SEBASTIAN IS THE REAL DEAL... Our sprinkler system was in need of some serious repair after years of neglect from the previous owners. There were multiple leaks, improperly programmed settings, bad heads and misdirecdted spray patterns. I was only in town for a couple of days and Sebastian came out with his team on a Sunday morning the day of the Superbowl to get the job done. Super huge gratefulness and appreciation for being accomodating. First he assessed the system and gave us an estimate as to how much he thought it would be to fix all of the issues. His quote was withing $100 of what we expected. We approved the work and they got started. Four hours later, Sebastian was walking us around, station by station, advising us what they fixed. They touched 90% of all the heads we have on lur system. Everything was perfect. He also added waterng lines to two potted plants we have so that we no longer had to manually water. Sebastian also helped us reset our controller, get it connected to WiFi again and he timed out the stations so we don't over water and to help save money on the watering bill. From the start we felt that we could trust Sebastain to do a great job, and he came through. We are totally, absolutely and completely satisfied. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Let me explain. I contacted the company to come out in April and fix a valve leak and replace a timer that was bad. Richard came out and "fixed" both problems. He charged me $280 for the repairs and "new" timer. A month later (June) my tenants moved out, so I went to the property to check on things. I noticed that the valve that he had "fixed" was still leaking. I contacted the company to have the valve looked at as it had only been a month since the repair had taken place. I was told that the earliest time slot they had available was in August, which wasn't ideal as our tenants would have already moved in at this point, but I accepted the date as I really had no other choice. In August, Richard came out to take a look at the valve and was EXTREMELY rude to me over the phone saying that this was not his problem and that he was going to charge me $85 for the service. I was not going to pay the money. He and I went back and forth and he finally said he would look at it free of charge but this would be the last time he ever comes to work at our property. At this point, he checked on the "fixed' valve and told my tenants that "it simply needed to be tightened." I found it interesting that this wasn't done in the first place since it was so "simple". However, I was happy for it to be fixed for our new tenants and not have to worry about the company moving forward. Oh, how I was wrong. Mr. Richard's horrible service once again reared it's head this past weekend when my tenants called to let me know that the new timer that was installed wasn't working. I ended up having to have my electrician go to the property to find out that the wiring he attached to the timer was not correct and the timer was no good (seems odd for being a "new" timer). After having to purchase a new timer and pay more even more money for the product and labor, I decided that I needed to write a review of this company so that people can hear the truth and avoid being ripped off by this scam of a company. If you choose to use Richard's Sprinkler Company, be forewarned that you're going to pay a lot of money for really horrible service. Not to mention, you might get verbally abused over the phone by an irate owner who claims to be an outstanding businessman. read more
