Really good flavored lattes here. Hot or iced. Love the Maple, Lavender, and Rose so far. (Rose doesn't really taste like rose, but still a good flavor. To be fair, I don't think anyone has ever succeeded making a rose coffee latte that actually tastes like rose. This is as close as I've found so far.) Also, really cute outdoor seating area. This place was a really pleasant surprise. I went for a quick trip a few weeks back and only got coffee (which was good), but on a more recent trip I actually had time for a bagel and a coffee. The bagel was very tasty, and the herb cream cheese was kind of amazing; (I'm told it's made in-house.) Maybe the nicest part of this place is the staff. Everyone behind the counter was so nice and conversational, which is a plus in Queens where everyone is desperate to show you how tough and disinterested they are all the time. There's a fair amount of space inside to sit and study or work, the prices are good and there's a pleasant staff. Couldn't ask for much more. read more

Their espresso items are standard items. Their iced tea and ade items were pretty good. Also had their Açaí bowl and the toppings were nicely portioned. Couple cons: pretty loud, packed, açaí bowl base was very frozen, pricey drinks. read more

Since the new owners, who are extremely nice everything has improved. I was not a fan of their coffee before as sometimes it was over roasted and very bitter but since the new owners took over. Everything is extremely better, this is now my go to for coffee. read more

I have come here on/off for the past 5+ years since graduating college and have seen how it has changed through the years. I am impressed by how much they have expanded their menu as well as how they are now utilizing their space like creating an outdoor area postcovid. I come here often usually once a week, sometimes twice. Over the last few months I've noticed that a particular worker is constantly messing up my order and at this point it's getting frustrating. I always order the same drink. A medium iced hazelnut latte with 2 pumps of hazelnut and extra ice. Now, usually if he's not working I don't have to say "please do not mix it" because everyone else there makes the lattes how I particularly like them, which is the strong espresso sitting on top of the milk. (Which I later mix together once I'm a little more than half way through the drink) But when he's the one making my drink he always adds soo much milk and then mixes it all together which totally defeats the purpose and dilutes the entire drink and so it tastes like straight up milk and sugar, I can't even taste the espresso. I've mentioned it to him politely but it hasn't changed. I may be coming off picky but those of you who truly love espresso and coffee I'm sure you get what I'm saying. Not to mention when I'm being charged nearly $8 for a latte I expect it to be made correctly. Again, he's the only one who makes my drink that way. Everyone else does not. When they make it, it tastes like a true latte.. very strong espresso.. with just a hint of milk at the bottom. And they actually LISTEN to my order. Not only does he completely dilute the latte .. he doesn't listen to minor details. Example, today this was the 4th time this has happened. I went in and ordered my drink with him and then he made it. Not only did I not get 2 pumps of hazelnut like I ordered... my drink was extremely sweet unlike all other times. So clearly far more than 2 pumps. I also ordered extra ice and I got barely any ice at all. Literally a few ice cubes. Really? Then adds a tonnn of milk far more than usual and while handing me the drink he swirls it all around.. and mixes it all together. Basically did the complete opposite of everything I asked. I knew it wasn't going to be good and I took one sip and yet again... had no espresso taste just tasted like full on milk with a ton of sugar. I said this isn't how I ordered it but I have to get to work. And I was clearly annoyed. From now on I just simply won't be going if I see he's working and making the drinks. read more

First time visiting as I happened to be in the neighborhood getting my hair done. They seemed to have pretty decent outdoor seating although the tables were pretty close to each other. Indoor dining was back in effect so there was an option to sit indoors. I ordered their tea latte and got a ham and cheese croissant warmed up. Their cashiers were friendly and helpful when I asked about their drinks. I liked the tea latte a lot, strong aromatic tea flavor and not overly sweet. Their croissant was pretty standard but hit the spot when I was super hungry. I'll have to come back and try their other drinks. read more

Wow this place is so much better than browny !! They really upgraded and used their space efficiently. Pretty busy and can get crowded. It depends what time you come. Ive been here about 4 times and the weekends are always packed. I got their passion fruit tea it's so good ! 5/5. It's $6 but atleast the drink is good. Other cafe drinks are $6 and still bad... pros: they close late , have 2 bathrooms , the up stairs is a bit more quiet. Only Con: it's a little dark in the second floor area. My new go to study cafe! Ambience of the place is amazing! Ive seen it before when it was Browny but the aesthetics of Grey Cafe has truly made an astounding statement about what a cafe should look like. I love studying there but hopefully it doesn't get too crowded when people start finding about the renovation lol. Stopped by here after dinner with a group of friends (5) and they had a cute outdoor area with umbrellas and a little tent for group seating. It was the perfect spot to catch up with friends after a meal and all the lights and decor were a vibe. It's not super close to the streets or near the garbage so you feel safe and clean. The people working there were also super nice and accommodating to our group. The pineapple passion I had was a fruity soda type of drink that was refreshing and prices were similar to a starbucks refresher. Would definitely go back again if I'm in the area! read more

One of my favorite cafes to go to. I am here 4-5 days per week. The atmosphere is great! It's a great place to meet friends for coffee and also a great place to study/get work done. The coffee and tea are delicious. My regular drink is an iced mocha latte with almond milk and it is always made perfectly. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. They seem to take pride in knowing their customers. An awesome bonus is that they have a reward card and you receive a free coffee on your 10th purchase. I highly recommend. read more

Such a great place! Me and my friend came here to get some work done and they had outdoor seating available. The furniture was beautiful and they had nice umbrellas for shade. Great food, really awesome staff, plenty of seating and outlets, extremely clean and great AC. But if you're looking for a quiet place to study, I would not come here. I am not sure why the music was blasting so loud that I could feel the bass in my chest. Mind you it was 11 AM. I was also wearing noise canceling headphones but it wasn't enough to drown out the music. What made it worse was, the people next to me were talking so loud because they couldn't even hear each other over the music and they were sitting at least 3 feet away from each other at one table. I'm not the type to go out of my way to put up reviews often but had to for this place. My bf and I come here almost everyday since we discovered this place 2 months ago. I have yet to try something from the menu that I didn't like. Their flavors are on point without being overwhelmingly sweet. Their puddings are AMAZING! Their signature latte has such a unique flavor. The way Sunny greets all her customers is rare and keeps us coming back. The service here is always excellent!
