A fun haven for old school gamers…read more Omnihedral is a game store dedicated to tabletop games such as board games, card games, and pen and paper games. This large store is filled with antique tables and chairs, inviting you to sit down and play one of their hundreds of testable board games. An upstairs area with an even grander table is ideal for hosting D&D sessions. Any time you come to Omnihedral, expect to hear the sounds of rolling dice and cheering players. Omnihedral's large walls are littered with every board game under the sun, including rarer kickstarter games that might not even be available for public commercial purchase. They sell games and accessories, plushies and wearables, little gifts and large pieces of decoration you can take home. They also sell a variety of 3D printed goods. Last year, I purchased a christmas tree ornament of a mimic that I still cherish. If you're looking for something interesting and rare, ask one of the employees and they'll point you to something unique, like a christmas tree dice holder that doubles as a dice tower. Prices are higher than what you'd expect at a brand store such as Walmart or Target, but you get so much more variety to choose from with games and other items you cannot find anywhere else. If you have a passion for games, Omnihedral will feed that passion.

You can maintain a pull list and box with them to save time every week and to make sure you get the issues you want. For MTG, they have a large selection of sealed product and accessories. You get knowledgeable players, and they are super accessible to new players. The space is a little tight, but they make it work, and the prize payout is very fair with most players leaving with at least a pack. Just about everything except D&D figures--no big whoop!…read more So(!), was in the area the other day. Someone told me about this place years ago, never bothered till now. Managed to get there on a good day, easy parking. it's a small shopping center, y'know? Walking in, it literally was wall-to-wall vintage collectibles. Many still in their packages. Walking through it all brought a sense of nostalgia, but at the same time I felt a dull pain--in my wallet. Whatever your focus is, collecting can be expensive and time consuming. Star Wars, Barbie, He-Man, Star Trek (to a lesser extent)...DC/Marvel superheroes. Collectible toy cars (Hot wheels, etc.). There's a lot to look at. Some in their own package, some bagged specifically for the store. 85% of what's there are action figures and such. The rest is a mix of collectible comics, toy cars, and other odd bits. I'd say the prices are reasonable, though a handful of the limited edition collectibles (such as a Sideshow figure of Ghost Rider on his flaming bike) had prices which gave heart palpitations. Era-wise, I'd say the vast majority of toys there are mid-70's on. So there are toys related to "The Six Million Dollar Man", as an example. There were some older 50's era pieces as well. And, like i said, some comics. If I had more time to look I would've stayed longer, but time's the one thing I didn't have. Speaking of which, they were out of the one thing I was looking for. Not a problem, though. If it's not there I won't be tempted to buy it. One more thing: They opened up a 'dollar store' version of the shop a few doors down. It has what you'd expect to find there.

Tony busts his butt running this store and makes sure that regulars are having fun and visitors are taken care of. Unlike some of the other gaming shops, you do not get a horrible mix of elitism or social ineptitude. Many of the regulars are married with kids and use this place to relax and have fun. Hardcore gamers mix with part-time hobbyists and rules arguments take a backseat to enjoyment. If you want to get into Warhammer, 40k, or Lord of the Rings wargaming? This is the place to start.

For in-store purchase, this is a fun go-to spot. Yes there're many online deals out there but if you want to avoid that, come on in. I'm familiar w/general pricings of the euro brands they offer and my fave smiley face app tends to go bonkers w/the cost. At times smiley face has the retail price but sadly many times it's higher, up to almost 80% - seems criminal. So having a place like this brings many back to reality. Remember the ones I favor are euro brands and what you see priced is the general retail price. And the current stock is what will be found w/in smiley face's app. The staff are easygoing too. They know what's going on so they're not surprised that folks shop here for those brands.
