We went here this past weekend to watch a friend and his band, Low Hnaging Fruit, perform. Needless to say it was a fun time and they were great to listen to, and be entertained. Additionally, the food was delicious! I'm picky with French Onion Soup, but this one is really tasty! I also had cauliflower tacos - they were in spices and baked, and in a taco with cabbage, picked onions and a light zesty sweet/sour sauce. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his Shepherd's Pie - not served like a pie but in a skillet, and the meat was slow roasted. The young man serving us was newer to the business but he was closely supervised in a supportive manner, which was nice for him and the guests. First thing first they DO NOT accept reservations on yelp and haven't for months. We were lucky that they had room for us. We came on Father's Day with my Dad who came in from Delaware to join us. The food was solid. Both my Dad and I ordered crab cake sandwiches which contained a lot of crab meat and very little filler. My wife ordered the crispy Brussels sprouts which she enjoyed and a Rueben and fries which she said was 100% on point. I tried their flagship IPA A-Roundabout which was very good and for the ABV wasn't overpowering. This restaurant sits on a gorgeous golf course just off 15 and is close to Gettysburg if you don't mind a short drive. Greystone Brew House is an interesting "cousin" to the Greystone Public House in Harrisburg--they have the same ownership. The Brew House is located at the Range End Golf Course in Dillsburg, PA, innwhat is clearly a former country club-style building. Don't be fooled by the golf course origins as this is a very nice facility The Brew House has two levels, both with outdoor seating with a pleasant view of the course. The upper level is a large, very open, modern-style spot. The lower kevel is cozier and has a more rustic design. Both areas were stylish and immaculate. Brew House has s nice selection of drafts and features beers from Boneshire as well as other local priducers. Although my companion and I did not try the food, the menu had a nice variety of American fare. Service was fast, friendly, snd attentive. The one quirk I noted is that we had to enter frim the side or rear of the building. There's a portico with stairs and a prominent sign...but the entrance doors were locked during our visit. My wife and I dined here for lunch for the first time on Friday June 4. On the plus side this restaurant has a very nice outdoor "wrap around" patio that looks out over a golf course. Very scenic view. The patio dining is well shaded either with roofing or umbrellas. You are also allowed to bring your leashed dog along if you sit on the patio. There are no reservations for outdoor dining but reservations are available for the indoor dining spaces. We both ordered a crock of onion soup.... It was excellent. My wife ordered the small Greek salad which had very fresh greens but for some reason was lacking any feta cheese and for that matter no cheese at all? I ordered a large Caesar salad with a 6 ounce steak. Again the greens were very fresh and the Cesar salad was excellent. However, while the steak was done just the way I ordered (medium rare) unfortunately it contained quite a bit of fat and gristle... which I couldn't eat... About 15% to 20% of the steak had to be cut away and discarded. The service was OK... But not exceptional. Total cost with tax for the small salad, large salad with steak, 2 onion soups, one iced tea and one Diet Coke was $55 not including a tip. So... Based on the price, the average service, and the quality of the food I can only award three stars. I would've awarded four or five stars if the Greek salad actually had feta cheese in it, the 6 ounce steak wasn't fatty and gristly, and the service was exceptional. read more

One of my family's favorite places to go. Great views of the golf course, sometimes they have live music. It gets very busy on warm, sunny days, but the servers usually handle it well. The food is always good. They have a decent selection for vegetarians but I was really disappointed when they got rid of the impossible burger. It was one of my favorites. read more

I have visited Greystone many times because it is so nice to have a place like this in Dillsburg. However, I am always left wanting a little more. Disclaimer: I highly recommend their brunch menu! Reasonably priced and the food was really excellent. On the few other visits I've made for dinner and drinks, everything is average at best. First of all, the prices of entrees are very high for what you get. Because of this, we usually enjoy ordering a few different snacks and starters. One of my biggest complaints is the lack of consistency. The BBQ chips and blue cheese dip starter has always been one of my faves, but last time we went, it was chunky and the flavor was all wrong. We also ordered the new pear and apricot baked brie from their new fall menu, and it was disappointing as the Brie was not high quality and the jam pairings weren't as sweet as I wanted them to be. I will say - we ordered the Brussels which were very good and had great flavor. We each tried some cocktails from the new fall menu as well, and while the flavors are good, it is easy to tell right away that there isn't much alcohol in them. This is bothersome when I am paying around $10 for a drink. In the past, I've never had great service but we did have a good experience on this particular evening. I love sitting outside and overlooking the golf course. I do enjoy coming here, I just want it to be a consistently better experience in the future. read more

the food here was excellent. seriously, 5 stars because each thing we ordered was prepared well with fresh ingredients. beef stroganoff with eggs noodles that had to be made in house--they were that tender and rich. short ribs were cooked to perfection, seasoned well--not too salty!! bf said his pastrami sandwich was real pastrami. chips made in house and they were so good and crips, we saved some for breakfast the next morning. and the BUTTER LETTUCE. MY BOYFRIEND ATE A SALAD AND ENJOYED IT. Go for the golf and the crap soup and call it a day. The golf course is very nice and the staff is very attentive and friendly. The food on the other hand was mediocre at best. I started with the the Maryland crab soup and it was one of the best I ever had! My wife Had the French Onion soup and it was one of the worse we ever had. For the main course we both had two different steaks, I had the Prime Rib which was ok, lacked flavor. My wife had the NY Strip and it was a very poor quality. Very mealy and lacked flavor as well. Had very high hopes for a nice restaurant in the area but the steaks were closer to Hoss quality than a $100+ meal. read more

Perfect weather last Saturday to dine on the enclosed porch. Excellent attentive server. Nice variety on the menu. 2nd time there but first time eating. The four of us enjoyed French Onion soup, crab cake, Caesar Salad, Cuban and a burger. Not hungry enough for dinners. What we did order was enough to comfortably fill our bellies. We ladies did get dessert. The Chai pumpkin crème brûlée reminded me of the pumpkin out of a can and there wasn't enough crusty sugar coating nor did I detect the Chai flavor. And an interesting dessert of pumpkin crème brûlée with a coconut whipped cream topping was pretty yummy and quite different in flavors than the norm. Very nice setting at Range End Golf club. There are indoor and outdoor tables over looking the golf course. The servers are pleasant and efficient. Menu is not too big not too small. I had an house brew IPA that was served with a good head, the way fresh beer should served. Crab cake was nice on a brioche roll. I appreciate fresh cut fries, the portion was good but the fries them selves were not hot and too skinny for me. The 2% living wage fee is a bit strange and confusing. When servers PA only got a minimum wage of $2.85 an hour then a 20-25% tip was needed. I think now minimum wage in Pa is now $7.25 an hour. Is this what servers are now paid. So what is the correct tip? The real minimum wage in Central PA is $16- 18 and even this is not enough to live on given local housing costs. I was confused by the side entrance by the Pro Shop. What looks like the entrance with a ramp and disabled parking spots is not the entrance and was locked. Needs better signage. read more

Started out asking for the Apple bottom Moscow mule but they were out of cider so regular mule was offered. Mule came without garnish, which i guess is ok. Appetizer never came out until we asked about it when our food arrived. My dinner should have had coleslaw but didn't. When appetizer arrived, it had beets instead of chow chow which I don't like. The musician had a nice playlist and was talented but being 4 feet from the speaker...I was with 9 other people and couldn't even hear the person next to me. I left feeling exhausted and with a headache trying to strain to hear my family over the music. Having the music so loud it ruined my whole experience. We really enjoy eating here. We think the prices are a bit high, but worth it when the food is so delicious. We have eaten here numerous times and have never been disappointed. The original Greystone is one of our favorite places and the sister property Greystone Brew House lives up to the expectations. Enjoying a nice summer evening on the large deck with dinner and a beautiful view makes the excellent dinner flawless! The drinks options have something for everyone, and we have yet to try one we didn't like. If you like smoked meats you will love the tacos. (I admit I'm not a smoked meat fan). The burger never disappoints and the dessert options always has at least 1 thing I'm excited to try! This is one of our favorite local spots and it's just what Dillsburg needed. The renovations done are beautiful and the deck is gorgeous. We have been here several times since they opened and have only had 1 experience where the service wasn't great and it was on Christmas Eve. They had I'm sure a limited staff that evening and also a wedding party in the entire downstairs area which I am sure took up some of the staff. Our other experiences here are usually very good. The food is good, I would say a more trendy menu. My go to is the shrimp tacos which are always good. Their chips are really good and so are their homemade fries. They have amazing Poutine fries(Bring Back The Gravy!!!) they started using a Demi glaze instead of gravy and they are not as good so disappointing. Brussel Sprouts are out of this world. Their food is a bit pricey but we have always liked everything. Their beer list rotates and they have plenty of your standard domestic beer options as well. If your concerned about Covid all employees are wearing masks they have hand sanitizer located throughout the property. Guests going inside near the hostess need to have their temp checked and they require masks inside when you aren't seated at your table. Fantastic service and delicious food! Everything came out fast and the server was very attentive, would recommend for a nice night out!

I made reservations here because it was situated in between where I live and where an old coworker was going to be staying for the week. Upon arrival, I was greeted and quickly shown to my table. They had plenty of tables available downstairs, so it didn't look like a reservation was needed for dinner on a Tuesday. Well, my old coworker got the time of our meeting messed up, so I moved over to the bar, so I wouldn't be sitting alone for the hour. The bartender was very accommodating. The local crowd was welcoming, the drinks were perfect, and the specialty tacos for Taco Tuesday were delicious! Once my friend arrived, we also devoured the Brussel sprouts, which were better than those I have had a la carte at high end restaurants. I can't wait for an excuse to eat and hang out at the bar here again. It's an hour drive from my house, so it is unlikely that it will be a regular spot of mine. I would say the upstairs looked like a very family friendly environment. If you are an adult... head downstairs! More fun down there, and the Women's bathroom was very nice. read more

Everything was great till I received the bill. First off they over charged for the wine which they did correct then they put a living wage 2% on the bill. They say it's for the kitchen staff,an how do we know that. I think they should have inform you of this before the bill arrives. And give you the choice weather or not to tip the kitchen.
