I was looking for something quicker during lunch on a work day and saw this place on Yelp. The Grill Shack is a smaller place in a strip mall. I believe it replaced Factory Ice Cream. I actually walked past Grill Shack at first. The menu is a unique combination of middle eastern and American and includes fries and pizza. The combos are $2 more for fries and a 12oz soda can. The sandwiches are around $8-$10. I can only speak for the one item I had, the Cajun chicken, but it was better than maybe grilled chickens for $16 I've had at a restaurant. The decor and set up is somewhat odd. There's a thin row of tables that led to the back. This is great for work lunch. Not great for groups or a date or impressing the in laws.

This has been a book mark for a while and since it has so little reviews or pictures I thought that a Steve stop by was in order so I went over for lunch. The place is in a strip mall with plenty of parking. The menu is interesting because it has pizzas, sandwiches and Middle Eastern food so I went with the Philly cheesesteak sandwich. My sandwich came fast because I was the only person in the place. My first thought was that it didn't look right with the reddish hue to it for a Philly cheesesteak. My second thought after my first bite was that the bread was all wrong because it had a very chewy crust and soft inside that required extra bite effort which squeezed most of the meat right out of the sandwich, the melted cheese on the bottom only helped everything sliding out. The sandwich had a weird flavor like giardinera and it was very oily like maybe it's cooked in giardinera oil and it had melted American cheese in it, give us a cheese choice because it didn't work very well in the sandwich. This was the weirdest Philly cheesesteak sandwich that I have had and it didn't satisfy my crave for a Philly cheesesteak at all and I would never order it again and get something different.

Awesome food! Placed an order to go! Hummus is the best around, simply great! polish sausage was excellent along with a small Greek salad! Customer service by the owner was superb-down to earth and nicest person in the industry!

Food was hot. Best tabouleh I have had in a while. Chicken shawarma was moist and well seasoned. We drove all the way over from Brookfield. Worth the drive for good Mediterranean.

What a great find!…read more We're in town from Illinois for a baseball tournament and stopped by Oak Creek Diner for breakfast. From the moment we walked in, we knew we'd found a local favorite. The counter service was a great bonus and gave the place that classic diner feel. Everything we ordered was fantastic. The corned beef hash was some of the best we've had, the Western omelette was loaded with fresh ingredients, and the meat lovers skillet was hearty, packed with bacon, sausage, ham, and plenty of flavor. Every plate came out hot, the portions were generous, and everything was cooked just right. Friendly service, great food, and a classic diner atmosphere. If you're in the Oak Creek area, whether you're a local or just passing through like we were, this place is absolutely worth the stop. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in town!

This is a solid breakfast spot and every table was in service towards the end of our meals. We had a chili cheese omelette and the country fried steak breakfast. I had the country fried steak this time but I did have the chili cheese omelette on my last visit and I didn't snap any pictures because a customer had a medical emergency and an ambulance and fire truck came to the restaurant but I remember liking it. The decor is nothing fancy but it's not a dive with over priced omelets like my breakfast experience, look at my last review. The country fried steak was noticeably bigger than most places around town except for NA cafe which is a real country steak and I just expected a frozen restaurant supply quality. It was golden brown with that commercial sausage gravy which is the norm for 99% of breakfast restaurants around town so I'm not going to knock them on that because I'm a country fried steak guy all my life. The sunny side up eggs were cooked perfectly. The extra crispy hash browns were cooked perfectly and the sourdough toast was better than the average restaurant where you couldn't tell if it was white or sourdough with that chew. Overall it's a solid breakfast spot with all my visits and at $13 it's $9 cheaper than my last breakfast experience at a dive restaurant and hits the spot.

The deviled eggs were easily our favorite and are an absolute must-order. We also loved the flatbread with fiddleheads, which featured a delicious curry-inspired flavor that reminded us of an Indian dish. My husband couldn't stop talking about the bread pudding and said it was one of the best desserts he's had. Everything we tried was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. Our server, Adam, was quick and attentive. He was funny, suggested items for us to try, and was very tentative of our friend's food allergy. We started the night with a few drinks; #39 non-alcoholic Paloma, #129 non-alcoholic sbagiato, and #33 Sherry Pear-Y. All of which were absolutely amazing! Then we ordered the Chili Crisp Deviled Eggs (comes with two pieces), Crispy Thai-Style Oyster Mushrooms, Cappelletti, Slow-braised Bison Cheek, Cha Ca La Vong (Catfish), and the Wood-fired Bavette Steak. Where do I begin? First off, everything was fantastic! Delicious, creative, and memorable. Some dishes even had us ordering seconds! First the Chili Crisp Deviled Eggs: so creamy! We ended up ordering another plate of them (four orders) because one wasn't enough for the four of us. The Crispy Thai-Style Oyster Mushroom: insanely seasoned! It was crispy and the kick of the Thai chili peppers, made it our tables favorite (we ordered another plate of this)! The bits of crunch rice mixed in was also a pleasant surprise. The bits of green beans and cucumber was a nice way to cool the kick of the spices. The Slow-braised Bison Cheek: It was very interesting. Very soft and when paired with the polenta cake, mozzarella, and carrot, it tasted amazing. Cha Ca La Vong (Catfish): Also very interesting. It tastes very similar to a Vietnamese catfish soup! The pineapple fish sauce paired amazing with the glass noodles. The only complaint I have about this dish, was that the glass noodles weren't fully cooked, so they were a bit hard. The Wood-fired Bavette Steak: My god, this was amazing! It was perfectly cooked, the dark chocolate bordelaise paired with the mushrooms and steak was incredible. Like I said, everything was amazing! Our table was blown away with the creativity and quality of the food. The service was amazing, everyone was very sweet and helpful. The atmosphere was lovely and quirky. It was fun spotting all the duck decorations. Honestly, cannot rave enough about this place, I look forward to the next time I visit!
