Steve and his crew are regular people that treat others with kindness and respect not because they have to, but because that's who they are. They fixed a leaky pipe in my backyard without having to pull up my pavers and then they fixed a pipe in my front planter that solved low pressure on my drip lines. No fuss, no extra charges or unnecessary parts and labor. Steve's team obviously have deep knowledge and experience but what makes them so great is that they communicate clearly and are enjoyable to work with. Highly recommend them.

My personal experience is not good as on July 31 I had to get one of their trucks with trailer to pull over on the 405N freeway as some debris flew from their trailer and cracked my Lexus LX570 windshield. The driver Casildo Pineda was very nice and gave me the company business card but since then numerous phones messages, numerous emails along with photos of the damage and auto glass replacement invoice have been completely ignored. Not even the decency to share their vehicle insurance information. Its sad that I have to file a CHP report and take them to small claims court to get them to take care of this. So far they very low integrity.

Their estimator, Foster, was alongside me throughout the job process with any questions or concerns that I had. Before the job even began, he ran through several scenarios with me and was very patient. He understood my objectives both as they related to aesthetics and my pocketbook. In the end, we came up with a plan that was viable and as aesthetically pleasing as could be managed given the situation. Once the job began, the primary person of contact shifted to Julio, one of their project managers. He was on property every day supervising and working alongside his crew. The crew was very polite, hard-working and friendly. They were very well supported by Julio. This may seem like a given, but often it is not so it did stand out to me. Once all of the work was done, Julio gave me a final walk-through, showing me how the various components function and made certain that I did not have any lingering questions. I think there were two follow up visits after the work was completed in order to accomplish this. There was no point along the way where I felt like they were taking shortcuts, using materials that were inferior quality, or anything of that nature. Their concrete cuts were incredible, and I have seen some really bad cuts in my past. And they did a beautiful job with brick work, including redesigning some curved areas of brick that needed to be removed during the job. Veronica in the office was very helpful as well. All in all, having my work done by Professional Drainage Experts was a very positive experience and I give a hearty recommendation to them!

For the first time, I didn't have to provide any guidance. He and his crew arrived early and just went to work. When he was done, I did ask why a few things weren't trimmed, and for each he had an answer that made sense. Most importantly, I didn't have to ask him and go back and pull weeds that still remained or cut other things that should have been cut. On top of that, he trimmed my trees (small lemon and olive trees) way more than any other gardener before me, without my asking! Terrible experience. I've never left a bad review on yelp before, but our experience warrants it. We used this company for a new sprinkler system installation. We planned it in two phases: front yard and side yard, and we received quotes from them for each phase. After multiple discussions with both Richard and Sebastian about the fact that we had installed enough PVC under our sidewalks to run all the lines through the front yard, they began work for more than an hour before telling us they would have to charge us an extra $450. We didn't have an extra $450 to pay them, so we asked them to leave those lines alone and (expressly stated multiple times) that we would run those lines ourselves. They then chose to block our lines by running their sprinkler lines in a T directly in front of ours. We regret hiring this company. read more

i grade his work at a C at most…read more lets start with the good. his communication was great. texted and messaged on a timely manner. very good there. on the appointment time, he was on time. perfect there. the work on the other hand was not all there. he did not seem to care about the details of my request. in the request i mentioned i needed root pulls but also a clean up of all the debris and bugs and spider webs. when he arrived he said he didnt know about the items other than root pulling. now its in the request and i cant change that so its stated there for all to see. i did ask if it was ok since i have other people who would be able to do this job. he said he would do it. so he started. when he was done there was a ton of debris and even cobb webs as i stated needed cleaning up. he did reluctantly do the webs but the debris was still there. at this point he said it would take him all day to clean it. i did not know what else to say? btw he declared he was completed, quicker than i can make my scrabbled eggs. he spent less than 15minutes to do a C grade job (im really giving him curved grade. either way i paid him $100 for a 15 min job. i think the other people who can make that sort of pay are doctors, lawyers, and this guy. i had to do more work on it myself to complete what i paid him to do. i honestly would not recommend him. i included what it looks like and what he left uncleaned. mind you, its a very very small area. it didnt take me all day to complete it myself.
