Supposed to be a breakfast sandwich with ONE terribly cut piece of toast. A cold sausage patty & some fries. Was expensive, took long to deliver. Would never recommend

We went 2 days in a row while in town and it didn't disappoint either time! I had the chuckwagon steak breakfast and the bacon cheeseburger and onion rings the next day. Great little spot with super friendly owners and great service. They make their own bread, biscuits, bread pudding and cinnamon rolls the size of your head. Highly recommend! Also, you can't go wrong with a place with a 100 health rating!

    After eating at Grizzle Bear.

They were so sweet accommodating are party of 10. Their food was hot and awesome. Totally homemade. Thank you to the workers they did a wonderful job.

Staff was pleasant and attentive, the owner passed by several times and asked how things were. It truly did remind me of being at my grandmother's as the story in the front of the menu says it will. The food was very good and the prices are very reasonable. We will be back. The only picture we took was the Front of the place which there are plenty of already posted.

When we walked in, we waited to be seated, we were standing close to the cash register and kitchen area. As we waited we listed to one of the staff complaining that wasn't a great sign. As we were being seated, we noticed all the cute decor! Someone took a lot of time to make the place look so cute! The waitress was super attentive! Hubby ordered the special, a Meatball sandwich and I ordered a salad with fried chicken tenders... I had to cheat a little bit. That Fried Chicken was calling my name! The food came out after a little bit of a wait. I completely understand because the chicken was fresh. But my poor hubby got a mess of a sandwich. It appears they made the sandwich and it sat while the chicken cooked. It was a soppy soggy mess. The bread was drenched and completely mush. He said the French Fries weren't much better. I asked him if he could eat just the meatballs and he picked up them each up with a fork and each and everyone of them were completely black on one side. Totally burned. Boy I felt bad because my chicken was delicious! This is the reason I added two stars. We went to pay, my husband leaving his hot mess in his plate. The owner was at the cash register, I found this out because she answered the phone while checking us out (stating her name was Julie). She was in such a mood, she was rude to the person on the phone placing an orderIn fact she was even rude to us, she scared the bjesus out of me....so we didn't say a word. I sure didn't want to complain and start an altercation . Hubby will never go back. He was not happy at all. I might go back, maybe with a friend and hope next time is better ‍ Possibly everyone was having a bad day? It was not crowded when we dined, as it was around 2:30pm. We thought this would be an asset, but we were wrong. Here is hoping it was an off day for them. Dine at your own risk my friends. Stay away from soggy sandwiches! Go for the fried chicken

It's diner-style comfort food, and within that style restaurant, Waffle King in Murphy delivers! The staff is welcoming and friendly with a very down-home style. I should add that in a time when so many businesses are staffed at a bare minimum, Waffle King was fully staffed, and the team was clearly working to provide their customers with a good experience. Staff were attentive in preparation and service as well as cleaning and doing prep work for the next set of customers. I was impressed!

The beautiful fresh produce complimented the expertly cooked and seasoned proteins. There wasn't a single thing we ate that we didn't enjoy. The room itself was pleasant as well. It was hard to leave the luxurious king bed every morning. The heated floors in the bathroom and the comfy sitting area made our Holly Springs cottage suite the perfect home base. We were also assigned our own golf cart to get around the property (although we chose to walk mostly to take in the views). Service was top notch and the staff were wonderful. I wanted to try their pancakes but didn't want a full stack, and our server Robin was wonderful in recommending the Sweet Start. One thing we really appreciated is that all breakfast entrees include coffee or tea, and the prices are already very reasonable. We were also pleasantly surprised to learn that even though we ordered specialty coffees, we could still enjoy complimentary refills of regular coffee. The restaurant has a charming and unique atmosphere, with every table looking a little different from the next. For my meal, I ordered the Sweet Start, which included one pancake, eggs, and bacon. I also appreciated the transparency from the staff. When I asked for an extra serving of their homemade pecan butter, I was informed upfront that there would be an additional charge....a level of honesty that's surprisingly rare these days. My husband ordered the Banana Nut French Toast comes with homemade whipped cream and homemade pecan butter, which also came with bacon. He added a side of eggs as well. Everything was delicious.
