I did a whole lot of research before choosing a dumpster company for a small project. Grime Time offered me a rate that was considerably lower than some other companies (almost $100 cheaper than the high-end places). I asked if the rate included tax, and it didn't, but Kelly at GT noticed I was a first-time renter and gave me a discount that covered the tax and more. The dumpster was delivered at 8 a.m. on the scheduled day, and it was picked up promptly when the rental ended. Everything was smooth and efficient. Well ... everything was fine except a problem with the dumpster's pin, which controls the latch to open the door. I couldn't figure out how to get the door open, so I emailed Kelly, and -- I'm not exaggerating -- within 5 minutes a GT truck pulled up to fix the problem (which turned out to be jammed pin). It just so happened a truck was in the area, and Kelly diverted it to take care of my issue. This is a first-rate company that's both professional and affordable. Mother in law scheduled a dumpster and I had to get involved because all of the issues. Completely unreliable. First dumpster we ended up filling the first half of the day. She called and requested a pickup and an exchange for Thursday. Was told not an issue and would be done by the evening. Friday morning already taken off work and had people to help. Asked the neighbor and dumpster was not swapped. I called and was told they do not guarantee less than 24 hours and they would review the notes, check status and call back. After 30 min I call back and told it was changed from a Thursday to Saturday deliver. But they asked to have a Friday deliver but can't guarantee a time. Why tell someone Thursday and not do it? Whole operation seemed to have issues. Friday comes and goes with nothing done and the office is closed. Checked Saturday and it was finally swapped out. Talking with these people felt like I was in the movie idiocracy. read more

Until now I have never had a problem with Grime Time. First they delivered a dumpster that was not empty. I called to have it picked up 5 days early but the said the dump was running behind so they had to pick it up later. Then charged me for 2 extra days!! My tractor front end loader could only put waste towards the middle but the sides were way below top so figured it would shift and not be high in middle. Then it rained so things got soggy and the weight I guess became heavier. They double my price!! I don't believe it was as heavy as they said. 850 for 5 days for 20 yard?? Outrageous. Sent photos and complaint and owner wrote back that he would take off the $20 for the extra 2 days that was their mistake. And said he would take off another $70 because it did rain quite heavily. That is still not good enough and after referring all my workers and coworkers I'm afraid I can no longer use them or recommend them. I'm so dissatisfied and disappointed. And to now add to this story, They charged me $849.00 TWICE!!! I brought it to their attention and they demanded they did not. I had to write the owner to make the horrible extra charges go away. And demanded proof of weight. The extra $849 charge magically went away but no proof of weight. Now I will complain to BBB. read more

I have been working on a home remodel project over the past several months and rented Grime Time dumpsters on three separate occasions. I have been emptying a house from hoarders that I had to evict. Initially I got a 30 yard dumpster from someone else and there was no up charge - even though it was completely filled with mostly heavy furniture. I changed to this company because they offered larger dumpsters. I got several 40 yard dumpsters from this company, and there was well over $100 tacked on upon return which they said was due to being overweight. These dumpsters had been filled largely with plastic bags of trash since the previous tenant had not apparently used a trash service in years. Also, at one pick up, I was not able to meet them quickly when they arrived to be let in so I gave them the gate code. They said "of course they would not remember the number - so no need to worry. " The next time I ordered a dumpster from them, they said "couldn't they just use the gate code I had provided when the driver came to pick up the last time? " They did come on the day that they said they would come - whether it was to deliver or pick up. I would not rely on the time that they say that they will be there though. read more

If I could give SIX stars I would. Customer Support was excellent. The delivery/drop off and pick up was on time and fast. I was a bit anxious as I called several businesses for pricing and Grime Time was the most reasonably priced so I assumed there was a catch; I kept waiting for the hidden fees. There were none. The price was exactly as quoted. Both the delivery and pick up persons were kind and efficient. This was one of the most pleasant, easy business transactions we've done in a long time. We unfortunately had to rent a 20 yard dumpster to dispose of all of our belongings that molded in 2 leaky storage containers. Side note- do not use @getacoolbox they leak and the company is unresponsive. After their delivery driver released a rollaway dumpster into the front of our house and driving away, we were given nothing but the run around, evading and avoiding their responsibility! Their claims manager, Jason, sent us a check for the wrong amount with our name spelled wrong and then decided to disappear! There is $10,000 worth of damage done to our house and they have taken responsibility for NOTHING!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! First a review of the service. Rent a dumpster! I had a gargae full of crap, I'm looking at you cat pissed leather sectional, I thought I would get rid of myself. Mulitiple trips and illegally dumping my stuff in the apartments dumpster down the street and I gave up. 1 dumpster and 1 day is all it took when I called Grime Time. Also I saved money by calling Grime Time and providing my own dumpster for some construction work at the house. Look at your bid and you will see "removal fees". Then call Grime Time. The company. So simple. So easy. Customer service was on point and the we're very communicative. They even asked what side of the driveway I would prefer the dumpster on. A little thing but hugely appreciated. The driver even offered to help me move the pee pee couch. The drop off and pick up was smooth. I didn't even hear them drop off the dumpster. I woke up and there it was.
