Incredible! Would recommend to anyone! Have used them for my last two moves and everything went seamlessly

100/10! This company is responsive, communicates well, efficient, on time, and extremely careful with your belongings. They took care of our move within the timeframe we discussed and for a great price. Would recommend them to anyone who needs movers. read more

I could not have had a better moving experience other than with Hollymove, and they made sure my first professional moving experience in Los Angeles was as best as it could be. First, Nicolas and Jose were punctual, kind, courteous, and focused. They arrived 10 minutes early to set up, and introduced themselves to us and got acquainted with us. They paid a lot of attention to small details evident in the advanced wrapping of the furniture and other items we didn't want to get blemished, with blankets and tape as if they were packing and shipping them to across the country. We offered to help with our huge couch because we moved it into our apartment by ourselves, so we knew how incredibly difficult that was, but Nicolas and Jose insisted they would still do it themselves, including arranging the super heavy couch in our new apartment. By the way, our couch couldn't fully fit inside our new apartment's elevator, so Nicolas and Jose had to carry it up the stairs D: luckily it was only one flight of sizable stairs to which we exclaimed distress, but Nicolas laughed and said "don't worry it's apart of the job!" What a guy. I could not recommend Hollymove and Nicolas and Jose anymore than this because they treated our stuff as if it were their own. 5 stars. read more

HollyMove - Movers Near Me - Los Angeles, California

I've never hired movers before but this move happened so quickly i couldn't worry about packing everything up I tried to handle everything through messages and i wasn't getting a good feeling at first because i couldn't get an estimate due to no one knowing how truly long it'll take to move things. On the phone was a much better experience They showed up 5 mins early and my appointment was 7am on a Saturday. Already impressive. 2 workers came and cleaned out my studio apartment in an hour flat. 25 mile drive to my new apartment and unloaded everything in less than 2 hours total Was honestly shocked how efficient everything was, taking apart and putting back together my bed and moving all my furniture read more

HollyMove was by far the best movers we've used in LA. I've used MuraWay which was a 0 star experience after they damaged our units and property, went over the allotted time, and harassed us for leaving a bad review. I've also used Pure, which was fine but had a couple hiccups. HollyMove was a 10/10 experience every step of the way. Jose and Eduardo showed up early (didn't catch the other mover's name), and they were so friendly and efficient. Their team of 3 moved our 2 bedroom 2 bath unit across town and into the new unit in less than 3 hours. They had a solution for everything and clearly have lots of experience with moves. Even our most fragile of items came out unscathed. They were also just super nice and communicative, definitely honest guys. The owner, Brissa, is super communicative throughout the move. She even followed up after to get any feedback. I'm recommending HollyMove to everyone I know! read more

Hollymove movers were so amazing! They moved everything out of my 1 bedroom apartment so efficiently and safely. I never had movers help me move before but will continue to/would hire them again in a heart beat! On top of being here on time and making the move so smooth, they were also very kind. They responded to my request and all the questions I had extremely quickly. Would absolutely recommended 10/10 service all around :) pricing was also fair!!!!! read more

Nicholas and his team did an excellent job! They maintained a positive attitude even though the work was more than we all expected. We ended up having to break my move up into two days, but they were flexible in working it all out. They were careful with my items. All costs were as advertised. Thank you! read more

This was the first time I hired movers as I didn't want to go through the hassle of moving after a previously bad experience trying to move by myself. I asked for various quotes from different movers and eventually landed on HollyMove due to their fast response, clear communication and amazing price. They don't have sneaky fees like some other movers I quoted and were very accommodating with my situation. I had them help me move everything from one apartment to another and they were able to work diligently and pack everything with care and provided all the supplies such as moving blankets, tape, moving equipment, big truck and even wardrobe boxes. They moved quickly and did everything from disassembling to reassembling and were courteous to accommodate any requests I had. I had such a good experience I ended up engaging them again for a smaller project when I needed help moving a bulky items. I would highly recommend as they were on-time, flexible, and offered a great and competitive price. read more

We just completed our move with HollyMove a few hours and Nicolas, Jose and Benjamin were such a pleasure to work with. Brissa who gave me all information and coordinated the move also provided excellent customer service. They were very punctual - showed up 5 mins before our scheduled time and the moment they got the truck parked, it was go time. They wrapped our furniture in blankets, made sure we had wardrobe boxes we needed, dismounted the TV from our wall, and just kept going. Once we arrived at the new place, they carefully unloaded everything, unwrapped our furniture, installed our TV mount and made sure all boxes went to the right rooms. I'm so glad I gave HollyMove a chance, their rates were super reasonable, everyone was friendly and hardworking, and they made sure all of our things were taken care of. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to family & friends, and hire them again in the future! Thank you for all your help, Brissa, Nicolas, Jose, and Benjamin!! read more

This was one of the smoothest moves I have done. Nicholas and his partner did a fantastic job in handling my items. They were efficient and I was thrilled to get into my new place. This really was a great price for 2 movers and their truck, they had everything they needed to move my apartment. Thanks again! read more

We chose HollyMove because they had consistent 4 and 5 star reviews. We were hopeful due to this. Their hourly rate is quite low (perhaps it is too low?) We have a 3 bedroom apartment but we really only use two bedrooms. When we moved in, we hired movers for one day, and it took them about 5 hours to do the move, including packing the large items (furniture, TV, electronics), kitchen items, and miscellaneous small items. We told HollyMove we would pack all the clothing and books, which is most of the stuff we have - we wanted them to just pack the odds and ends and fragile items. What surprised us was when they said they thought the move would take a total of 2 full days - if there's one thing we dislike it is slow movers. We had that experience once where the movers moved at a glacial pace and it was frankly so frustrating to see that. We expect fast, fast service when we hire movers. Especially given that they are devoting three people to the move. We decided to go with a different mover who committed to doing the move in one day as we expected. read more

I don't leave reviews often but felt called to because this company made such a stressful situation, way less so! The crew showed up 10 minutes before they were supposed to, both of the guys were extremely nice and overly helpful! All around good vibes, hard work, and I felt very taken care of! I also felt like it was a very reasonable price... They went above and beyond, fitting my belongings like Tetris into my storage unit! I will absolutely be using them in the future and highly recommend them for your next move! Thank you Hollymove! read more

I had quite a lot to move and the movers did an absolutely amazing job! Everything was done in only 3 hours, and we even made a stop to pick up a couch! They were extremely fast and they really knew what they were doing. I trusted them completely, as they were super careful, and even asked if I needed additional help with things outside of the service requested! Not only were they super quick, at the service, they were really considerate. Went above and beyond and even did the move in the rain. This is one of the most affordable services I've seen, and I will be recommending to everyone I know! Thank you for everything! read more

I used HollyMove twice this past month for some serious furniture rearrangement in my current home. They were extremely prompt in their responses over Yelp to set the appointment, and the movers arrived on time and ready to go! The items were large, heavy, and fit tightly through doors and up/down stairways. The team were amazingly thorough, efficient and good natured with all they were asked to do. Highly recommend using them for any moving needs! They'll be my go-to from now on! read more

I'm not convinced that this is a real business. I texted their number and received a text response with a quote. Then I requested to confirm the details of my move via phone call. I called twice and left a voicemail. Then received another text response saying that they would call me after 5pm, then they never called. read more

Great movers at competitive pricing! I talked to several moved before going with HollyMove. I was initially hesitant due to the lower number of reviews but I would definitely recommend Holly Movers and go back to them when needed. The quality of customer service and handling my furniture was great throughout the entire process. They helping unwrap everything and set up where I wanted, including building a dining table. read more

Outstanding service, extremely professional, and kind, friendly moving team. I opted for the 3 movers and the base rate and had all my stuff wrapped and packed from my old place and unloaded into my new place in under 2 hours. Will definitely consider HollyMove for my next move!! read more

I did my deep research before I picked up HollyMove. After about 10 Quotes and talking to many movers, I decided to go with them. 1 - Very well managed and professional to deal with. Brissa reached out via text and then called when I requested to plan the move. 2 - I changed the pick-up time from 9 am to 7 am. They had no issues with it. 3 - The movers showed up at my address 5 minutes before time, i.e. 6:55 am. They did their stuff quickly, and I could see them enjoying their usual work day. That radiates a positive attitude. 5 - Both folks delivered my items safely to my new home and helped me set up a few things, as I didn't have tools then. 6 - The Quote I got from Brissa was very reasonable and transparent. They did not charge anything other than what we agreed. I decided to pay a tip to both Movers as I was impressed by their work. Thanks guys!. read more

Not gonna lie, I was nervous to hire a moving company with only 28 reviews. But everything turned out great I hired 3 guys for $120 per hour. It took us 6 hours but they mounted my curtains, tv and art. Really attentive and easy to work with! Highly recommend! read more

Super responsive on yelp. Reasonably priced. The two movers we had were efficient polite and nice.

Jose and his crew were great! They were so careful and efficient with our belongings and really made our move 1000 times better. The prices were great for the area and made it so we could focus our time and money on other things in regard to our move. There were a few miscommunication moments between us and the management, but issues were resolved quickly and they were overall very flexible with our schedule. I would highly recommend! read more

From start to finish the experience was great! Literally just got done with the move. Brissa was very responsive when talking about the move and got all the details needed. They were available on Sunday and their price was fair. Honestly the best I found in LA. Nicholas and Jose showed up a few minutes early and got right to work. They had boxes for me to throw a few things in that I had laying around and they made things very simple. Within the hour we pretty much got everything out of my studio and onto their truck. From there, they were really efficient moving things up stairs to my new apartment, they worked fairly quickly for the distance from the entrance to my apartment. Both of them were really kind and asked if I needed help with anything else like unboxing and so forth which I was fine to do on my own. Most definitely recommend this company. I had a great experience. read more

These guys were great. I made a move from DTLA to Hollywood and I got a lot of responses from my request on Yelp! However, something about HollyMove stood out to me and I'm definitely glad I went with them. The 3 men who moved us were fast, efferent, friendly and definitely took care of our items. They even moved a nearly 300 lbs floor mirror that I have that is always an issue when it needs to be transported. Can't recommend this company enough. read more

HollyMove is INCREDIBLE! We had the pleasure of working with Davíd, Nicolás, and José. Best guys out there. It was our first time to hire movers. In the past it's always been us and friends with an SUV or rented a U-Haul. Life's a little different now for us than it was back them and we wanted to try movers! We hired HollyMove for moving our big furniture pieces from a 1 bedroom apartment in west side LA to a 1 bedroom apartment downtown LA area. We chose these movers because not only did they offer the most competitive price out there, but they were also very responsive and professional throughout the process. Davíd, Nicolás, and José showed up on time at 8am and were done by 11am! We were most impressed by their skill, speed, and care with the job. They disassembled and reassembled our couch in minutes! They took care with each piece of furniture to make sure there was no damage to the furniture & our walls (which I definitely think I would have left more of a mark from our mount if I had taken it down myself). Literally the best experience we could have asked for. Thank you, HollyMove!! read more

I recently had a move done by Holly Move! They came prepared with all of the materials and everything that was needed! The guys were very nice and got to work right away. Overall it was a good experience however for me the service took much longer than I thought it would but that's completely on me as I underestimated how much stuff I had so I would recommend to hire 3 movers vs 2. I felt that the movers didn't tape my things until I had asked them to cover certain items. 2 of my items unfortunately got slightly damaged in the process, which was disappointing (my dining table had a significant chip on it and the leg of my bookshelf totally broke). Overall the price per hour was unbeatable by competitor moving companies but I think they need to make sure they are careful with moving items otherwise would have received 5 stars from me. read more

Nicholas and Jose were awesome, they were super friendly and prompt and careful with my belongings. We did a brief walkthrough to see what we were working off and him and Jose got right to it. They also had extra boxes that I ended up needing, which made the move so much smoother. They helped me pack up my kitchen since I was concerned about not properly wrapping my kitchenware. I also didn't have proper protection for my mattress, TV, or monitor and they took care of it for me. Once on-site, we realized that I had the wrong-sized storage unit so Nicholas helped me walk the different unit sizes to find the right size to limit the price increase. Definitely recommend this company, I plan to use them again once I move my items out of the storage unit. Brissa was a joy to work with as well, we scheduled everything through text, her team showed up right on time as she said they would, and they hustled the entire job. read more

This was easily the best, most efficient moving experience I've ever had. I've moved a handful of times across different cities, and when I moved out of my old apartment in KTown, which was up a few flights of stairs, into a ground level unit near Burbank, I did thorough Yelp research and landed on Hollymove based on reviews and the fact they weren't this massive moving company. Customer service was exceptional from the beginning research phase through the move itself. Shout out to Brissa for being a huge help! My rate for three movers for 4 hours was extremely reasonable and truly worth it. Once I walked my three movers through my furniture and what needed to be moved, they immediately got to work and knew exactly what to do. Even the smaller containers of more "random" items I had were taken care of! They brought wardrobe boxes for my remaining clothes and disassembled and then reassembled my bed with no problem. Highly, highly recommend! read more

Fast response from Brissa after submitting a quote in Yelp. Very reasonable pricing. Nicolas and Jose showed up on time on the day of move. They are very skilled movers with great attention to details on our items. The move involved a two bedrooms and a living room items plus a washer, dryer, a refrigerator, and many boxes. They were was able to dis-assemble the bed frames, the refrigerator door from the old place and re-assemble them without any issues in the new place. I was especially impressed with Nicolas's sense of humor of saying "it is too easy". It appears that nothing is too hard for him to conduct a smooth move, Overall, very happy with the service and their pricing. read more
