To explain my situation, I had a specific skate I wanted which was the UFR 90s in Black. I unfortunately did not see the disclaimer at the very bottom of the website that states " ***Please be advised that just because our website shows "In Stock" on a particular item does NOT mean that we have this product "In Stock" at our FL location. (Yes we relocated). We ship products from all over the country and beyond. We handle all client inquiries by email and will call you if necessary but we do not accept incoming calls. Use the above for contact. Contact us prior to returning any product to us or it may be denied. " So I went into this thinking that the UFR 90s in a size 40.5-41.5 was In-Stock to my very surprise and JUMPED on it. They are extremely hard to find right now and highly valued inline skates. This wonderful woman, Jennifer, reaches out and tells me that unfortunately it's not available. Just my luck I thought.. Jennifer then offers to checks the overseas vendors, which believe me, in today's customer service, is no small thing and also tells me that because I already paid for shipping, I don't need to pay for international or anything. It did take a couple days for them to check due to timing of it being close to the weekend but Jennifer came back to me and told me they had them! Immediately pressed the go button and 2 days later (Today), I have them in my possession! If you prefer a TLDR; Eastern Skating Supply (Jennifer) provide quality and superior customer service. If you see the item you want EMAIL info@easternskatingsupply.net first so you don't end up being surprised and get mad they don't have something you want (Be a decent human being). Lastly, Eastern Skating Supply is best value for customer service and pricing.

As a veteran family, we always appreciated the gesture--not because it was a huge savings, but because it showed support and appreciation for those who have served our country. I was surprised to learn that military discounts were apparently offered at the discretion of individual store managers rather than as a company-wide policy. If that's the case, then shame on the Brick, NJ store for choosing to discontinue this benefit. Our veterans and active-duty service members sacrifice their time, miss important moments with their families, and put their lives on the line to protect the freedoms we all enjoy. A small discount is a simple way to acknowledge and thank them for their service. While every business has the right to set its own policies, I believe supporting military members and veterans should be a priority. It's disappointing to see that recognition taken away.
