We had a business-like conversation about how the rainwater filtration and distribution could work; we talked about the costs. We agreed on a direction. The crew showed up on time, worked hard, finished the work and provided an as-built drawing afterward. Work was entirely professional and went well. I'd work with Greywater Corps again. read more

Jake and the team at Greywater were fantastic from start to finish. Super easy to talk to, and really tight and efficient on the install which was tricky. They took tremendous care working around our existing plants and made the whole process smooth and seamless. Can't recommend more enthusiastically! The best! read more

I just had an amazing experience with Greywater Corps and now I am helping the planet, too! From my initial consult, to booking the work and then having it done, I had such a refreshing, positive experience with Greywater Corps and their awesome team! They helped me select the right rainwater capture system for my home in mid-Wilshire and installed it quickly and efficiently. Now I am ready for the winter rains and look forward to reducing my use of water that we desperately need to preserve for the planet. I cannot recommend more highly the professionalism and effectiveness of Greywater. A big thank you to each of them for restoring my faith in my fellow small owned business that share my core values! Now I can join you as a global citizen that cares about sustainability! read more

Greywater Corps - Our new 530 gallon rainwater capture system, neatly tucked away along our side walkway, ready to help us save water! - Plumbing Near Me - Los Angeles, California

Professional, friendly, they explain everything really well, and the system works great.

If you want to be ecologically conscientious, feel guilty about taking showers and basically using any water in a desert - then Greywater Corps is for you! Plus there's great to work with and are good human beings. read more

Leigh and his team did a great job installing a greywater system for my backyard. I wanted something a bit complicated (to use my shower water to feed my plants, but at different rates around the yard, and all controlled by a switch in my bathroom). They provided detailed plans and worked on the project for well over a month and were quite diligent. I am shocked by how few homes in So. Cal. have greywater systems, even as water rates climb every year and global warming worsens drought conditions. Do your part: Go Grey! read more

Some years back Grewater Corps installed an extensive system for us. It runs from multiple sources in our house, and is switchable from graywater to sewage. It was very tough work for their team, and they tackled it. We love the system and heavily use it. In the years since, we've had one problem with the system, which I resolved myself. It's worth noting here in case others can be smarter for it. The laundry room portion of the graywater / sewage valve system they installed had too much hose & pipe run in the above-floor portion of the circuit, causing excessive hose water to drain back down into the clothes washer. This frequently resulted in aborted wash cycles and error codes. This problem only surfaced with our new washer. The older unit was more tolerant of excess drain-back and did not have this issue (but sometimes had spin cycles that were quite wet in the end.) A factory washer appliance tech came out, inspected and tested our brand new unit, and found no errors in the washer unit. He then advised me that the drain hose situation introduced by the graywater modification was likely causing the washer malfunctions. I inspected the valve, hoses and pipe -- they were clear of obstruction and functioning correctly. They simply had too much run length before getting to the sewer stand pipe and gray water vertical pipe drops. As a result I had to completely remove the valve system installed by Greywater Corps, and run a much simpler double stand pipe arrangement where I just manually move the washer drain hose between the two, avoiding the longer runs where water used to build up. It works great, the problem is completely solved. It's worth mentioning another issue we had. Although I don't think it was a Greywater Corps installation problem, it did interact with their system in unpredictable ways that are worth noting. We had a mainline tree root sewage back up -- unrelated to anything Greywater Corps did. After a plumber cleared the mainline, we had a new problem surface a few days later. Apparently the mainline back-up had allowed solids to flow backwards and clog an upstream section of a secondary sewage pipe that branched to where the graywater system sewage connection was made. The result was that one sink would not drain in landscape mode, and when the bathtub drained in sewer mode, it back-flowed into our showers -- via Greywater Corps pipe layout -- and carried some trapped sewage with it. It was very confusing at first, but after crawling under the house and looking at the pipe layout, it was obvious what was happening. I was able to quickly snake out the offending secondary sewer clog from an existing clean-out port. This completely resolved the problem. I'm not saying Greywater Corps did not route their pipes correctly. I really don't know. I just know that when that secondary sewer drain pipe clogged, things got weird fast. So just know that when you interconnect a graywater system to a sewage system, it can sometimes yield surprises. In closing, they offer costly maintenance options for gray water systems they have installed. If you don't maintain the system - especially the basins, by clearing roots and re-mulching them often -- you will indeed have dirt and root clog problems in your basins. I just feel it's not a $100 an hour job. I do it myself at least once a year, sometimes twice. But don't skip it. read more

One of the last hurdles before we could pass final inspection for our home was the installation of overflow pipes from our legally required rain barrels to the street. We contacted Greywater Corps because they seemed to be one of the few groups with extensive experience on Los Angeles's Low Impact Development Stormwater Management requirements. When Leigh heard about our plight with trying to fulfill the LID requirements and how it was the last construction hurdle before we could move into our new home, he came out ASAP to review the site and provide a quote. The price was extremely within budget and affordable and he had a whole crew come out and install the overflow system for our water barrels. We can't thank Leigh enough for coming through for us so quickly and helping us move into our home. read more

We wanted to put in a greywater system since it is now legal and given Southern California's long term drought situation. Finding an experience greywater contractor is not easy, but after looking around for a while, we decided to go with these guys. They were really great to work with and put in a very good system. They came in under their price estimate. Only downside was that installation took slightly longer (perhaps a day or two) because of labor shortages (but that has been affecting everyone). Recently, I noticed that part of our yard was wet continuously. Wasn't sure if it was a broken irrigation pipe or a problem with the greywater system. They came promptly, fixed the problem quickly, and did it for free. They're great. read more

In Los Angeles it feels unfathomable to not use greywater in order to help support plantings. We were thrilled to be able to partner with Leigh and the team to make this happen when we moved to a new house. I hope others take advantage of this opportunity and call them. They couldn't be nicer. We are very happy. read more

Leigh, Joe and the rest of the crew at Greywater Corps are....simply phenomenal! Where do i start.....firstly i wanted a rainwater harvesting system installed in a VERY challenging site, my home. after doing some math on the roof, Joe and Leigh sighted a 1110gal storage tank in a VERY tight location on our hillside. i had a small retaining wall built after-which Greywater Corps came in a worked their magic....and magic it was! i had feeds coming in from several different points off our roof, many some distance from the tank, some LOWER than where the tank was located....and without going into all the intricacies....i can say they can make water run UP HILL without a pump!!! don't you try this at home my friends!!! our project was very complicated and time consuming, but Greywater Corps stayed on point, problem solved with care, and came in on budget. don't you try this at home friends! amazing! i must say, it is a beautiful install....the attention to detail, their craftsmanship and professionalism is second to none, very rare these days in the building profession....now my wife wants Phase II....a grey-water system! :) thank you again so very much Leigh, Joe and all at Greywater Corps....it was a pleasure working with you and we LOVE you!! terry & deirdre read more

Came out today to fix my pump that was cycling on and off. Prompt and fix was free because it was under warranty which I believe is the life of the pump. Always nice when the service stays amazing even after you've paid. Thanks Clay! read more

This is one of the coolest things I've done to my house since I've owned it. I found Greywater Corps because I had an idea that our family was wasting SO MUCH water, and after trying to rig a system myself, realized I needed to call in the professionals. Their work is top notch- clean, professionally looking, left no mess afterwards. They included instructions on using the laundry-to-landscape system in a way that even my kids can follow. Highly recommend. read more

We recently (mid December) had them install a grey water system in our home. We have septic system that is original to our house that was constantly being overwhelmed. We had our Washer, Bathtubs and Bathroom sinks diverted out into our front yard. So now we can take a nice long shower and know that our 70+ year pine tree and other plants are soaking up that water. We're going to add a couple citrus trees to our yard now to take advantage of the water. We'll end up saving money because we're watering the trees while washing our clothes. Leigh and the whole team at GreyWater Corps are amazing! They installed the system in 4 days. They were very professional and worked very efficiently. I wish I would have done this years ago. We are VERY happy with the work they did. We're not only re-using water but giving our septic system a much needed break. I would give them 10 stars if I could! read more

We are completely happy with the design and installation of our laundry to lawn greywater installation. From start to finish the process was professional. On the day of site work, the team was very careful to protect the inside of the house as they worked. In addition, the clean up was amazing. When they were finished you could not even tell where they had installed the mulch catch basins. We are beyond excited to be able to use water from the laundry to keep our trees in the front yard and parkway well hydrated. We highly recommend this company!! read more

We had to wait a little while for our installation because they are very busy -- a good sign! We could not be more pleased with the results. Not only does the system work extremely well, but our yard was left in great shape. Everyone who participated in the work was as nice as could be. Highest recommendation for this company. read more

While I didn't have any work done by this company, I was thrilled by their response. They were prompt, courteous and very informative. They talked to me over the phone about different ideas / options and what it might entail. Saved a lot of time because it turns out that what I had in mind won't work for my home. Great interaction! read more

Leigh, Joe, and the Greywater crew are fantastic. They're quick to respond, well-informed, and generally just good people. They built a comprehensive above-ground rainwater capture system for me about a year ago. They took all the on-site factors into account, designed a system quickly, and had it up and running as soon as the tanks were ready - they even tied it into the existing irrigation system and installed new hose outlets so I didn't have to use city water anywhere in the yard. (also, they build to code and can tell you about applicable rebates as well). The guys go above and beyond, too, diagnosing anything that seems amiss and suggesting improvements to help you get the best out of your system. When I ran into a problem several months after the build - a pump that became faulty - they were quick to respond and line up a replacement (under warranty, fortunately). The system is now in its second rainy season, and it's made a huge year-round difference. read more

Friendly people that do incredible work. From initial quote to final walk through, working with GreyWater Corps has been a delight. Super punctual and transparent about every cost, and willing to explain every part of the process to me. The best part is that they're excited about what they're doing! During the walk through they were identifying plants in my yard and giving me ideas for natives that will do well with the system. You can tell this is as much a labor of love as it is a well run business. 3 days of digging trenches in my backyard, but by the end you wouldn't even know they had been there. Cant recommend highly enough. read more

Greywater Corps converted a bathtub and shower into a greywater system for us. Everyone on the team was friendly, patient, and explained all of the details of the process. The whole project was finished professionally in three days. I'm very excited that our bathwater will now go to helping fruit trees and fragrant flowers grow, rather than being wasted into the sewer systerm. read more

Our avocado trees and lemon tree are flourishing now that every time we do our laundry, they get watered underground. Before, all that water was going to waste. The Greywater Corps system is ingenious. The installation only took a couple of days, and the crew were friendly, courteous and considerate of our time. I wish now we had had this done years ago. We are more than happy to be a reference, and show future customers the excellent work these guys did. We'd also let people know what's involved in living with the greywater system day-to-day: basically nothing - you can easily switch it off an on if you want to wash your clothes with something other than the regular recommended detergent. read more

We used Greywater Corp to install a greywater system at our home. We now water our fruit trees with our shower and laundry. This is a great company. We couldn't be happier with their service, from inking the contract to pulling the permits to doing the job and then getting it inspected and approved. The owner Leigh is knowledgeable and trustworthy and kept us updated at every step in the process. And the workers are wizards in their various fields and all seem committed to the goal of taking care of old mother earth (which my wife and I share). We're deeply appreciative for the hard work everyone-- Leigh, Joe, Vince, Charles, Rachel, Jeff- put in. If you want a greywater system, you could not find a better company to get this done for you. read more

Joe and the team are awesome! He came by for a consultation and gave me tons of details about ideas and things that can be done! I chose a relatively simple design for now which connects my bathroom and washing machine to 8 branches of water for 8 fruit trees, but hopefully in the future I can have a rain catch system too! They are SOOO professional and work really quick. They had to break up concrete and create a pathway under my house and did everything in 2 days!! I am super impressed! I am the second person in my family to have them install a greywater system and we are both really happy. I would highly recommend their services. read more

Greywater Corps installed a greywater system for our laundry room that irrigates four fruit trees in our backyard. Leigh and Voula were great from start to finish. They explained the system and installation process, worked around my schedule, helped me choose the trees, responded quickly to questions, etc. In short, they were knowledgeable, professional and accommodating. Installing a greywater system is a great way to conserve water, lower your water bill, reduce your energy/resource usage footprint and support green business. And for us, it was a great excuse to plant some trees that are about to produce lemons, limes, satsumas and grapefruit! I highly recommend Greywater Corps! read more

Leigh and Voula did a great job installing our laundry-to-landscape system. It works like a charm and I love showing it off to friends. Sometimes people assume we did it ourselves but I have to admit that we called in the professionals: Greywater Corps. We never could've done it so quickly and well, so it was worth the cost. Our tiny little fruit trees are getting bigger everyday and the established trees are looking perkier with the help of regular waterings. I feel great doing laundry and drying it on the clothesline. I definitely recommend their services. read more

Leigh and his crew were terrific, from start to finish. Professional and prompt, they installed a system that now re-routes the gray water from our washing machine - that would normally just be wasted down the drain - out into our backyard, providing irrigation for our citrus trees. 10,000 gallons a year!
