Nonetheless, we chose a room with a high(er) degree of difficulty......spoiler alert, we could t have finished without extra time & MORE than the allotted number of hints. Since it was early and not busy, we got to quickly peek at other rooms. They were all clean, looked fun & challenging. Once you are in the room, there is a handy video introduction to the course. My partner went ahead and started while the newbie watched the video, and boy did we end up needing that. We planned on returning for ax throwing later in the evening, but ended up with other plans. Next time because we'd go back.

What an awesome place to blow off some steam by racing karts and having a lot of fun doing it. I…read moredid the karting option which allows you to race your friends around the track which was a fun challenge since the karts have no power steering so it's a fun challenge turning the wheel at high rates of speed. They also have AX throwing and VR games which I didn't try but those seemed like great options.

We were with two folks who are veteran escape room junkies so they asked to take a peek in the Asylum Escape Room. It looked very neat. When we got there we noticed the two rooms are opposites regarding the success rate - Chocolate Factory the best rate (maybe 60% approx.) and Asylum the lowest of all their rooms at maybe 15% (I am guessing here on the %'s). The Asylum room was not booked so we also did that one (I think getting a 15% off for going a second time on the same day). That was very, very tough. Tons of clues with numbers and symbols and letters, etc. The game master was great (young lady, forgot her name). The rooms functioned fine (nothing broke or missing). Any negative comments? The only one I came up with was that occasionally when we needed clues we had to ask multiple times before they came through on the screen. Overall, we would highly recommend this location.

Met my partner here, so I'm a little biased. It is pricey for a mini golf excursion, but keep in…read moremind that you're also paying for the artwork and the sci fi museum pieces (there are three so far). There is also a nice snack bar with a tropical fishtank about halfway through the course. There's not a lot of extravagant drinks there (don't expect a martini or a grasshopper or anything like that), but there is a good variety of beers, wines, IPAs, and seltzers for the adults as well as slushies and sodas for the kids. As for the course, it's incredible what they've been able to do with such a small space. They've basically snaked 19 holes around a fairly large basement area that begins and ends in the same spot, and each hole (save five or so in the middle that are essentially one big diorama and two holes making up an ocean area) has its own theme. There are animatronics, sound effects, and painting tricks that work well with the 3D glasses, but it's not necessary to wear them to enjoy the experience. I highly recommend this place with some caveats. Try to go during times of lower traffic. Weekend/weekday mornings and the first couple of hours on Sundays tend to be the least busy and allow for a more relaxed play experienced. If you find it is crowded, I can't believe it has to be said, but please be respectful to your fellow golphers. A lot of the bad reviews on here seem to be more about inconsiderate customers than the quality of the course. Keep in mind that as I said, the space is a bit cramped due to the maze-like layout of the place, so respecting personal space and waiting your turn is a must here. Also, you're not just paying to play, you're paying to see the artwork. Trust me, there are a lot of cool little details in the displays and on the walls that people don't seem to pay attention to when they speed through the course. To use a restaurant metaphor: the place may look like fast food to be consumed and devoured, but it's more complex than that and should be taken in and savored.
