Greystone turned a potentially terrible move into a vacation-like experience! We had moved across country only 8 months prior and soon realized our new location didn't suit us at all. However the idea of packing up and leaving when we had barely finished UNpacking was particularly onerous. I fantasized about having a magic genie come over and make the move for us. I KNEW that would be impossible. However, on a bit of a lark I looked up full service movers and ran across Greystone. I contacted them thinking I was out of my mind, but within a few days I had my genie(s)! We met them at our house for a walkthrough and the next day a crew of very professional and pleasant guys came over and started packing. We got in our car and took off for the airbnb we had booked near our new home. That was it! We met them at our new house a few days later where they unloaded, unpacked and set up our new place. They even had hired a local gallery owner to come and hang all of our art. It was the easiest move ever and dealing with the Greystone folks made it actually pleasant! Who knew? Now you do! From beginning to end they were exceptional. The whole team was responsive, professional, and went above and beyond to make sure our move went smoothly. They use the same crew all the time so they worked well together and were obviously experts in how to pack, move, and unpack in the most helpful and careful manner. And having them cart away all the boxes at the end was so helpful. We were able to fully move in to our new house with only a few hours of work on the back end which was such a gift. They also arranged an art installer who was incredible - he had all my photos and artwork up in record time and they were all perfectly installed. I am extremely behind in writing this review, but if I could give 10 stars I would. The Greystone team helped pack, move, and unpack my family when we relocated from Los Angeles to the Bay Area in summer 2022. We have moved quite a bit over the years and have used professional movers in multiple cities around the country. This could have been one of our more stressful moves but the team made it the most seamless move ever! Mitzi and her team were a godsend for my family. They were incredibly organized, fast, thorough and amazing communicators. When our plans changed at the last minute, Mitzi was able to adjust and move in and organize our entire home without us present. We arrived to our new home and it looked better than we could have ever imagined! I cannot stress how valuable all of their services were for us. They treated our belongings like they were their own and allowed us to focus on our family and our professional jobs and removed all of the stress for us. An eighteen wheeler pulls in at 8:58. Project manager from SF came to NY to supervise. Pianos, a large guitar collection, 30 years of stuff--perfect. And at the height of the pandemic! This was hands-down the best moving experience I've had yet. I was very anxious about the move because I was downsizing from a 5000+ square foot house to a 2900 square foot location. I needed movers who could help me organize, donate items, cull items, store some items while the new house was under renovation, and move others immediately. Despite the complexity and moving parts, Greystone was flexible, helpful, and accomodating. Definitely worth the money. We were able to unpack and set the entire new location in ONE DAY--right before Thanksgiving. When I first received their mailer, I assumed their services were cost prohibitive. But when I got the estimate, it was not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. It is still a pricier option, but for busy people who can afford it, it is definitely worth it. With a buyer requesting a very short escrow, we had only days to get 10 years of personal effects and furniture moved to our new house. I was hopeful that Greystone could help organize a large move from our current home. I was initially put-off by the fact that they charge $100 to give an estimate, but I do understand their time has value. What I got for $100 is 30 minutes of the estimators time, and an estimate with minimal detail. The way they do their estimates is a base price plus extras. The base price was $14,650 but the list of extras could go up to any price they decided was appropriate to charge AFTER they move you. Save yourself $100 and just get a few estimates (for free) from other movers. read more

This service was made for someone just like me -- A delayed closing on a home and having to vacate the current property all while heading back to a location over 1000 miles away. Don't buy the other reviews. Pompous. Unprofessional. Wasted my time. I guess they are trying to cater to Hollywood elite. Called for a quote, scheduled with the owner. He called me the day before our appointment to reschedule for another day "that worked best for him". I told him that day I had contractors at my house and would be busy but if it was the only time it worked for him - okay. Well, he shows up doesn't even look at the contents of my home, doesn't set foot in any of the rooms, only the living room... and when my contractor interrupted to ask a quick question, he abruptly (and very rudely) said he needed to go - without looking at any of the rooms to give me a quote!!! He was at my home for 5 minutes. What a jerk for wasting my time. Obviously, this company is trying to cater to elite fancy to overcharge and rip off people. I guess my house wasn't expensive or large fancy enough for him and he didn't want to waste his time when there were super rich people he can gouge. Oh, well, I spent well over 13k to move and store with another company. This business owner will fail - because he has no clue how to run a business or treat potential customers. read more

An impromptu decision to transfer to San Diego, sell my house, buy a new home while still working off shifts full time left me with no time to spare for anything else. Unbelievable service. I was a little nervous about having "strangers" pack up our 7000 sq ft house because I didn't want to lose anything. (I didn't - woo hoo! In fact, I actually found things I had previously lost!) The packers and movers were so professional and used their brains (i.e. didn't wrap pencils in bubble wrap - they knew how to pack and transport things thoughtfully.) They always showed up on-time and had great attitudes. I loved the fact that they could help with all the details of a move, from donating items (large and small) to hanging a bike rack. I cannot recommend Rade and his team at Greystone Relocation Concierge enough! We were moving from a very tricky 3 story townhouse into a new home and needed a lot of help. We have two small children and I was unable to do anything move related at all. We needed full packing, moving and unpacking services. I am a control freak and giving up all this responsibility did not sit easily. Rade and David swept in and assured me that this very stressful situation was completely under control and I needn't worry - and they were right!
