy and money. Its very well organized and they usually make the right calls. I love this track and always will.
