The area is in dire need of weeding and there is stagnant water breeding bugs that bit us the entire time. It looks like at one time it must have been a waterfall and stream. The indoor/outdoor carpet is wrinkled/ bunched/torn, in one place torn off altogether and lying on the landscaping stones, in general it is in disrepair. There is one line "fun" obstacle, a rusty loop. There are brittle weathered bricks "bordering" the greens but they are falling apart and are more of a trip hazard than anything else. The posts that mark the holes are warped splintered and decrepit wood, several of them missing parts of the numbers. I did not want to cause a scene inside where we dropped off the clubs because there was a man reading at a table and my children were with me. I did however call first thing the next day they opened and I asked for the mgr and I was told he comes in occasionally and my name would be given to him. I decided to call again today and the lady today was very unfriendly telling me she doesn't have a mgr just an owner who randomly checks in and she would pass my name along. She said the reason the prices are so cheap is because of the condition of the course?? She also said that "they plan to do some work on it sometime". She was increasingly agitated when I asked her name and process for customer satisfaction. She said they have never had a complaint so there wasn't a process she was aware of. Finally she said her name was Yolanda or Joanna, very difficult to hear her because she was talking so fast. I asked her to spell it and she hung up on me. Never going back again...

The course is always in great shape and is one of the only courses that drains incredibly. It could rain buckets and close most courses in Northeast Ohio, but Turkeyfoot not only could remain open, but also have little to no standing water. In addition to a beautifully manicured fairways and greens is the friendliness of the staff. I have called up minutes before arriving asking if I could get on the course to play- they have been more than accommodating. Lastly, Turkeyfoot has 3 separate nine holes- They have their traditional 18 holes for regular golfers- but they also boast another 9 holes along the water for younger golfers, newer golfer, YET has a bit of challenge for the avid golfer. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend Turkeyfoot Golf Course to all family and friends.

She got ice and I received a drink in a cup without ice (straight up). My drink tasted strange, so I thought maybe it was just warm or the type of ginger ale they used. Couldn't find our waitress anywhere so I walked up to the bar to get a cup of ice. When I poured my drink into the plastic cup with ice, I saw the culprit. SUDS. I was given a glass that had soap not rinsed out. I thought the original 'foam' was the soda but then realized the ginger ale was FLAT and the suds were soap. Waitress finally came back and I ordered a beer instead and sent it back. Then we ordered some appetizer which was less than stellar. Sorry kids but we won't be back.
