Showed me everything he did which literally fixed all the problems including the issue of my parkway sprinklers watering most of the neighborhood which every other sprinkler repair person said they couldn't give a good solution to for toning down those sprinklers. They definitely had experience and know-how about sprinklers and effectively repaired all of my broken pieces, along with providing grass-tips on how to revitalize and kick-start dead areas of grass. Two caveats: 1) Jim and Jill are typically booked because of how popular they are. So be ready to book them in advance for any projects. I wouldn't be so sure on securing them if something breaks and leaks while your sprinkler system is offline --call a 24hr service plumber instead. 2) Jim and Jill will give you verbal quote and it's an honest and trustworthy one. However you should probably treat this as an estimate, because during their repairs, they found a couple different problems with my sprinkler heads that they didn't anticipate and my price increased... just something to keep in mind; or get it in writing and have them sign that before they get to work, if you have a budget to keep. But it's not bad or anything-- they did a great job! - I'm giving an honest review, because most repair companies give a quote first in writing. SEBASTIAN IS THE REAL DEAL…read more.. Our sprinkler system was in need of some serious repair after years of neglect from the previous owners. There were multiple leaks, improperly programmed settings, bad heads and misdirecdted spray patterns. I was only in town for a couple of days and Sebastian came out with his team on a Sunday morning the day of the Superbowl to get the job done. Super huge gratefulness and appreciation for being accomodating. First he assessed the system and gave us an estimate as to how much he thought it would be to fix all of the issues. His quote was withing $100 of what we expected. We approved the work and they got started. Four hours later, Sebastian was walking us around, station by station, advising us what they fixed. They touched 90% of all the heads we have on lur system. Everything was perfect. He also added waterng lines to two potted plants we have so that we no longer had to manually water. Sebastian also helped us reset our controller, get it connected to WiFi again and he timed out the stations so we don't over water and to help save money on the watering bill. From the start we felt that we could trust Sebastain to do a great job, and he came through. We are totally, absolutely and completely satisfied. If you want professional service and a fair price be sure to call Sebastain! He also stands behind his work. I couldn't figure out why our underground lawn drip system stopped working in one part of our back…read moreyard, so I called Sprinkler Tech. In addition to the back yard problem, I had a number of smaller repairs needed in our traditional front-yard system. After taking a look, the guy who came out concluded that the 7 year-old system was at the end of its useful life, hopelessly plugged up by grass roots and that the only option was to replace the entire system and re-sod the entire back yard, a job which his boss would send me an estimate for. After that, I couldn't even get him to take a look at the repairs I needed in the front yard as he quickly left. After hand watering it for several months, I decided to take a closer look and realized that there was a puddle developing upstream of the problem area whenever the system came on. I spent about 30 minutes digging up that section where I found a hole in the line that caused a loss of pressure in the remainder of that line. I repaired the hole myself in less than an hour at a cost of $1.47 for a repair coupler at Home Depot. The system now works great again, and I was also able to make my own repairs to the front yard system that he wasn't interested in even looking at. I can't comment on how good their work is, but I'm not at all impressed with their ability to troubleshoot a problem or follow-through.
