I recently attended Wicked: For Good at the Canton Palace Theatre in Canton, Ohio, and…read moreunfortunately the experience was overshadowed by a situation that should never have been allowed to continue. Throughout nearly the entire movie, two girls (roughly between 9-13 years old) were loudly giggling and talking. At one point, someone from the theatre came in, told them to quiet down, and then left. The noise immediately resumed and continued for the rest of the film. This alone made it extremely difficult to enjoy what should have been a great movie experience. When the movie ended, the same two girls ran up and down the aisles screaming. I later learned they were either the children of, or under the supervision of, a theatre employee -- specifically the same person who briefly told them to be quiet earlier. They were also seated in a rear section where patrons are apparently not even allowed to sit. There were very few people in the theatre, which made the lack of enforcement and professionalism even more noticeable. If this is typical of how screenings are handled, it raises serious concerns about management and customer experience. I believe the audience deserved better intervention during the film, and frankly, an apology or compensation would be appropriate given how disruptive the situation was. The Canton Palace Theatre is a beautiful venue with a lot of potential, which makes this experience all the more disappointing. I hope management takes this kind of situation seriously moving forward so guests can actually enjoy the movies they pay to see.

The ceiling of the theater shows a dark starry sky with clouds that rotates around, which is a super cool feature. The ushers were helpful pre-show. My biggest complaint is that the lobby is ridiculously small/crowded for the amount of people the theater accommodates.

We enjoyed it, except for one problem! All seven of complaints about the sound a quality! If the play is talking only the sound is good. However, when singing with the band playing the words either merged with the music or the words are total overlays by the music! We love talking plays, without music! Music plays would be better if the voice is amplified louder or the music is dampen! Parking is paid parking on two floor roof Restrooms are in the basement with only stairs! Restrooms are clean and large, but long line waits. Performances are professional quality and sometimes performers are brought in for their specialty's!

The Canton Museum of Art (CMA) is an unexpected art gem in the Canton's art district. It is located…read morein the Cultural Center for the Arts. The building contains Canton Ballet, Sing Stark, and ArtsinStark. You can have an entire cultural adventure in the same space. That's exactly what my experience was. I visited the center for St Nicholas Balalaika performance, and discovered that the building had this museum. I love art and so I HAD TO stop in. SPACE: The museum doors are accessible through the Cultural Center for the Arts. You can peek through large windows to get a lot at some art at the Cultural Center for the Arts. The museum has multiple rooms of art. There is plenty of room to explore. The museum also has a small souvenir shop. ADMISSION: Regular adult admission is $8. Free admission is available every Thursday and first Friday of every month. ART: The art museum has a space with gorgeous sculptures. There are also art works for sale in the foyer. Few striking pieces are available. The main exhibit space is displayed in multiple rooms. The current exhibition is Shattered Glass: The Women Who Elevated American Art (on display until March 1). To be honest, prior to the visit here I was only able to name Gloria O'Keefe as a renowned female artist. This exhibit expanded my horizons. There were so many famous and global women artists. It's a very empowering exhibit. You'll even find the renowned "Migrant Mother" photograph. The art includes digital art room. Plan for extra time to look at every piece of art and read every single story. Also, linger by the guestbook available in the galleries. There are beautiful reflections about the exhibit. Leave your own. SERVICE: I was blown away with the service here! I've been to museums in various parts of the work, and this one was the friendliest. I arrived during the last 30 minutes of their work day. The staff welcomed me with open arms. They were friendly, informative, and invited me back. It was an excellent experience. PARKING: There is a surface lot by the center. There is also a parking garage to accommodate visitors. I look forward to returning to the museum for events and exhibits. This museum is such a gem, more people should talk about it. I loved my time there - the art, the hospitality, and the new perspective about women artists.

I was absolutely thrilled that North Canton Playhouse was doing The Play That Goes Wrong!…read more We're a musical family, but my dad really only likes straight plays, so I was so excited to take him to one of the best ones around. It ended up being such a great choice. The cast and crew were incredibly charming, and you could truly feel their passion all the way from your seats. The playhouse itself is comfortable and welcoming, and there's something so good about supporting local theater. Even though it was a bit of a drive for us, we're already keeping an eye out for another production from them. If you're thinking about going, please do!

I have a huge heat burn and huge water blister on my back side now. So be cautious w the heated seats. I ended up sitting on the edge of the seat the remainder of the movie. Not fun!
