Supposed to be a breakfast sandwich with ONE terribly cut piece of toast. A cold sausage patty & some fries. Was expensive, took long to deliver. Would never recommend

We went 2 days in a row while in town and it didn't disappoint either time! I had the chuckwagon steak breakfast and the bacon cheeseburger and onion rings the next day. Great little spot with super friendly owners and great service. They make their own bread, biscuits, bread pudding and cinnamon rolls the size of your head. Highly recommend! Also, you can't go wrong with a place with a 100 health rating!

    After eating at Grizzle Bear.

They were so sweet accommodating are party of 10. Their food was hot and awesome. Totally homemade. Thank you to the workers they did a wonderful job.

Shrimp and Grits? Three times, even better than some coastal restaurants. Grilled Salmon? A big 10 for the table. Deserts good, Bread Pudding (in GA?) large and spot on. I could go on. Oh, good wine list and bar. This location has been several things over the past 40 years and I have experienced most of them. We stopped considering it due to the instability/inconsistencies. This time, everything is grade A and has been consistently excellent on six different occasions over two years. Food quality and prep is now superb. Dinners are special and I am not sure it is the same kitchen of crew for lunches. The restaurant is housed in The Ridges which has a hotel that requires 3 meals per day. It was happy hour, so we enjoyed HH Old Fashions before dinner. For starters, the chef sent out a wonderful spinach artichoke pastry app. We shared a Farmhouse Salad, and changed out the goat cheese to Blue cheese. For dinner, our server suggested Halibut and Short Ribs, so that is what we ordered. There was no rush and we enjoyed some wonderful tasting food!. Our service was perfect. The culinary experience is nothing short of a Michelin experience for dinner. The price is all inclusive , sans your alcohol. The service is world class and the staff makes you feel so welcome. First things first -- get ready for a drive. This place is…read morenot just "down the street." It's a journey. But let me be very clear: it is 100% worth it. From the moment you arrive, you can tell Mercier Orchards is something special. There is so much packed into this one location that it almost feels like a small village built around apples and everything that comes with them. Inside the main store, the selection is honestly overwhelming in the best way possible -- home goods, gifts, jams, jellies, preserves, baking mixes, sauces, butters, ciders... anything and everything apple-related, plus plenty of other fruit-based goodies. It's the kind of place where you say "I'm just going to browse" and then walk out with bags of stuff you didn't know you needed. Then there's the bakery. Seven lines. All long. And all moving surprisingly well. I eventually stepped out of line after about 15 minutes, but not before getting a solid look at the pastries, pies, breads, and desserts -- everything looked incredible. Even without buying anything that round, the bakery alone is worth the stop. Now let's talk about the apple picking experience -- because this is where the magic really happens. Riding out on a trailer attached to a tractor felt like something straight out of a fall movie. The views, the air, the vibe -- it's peaceful, exciting, and nostalgic all at the same time. The apples change with the season, and the ones we picked were delicious and lasted a long time. No pesticides, just straight calcium. Fresh, crisp, and perfect. And yes... get a bag or three like I did. You're going to want them. The entire place also makes for amazing photo opportunities. Whether it's the orchard, the tractor ride, the store, or the scenery -- this is one of those spots where your camera roll is guaranteed to fill up. The only negative moment of the day happened when I went to grab some cider and one of the guys behind the counter completely ignored me. I actually had to call him out -- like, "Did you not see me standing here?" Not great. But that one interaction couldn't even come close to outweighing everything else this place offers. Bottom line: If you're anywhere in the area -- or even thinking about making a day trip -- you absolutely have to go. It's a little off the beaten path, so I don't expect most people to just "stumble" upon it... but if you plan it, you won't regret it. This is an experience, not just a stop.

After having coffee all around this place, I can confidently say that Mountain Mama's Coffee is doing it the right way. As a former roaster, I can appreciate the small things like how they worked the bar during a rush, the customer service of the staff, and attention to detail by the baristas to ensure every shot was pulled, milk steamed perfectly, and providing quality coffee. This hands down is the best coffee shop in this area. I had a cup of drip coffee which was a blend of Peru and Brazilian coffee beans. It was nice to finally be able to enjoy a black cup of coffee on this trip. I also had a cheese danish and a Morning bun which were both tasty and satisfying. The environment was very cool! Loved the decor and it was a nice size space that used every corner they could without it compromising the aesthetic.
