We visited the restaurant on July 3 2026. We around 8:30 am was set around 9am took 15 min. for order to be took, at 10:00 am we ask how much longer it would be on our order and the so called owner said he check , he said about 15 more mins. We ask what was taking so long and his exact words were this is not a fast food restuarant if you want that go to waffle house and dont let the door hit you in the ass. All i heard the whole time i was in there was how busy they stay and how he was selling the business to open up another restaurant by the lake. If THAT IS HOW HE TREATS PEOPLE GOOD LUCK and by the way your always busy because the same people are in there waiting on their damn food, the same people spends 2 hrs. in there waiting to be waited on and served. We're just moving here and we're looking for a non chain, hometown breskfast place. Can't speak to the food. Didn't make it that far. Busy morning, it was obvious people were waiting, however, someone new attending may not know that you DIDN'T have to check in with staff to get in the queue, as is normal with 99% of sit down establishments. Also we wished to look at a menu as we waited. The employee that saw me enter and look to check in and get a menu must have thought I looked entitled and expected to cut line as he curtly pointed out people were waiting outside and dismissed any chance I'd have another reason for entering the establishment. I simply told him I was very aware of the line outside but was seeking a menu while we waited. I did not point out to the professional plate retriever, that a reasonable person may also believe they had to check in for a table before taking place on the line outside of said sit down diner. Upon my notifying him I sought a menu, He said menus were outside in the table and they most certainly were not as two families were mid meal at both. We simply chose not to dine at this point so I could avoid my urge to inform the staff member how presumptuous and idiotic his greeting was to me. We went 2 days in a row while in town and it didn't disappoint either time! I had the chuckwagon steak breakfast and the bacon cheeseburger and onion rings the next day. Great little spot with super friendly owners and great service. They make their own bread, biscuits, bread pudding and cinnamon rolls the size of your head. Highly recommend! Food is good but the overall experience of dining here is stressful. I've eaten here twice and it was the same experience both times. We show up and the restaurant is full. The owner sees you walking through the door and before the door even shuts behind you the owner is flustered, out of breath and yells across the restaurant that "there's no tables, you'll have to wait". Ok, no big deal, we can wait. Table opens, we sit, owner brings water over and is breathing hard, asks us if we need a job? No, we just want breakfast. A new couple walks in and before the door shuts behind them the owner stops taking our order to yell at them "there's no tables" so they turn around and leave. Owner does not offer any type of "hey, thanks for coming- we're busy right now but if you just hang out we'll have a table soon", nothing like that. Dude- you own a restaurant. Expect it to be busy. Your customers don't care about your problems. You seem extremely annoyed at anyone who tries to walk in the door and eat there. You running around the restaurant all flustered like a damn crackhead will not keep you in business for long. People will remember how you made them feel and you make people feel like they should've gone somewhere more welcoming. read more

Our order was taken from a server sitting at a table behind us, because he couldn't be bothered to stand at our table. I had the French Toast and sausage. The French toast lacked any flavor and amounted to soggy bread. The sausage was just inedible. My husband ordered the two egg breakfast with home fries. The eggs were definitely not cooked to order, the sausage was cold, and the home fries were also poorly cooked. There are other, better breakfast options. I would pass on this one. read more
