Unfortunately, the program hasn't grown out of their 5000 seat arena. But that's OK, intimate is good for smaller programs and the JAR provides a great facility for the students. Free parking was pretty easy, mainly because it was winter break. It's about a 5-10 minute walk from all the decks and lots. There are minimal, standard concessions in the stands by the entrance. You need to go upstairs to reach all sections. Stand until we score our first bucket and enjoy the game. The JAR also provides classrooms for some of the classes (I remember having an Eastern Civ class downstairs). The track provides a good running venue in the winter. And there a plenty of courts for intramural basketball or volleyball. Go Zips!

The stadium can seat a large capacity, but UA fans were in small numbers. I think Wyoming fans were probably half of the crowd. Seating is general admission unless you buy something fancier. That was a perk as it allowed us to see where we preferred to be, which ended up being at the 50yd line, third row, right behind the Wyoming bench. Cheers.

The seats are way closer to the field, stadium is more intimate, pricing is way more affordable and the overall fan experience just cannot be beat. I've gone to many major league games where they don't come close to as much fun as the Rubberdm ducks do. The ticket prices are very reasonable, they offer numerous promotions throughout the season, fireworks on weekends and parking us generally very simple. If you go, you have to get the street corn- look for it behind section 119/120. Kids can sign up yo get a pass for autographs before the game- at guest services and passes are limited. Be ready for lots of foul balls too.

One of my favorites things is seeing Akron Children's Hospital overseeing the ball park. I can only imagine how much it brightens a child's day to look out their hospital room window to see the inside of the ball park. There was a 2026 Extreme Foods article written about food at Akron Rubberducks ball park. My family and I decided to try a couple. The pictures here show The Italian Sausage Dugout from the Bier Garten. For $22 you get the Italian Sausage Dugout (sausage, peppers, onions, marinara, and mozzarella cheese) and a souvenior cup with pop. I was excited and looking forward to this all day, but it was a let down. It wasn't hot in the inside and the French bread tasted like it came out of the freezer. A couple of my other family members got the TeriAkron bowl from the Pineapple Under the C and won't be getting it again. It wasn't as flavorful as one would expect. Overall, a great experience watching the Rubberducks win!
