They had a decent selection of anime, Hello Kitty, and Kpop items. I walked around and found some nice things to include in a gift. Based on some reviews I saw, I did expect a bigger Kpop section but it was pretty small. The store was cute, extremely well organized, and the person working at the register was so friendly. Some of the prices are a bit steep but I honestly expected that. The store is a nice little drive away but I would likely go back.

Just about everything except D&D figures--no big whoop!…read more So(!), was in the area the other day. Someone told me about this place years ago, never bothered till now. Managed to get there on a good day, easy parking. it's a small shopping center, y'know? Walking in, it literally was wall-to-wall vintage collectibles. Many still in their packages. Walking through it all brought a sense of nostalgia, but at the same time I felt a dull pain--in my wallet. Whatever your focus is, collecting can be expensive and time consuming. Star Wars, Barbie, He-Man, Star Trek (to a lesser extent)...DC/Marvel superheroes. Collectible toy cars (Hot wheels, etc.). There's a lot to look at. Some in their own package, some bagged specifically for the store. 85% of what's there are action figures and such. The rest is a mix of collectible comics, toy cars, and other odd bits. I'd say the prices are reasonable, though a handful of the limited edition collectibles (such as a Sideshow figure of Ghost Rider on his flaming bike) had prices which gave heart palpitations. Era-wise, I'd say the vast majority of toys there are mid-70's on. So there are toys related to "The Six Million Dollar Man", as an example. There were some older 50's era pieces as well. And, like i said, some comics. If I had more time to look I would've stayed longer, but time's the one thing I didn't have. Speaking of which, they were out of the one thing I was looking for. Not a problem, though. If it's not there I won't be tempted to buy it. One more thing: They opened up a 'dollar store' version of the shop a few doors down. It has what you'd expect to find there.

We are a vibrant community hub, hosting events, book clubs, and providing personalized reading services that deepen your connection with stories and fellow book lovers. We believe that everyone can find themselves in the pages of a book, and we're here to help you on that journey." You can clearly see that mission reflected as you walk around the store. The book selection, displays, and merchandise all demonstrate thoughtful attention to detail. Everything is well organized, making it easy to browse, and the staff is knowledgeable and happy to help with finding the right selection or suggesting information about upcoming events. They also offered to order certain books to store if they were not on the shelf! In regard to community outreach, their social media pages clearly communicate upcoming events and highlight their wide variety of book clubs. I attended the Dark Romance Book Club and was please with how well the store facilitated the discussion, especially given the large size of the group. Coming in for the meeting, chairs had already been placed out in a circle for members to sit. The conversation was engaging and well organized with employees asking questions that had clearly been researched beforehand. My only complaint is that parking can be scarce during busy hours such as book club events, particularly after snowfall when available spaces are more limited. Overall, I love visiting this bookstore. It has a lovely charm and a makes a wonderful connection with its customers. It is an asset to our local community as a small hub. I look forward to seeing how their small business grows. I felt comfortable to ask followup questions - I love to talk!

"I decked Flash...He wouldn't shut up and, without even thinking, I balled up my fist and...Principal Gorbert chewed us out. Said we were a bunch of selfish brats. Said tonight was for everyone, and we ruined it." Moments later, with tears running down her eyes, Liz makes a startling confession. "I care about you so much. You're my best friend, my sister. I try to think of what my life would be like without you in it, and it makes me sick inside." Liz pauses. "Your popularity and success, it's all great. It's what you deserve. I should be happy for you, right? And, I mean, in a way, I am, but...I needed desperately to be Homecoming Queen. Not because I am trying to feel superior to anyone, or because I have it coming to me. I needed it so...so maybe I could stop feeling like...I hate you." Eventually, the panels of the fourth issue of Sean McKeever and Takeshi Miyazawa's Mary Jane: Homecoming miniseries end in complete silence--with the two lifelong friends each riding one of the adjacent swings Liz seized for them in elementary school, but the words that Liz spoke before are what spark the imagination and trigger empathy, regret, anger, and love. This is a very diverse stitching shop, with supplies for counted cross stitch and needlepoint. They have a TON of patterns- of all kinds really, contemporary, classic, small, big, and everything in between. I love wandering the store because every single wall, pretty much every available space, is filled up with finished, beautifully-framed versions of many of the patterns they carry. There are rows and rows of DMC, Anchor, and many hand-dyed floss skeins. They have blending filament and beads, hoops, q-snaps, scroll frames, and notions of every kind. There are many Mill Hill kits and so much more I can't even list it all. I'm giving this store 5 stars no matter what, because they do an excellent job catering to such a fun craft and making sure to carry everything they can. If they don't have a pattern, they try to find it and will order it from you. Here are a few things to be aware of though- 1- They offer custom framing! However, it is VERY expensive, so just be aware of that cost when you're planning your project. I'm sure it's well worth it, but it definitely needs to be planned for ahead of time. Also it may take longer than the quoted 2-3 weeks to receive your framed, finished project. 2. They offer a lot of fabrics, with a large variety of type, count, and color. However, I have found that they tend to carry mostly neutral colors and subtle patterns. They do carry fabrics from Picture This Plus, and I can understand that they may have more difficulty selling brighter color ways from inventory, but I do wish they had at least some seasonally brighter, more vibrant options. I tend to order mine hand-dyed anyhow. I LOVE that they will help you figure out how much fabric you will need for your pattern, and they will cut the piece in a fat eighth, quarter, half, etc. Also, there are several small bins of sale and scrap fabric. I've managed to pick up several pieces of linen that I have on hand to stitch small projects and gifts from, for only a few dollars each! 3. Prices for many things such as floss, are not listed anywhere handy. You have to ask what the price is for many things, or just be prepared for the sticker shock when you didn't realize how quickly it would all add up! It's worth it though! 4. Leads me to my next point of feedback- things are slightly more expensive to purchase in the store than they can be found for online. I'm completely okay with this, because of the awesome customer service that comes along with it, and the convenience of being able to actually look through and put my hands on what I'm spending my money on. It's just something to be prepared for if you didn't know. I guess it's quite common for local needleshops to do this because there's just no way they can compete with the prices of a larger, online-only retailer. 5. Lastly the hours are very limited. I think it's open 10-4 most days, open one Sunday per month, and I believe they are open a little later on Thursdays. I understand that because it's a small shop, but I wish they'd extend their evening hours and maybe host some small events, stitching workshops/stitch-alongs, etc. (Just me, but I think they should team up with Sugar Bakers and have a stitching & sweets night!)
