I especially like the fact that they don't try to rush you or push anything onto you. They have a good selection of short boards, fish boards, fun shapes and long boards. They also have wet suits, apparel and even do rentals. You can also rent out a locker and walk right to the beach from the shop, which is only 2 short blocks away. The prices are very reasonable, and I'll definitely come back to get my next board. Make sure to come visit this place. Nigel and his crew will take care of you.

She was fitted for a size 1 ice skate and I was hesitant because I had just sized up her sneakers to 2s. I was assured there was plenty of room and deferred to them on it. Of course a month later she was complaining about them being too small. We came back to Peck's and they exchanged them for 2s and only subtracted $20 from the refund for her having worn them for a month. They had some scuffs and the insoles showed her feet print but they were otherwise in pristine condition. It was a better deal than I hoped for and I sincerely appreciate the accommodation of her growing feet. It goes to show how important customer service is because we will for sure be customers for life now (she really loves skating so it seems like we will stick with it, ha see what I did there?). I went to another shop first (not knowing about Pro Skateboard) and got a board built that was a complete hack job. I didn't want to go back there because A: they obviously don't know what they're doing, and B: I'd rather just find a reputable shop. That's where Pro Skateboard comes in. Found them online. Brought the lump of coal that the other shop called a skateboard in to see if they could fix it. The owner was there (Bob?) and a guy behind the counter (I forget your name, man.) they polished this thing into a diamond. No attempt at an up sell. No attitude about bringing a board in from another shop. They were friendly, professional, and highly skilled. Walked out with a board that is aces. So they didn't sell me this board- but anything my kid needs going forward will come from this shop. I'm also going to grab a board for myself to cruise around with the kid and I'll be buying it here. Prices are more than fair, but once again- the people here are what make the difference. At no point should bolts randomly fling off your bike while you going down the Brooklyn bridge going 24mph. I'm a high school student and I had to pay for my bike with my own money. I've been working since 10th grade to help my mom because she is a single parent so for me the loss of about 5k including repairs leave me without transportation as I can not afford to repair it at this point. I've spent 3.7k on a bike, this isn't including the repairs i had to pay over the span of a year which amount to at least 1.4k+ after random bolts detaching and motor failing, and as soon as the warranty expired my bike had a random electrical issue where the bike wouldn't accelerate. From the owner Pete: OK, where are you going? (Direct email sent from owner) 1- Last Mile NYC replaces all of the electronics on your bike. The cost of the parts and labor is $2910.54 2- Send your bike back to Super73. They will do their own diagnosis, and determine the issues and fix the problems. Unfortunately your bike is not under warranty, the cost of packing up and freighting your bike to and from Super73 will be around $1200. Plus their diagnostic fee, parts and labor. BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK.
