This mini gold spot was awesome! One of my favorites I've been too! I loved how each hold was in a different room with a different theme. I think the hydronic moving items triggered by sensors set this place apart. That and the cool assortment of memorabilia! My 6 year old was in heaven. She will always remember this place and the kind guy at the snack shop who gifted her a lollipop! We visited for the first time for a 7th birthday with my younger child who is 4. It was a bit costly as it was almost $45 for 2 adults and 2 kids. The 3D glasses they provided were adult sized and did not fit the kids at all. The holes were really cool and different, but there was no space left between the holes which was challenging. The holes were also a bit scary with animation. If your kids scare easily, I would not bring them. read more

We had a fun family day in downtown Medina and randomly came across Alien Vacation Mini Golf. It was so fun!! It's a great time for families or even a date night. Each hole has a different theme based on the Alien Family's vacation here on earth! The art work on the walls, the props were fun for the whole family. We definitely recommend it! read more

Very fun indoor miniature golf venue. They interior is painted and decorated for 3D glasses that they give to you. Some effects were very cool and many automated creatures added to the fun. The course was very playable without being too easy. They have a cafe in the middle of the course that serves food, drinks and even beer. Overall a good choice for families or just fans of mini golf. Not the cheapest place, but we enjoyed it. read more

Took my son to AVMG this evening and we were given 3-D glasses, a golf ball, and a putter. We began our journey through this indoor putt putt maze on hole one while getting used to the 3-D effects of the glasses. It was pretty cool, but pretty hard to just distance. We played all of the holes with our glasses on though because it was cool looking. All of the black lights make the graphics on the walls and floor pop. It was hard to see the holes though. So fun! 5 year old was intrigued with every scene change from hole to hole. At the "turn" there is a concession bar area with snacks, non alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. We drove 45 mins for a fun, indoor, rainy day activity and we will definitely be back! read more

The putt putt was very fun and interesting but the 3D glasses weren't that good and some of the golf balls didn't glow as much.

Was 3D to the max. Wonderful wall drawings. Even a couple of surprises along the way. We were the only ones playing today, but there is a snack shop half way though. Really nice people! read more

This is such a cute, unique and adorable idea- a fantastic get away on a rainy day or for when you're sick & tired of the cold weather. Whomever painted all of the neat little characters & backdrops did an amazing job, and the party room looks awesome! My only disappointment was that the course wasn't long enough (I didn't want the adventure to end) & that the parking was non-existent. After going to Castle Noel the next stop is obviously a 3D, Alien, Glow in the Dark mini golf attraction! It sounded like an odd idea to be attached to Castle Noel but why not? It has 19 holes and you get to wear 3D glasses. I did find at points the 3D glasses made me not feel that well but you can take them off as you please. I would say that if this place was busy it could get annoying as some of the rooms with the holes are small or are back to back. When we were there it wasn't very busy so we did not have any problems. If you have a chance while visiting Castle Noel for sure stop here! read more

I stopped by Allien vacation Mini golf today with a friend of mine two or three times we walked all the way up to this place comes to find out they were closed. So before you plan on doing this make sure you call to verify when they are open. They loose a lot of customers that come to give them business. Are third trip up we waited around for two hours just for someone to help us the signs says they were open and they were not. They are so short handed and they open when they want and they close when they want. read more

So unique and fun! Went for my 12 year old brother's birthday but just as much fun for the adults! Alien bar has some great themed drinks, I preferred the Alien Snot. I would suggest getting there early like we did because they got pretty busy when we were leaving. Cool souvenir balls at an extra price but was worth it for us. The 3D and blacklight features made for a ton of laughs and fun - the design was very well done too, with different themed holes. Went Saturday 3rd of Sept around 430p, wasn't very busy. We had never been there before, as we walked in the girl behind the counters first words out of her mouth were "cash or card". Not hello, welcome.. nothing. So I said card, she snatched the card from my hand and ran it to a machine under the counter (DID not like not being able to see the machine she ran my card through, NO idea exactly what she was doing with my credit card) as she was processing my payment she says "balls are here clubs around the corner" again no pleasantness. (During this entire transaction there were about 6 kids 8 years or under running around the holes, hitting balls so hard they were smacking the walls, running back and forth this is important in a minute) The counter girl offered no rcpt of any kind, so I asked for one, again seemed sketchy that she had my card for longer than needed and didnt offer a rcpt, she tears off the 4 foot long register rcpts rips the bottom portion off and hands it to me. I said, No I would like a credit card rcpt. She then retorted with "that is the rcpt". Again, I stated no its a register rcpt I want the one from the actual cc machine, now, it really is seeming sketchy. She looks at me like Ive grown another head...this shouldnt be this hard. I realized that the last hole was right there on the way out. So I say, we will come back for it. We turn and "try" to start the first hole.. remember the kids.. yup they are still running wild. So my husband and I stand there for like 5 minutes letting them finish up playing, they run around the corner and we start. My husband sets his ball down, takes one hit.. I turn to set mine down and poof out of nowhere is a little kid and his got his ball down on the start mat thing. So now Im just irritated.. I said in the nicest voice possible..We are right in the middle of our turn, can you please wait yours. this is the first hole you guys! i havent even made it off of hole one and frankly Im done. The child picks up his ball and goes running around the corner. Out of nowhere the counter girl walks up to my husband and forcefully hands him the rcpt from the cc machine. Now, my husband has had nothing to do with the interaction and instead of giving ME the rcpt she shoves it at him and walks off. I take a breath, trying to not let some high school teenager ruin what would have been a nice night out... the kids come to find out had already played their way through once and was "seeing how far we could get again" so holes one through six had these kids just frankly everywhere and in the way. No one cared, or did or said anything to them.. they ran wild until they left. After all this nonsense once we were actually able to play.. it was fun. Truly, the art work was amazing the ladies at the Mars bar were super nice...but honestly and unfortunately we wont be back, b/c of the way we were treated from the jump.... read more

This place is awesome! The black light paint is ultra bright and the designs are super cool. We picked two balls that glowed brightly and even then we had a hard time finding the ball on some of the colorful greens. It's definitely challenging and well worth the money. My husband still managed to get a hole in one on the Egyptian theme hole. I had a hole in one on the octopus hole. My husband said it was a gimme since the middle pipe sends your ball directly at the hole, but hey I didn't see him make it! There's an adorable 1950s still sitting area in the middle of the course where you can stop to get drinks or a treat. The last hole sends your ball through a maze of wire guides all the way back to the shack, which even as adult I enjoyed. If you have kids, this play will blow their minds. We played a couple holes with the 3D glasses on. It's very trippy and made us feel like we were playing through beer goggles. We felt the course was challenging enough without the glasses. We drove out from Rootstown and while it was a long drive, it was well worth it. We will be back! read more

Such a fun time! We came here with a large group for an employee appreciation afternoon. We rented the party room for lunch at the Castle Noel and then had an Alien Mini Golf Adventure. Dana helped us plan the afternoon with food and coordinating our large group of over 80 to play the 19 hole course! Everything went so well and everyone had a really good time! Dana was a great help planning and always got back to me in a timely manner. She made suggestions and answered all my questions in an effort to make the afternoon memorable. Once we got there the staff was extremely helpful and nice and we could tell they really enjoyed their job in this family fun atmosphere. Caution: While playing the game it is easy to get distracted with the fun and creative artwork on the walls and floor. Allow extra time to notice all the cool designs and pause for pictures if coming with a group. The 3D glasses add an extra dimension. Sometimes hard to walk around that way but you can take off an put on as you wish. Many of us look forward to coming back with family and also taking a trip next door to the Castle Noel. Everyone must pay full, overpriced admission cost even if they don't play! This ridiculous policy ruined the whole experience for me. I was not playing, but simply walking through to supervise my kids and it cost an extra $11. For this reason alone, I will not be back. This place was an absolute blast! From the moment we walked in, the guy at the front door greeted us and you could tell he enjoyed his job. He made it so much more fun for us. The place was immaculate. Not a crumb on the floor. The 3D was really, really cool. Yes, it can mess with your eyes and head after a while but that is normal for 3D. The animatronics were fun, especially their dialogue. My gf and I went on a rainy day and are glad we did. Everyone seems to complain about the price. It was $11 each. This is the coolest place I've ever done mini-golf. It was extremely creative inside and every room was an adventure. I love how disorienting (but in a good way) the 3-D glasses are with the paint. The Mayan room was my favorite, walk around the edges of the doorway to see the paint look like it's jumping out and moving as you walk. The artist owner that makes things for Castle Noel and this place is simply amazing. I have a real respect for his talent. You will not be visually disappointed. read more
