Lester our salesman worked with us and advised us that we should contact our insurance company . He provided us with a roof replacement estimate . They did my roof, paint (through an associated company, I think), siding repairs, gutters and new deck. Always seemed fair, were very easy to work with, and 2 years later I am still quite pleased with the results. In fact, they just came back out to fix a couple small items I noticed, for no charge, so it appears they stand behind their work quite well. On Super Bowl Sunday I had a roof leak that flooded my dining room. I called my original contractor and they were to "busy" to tarp or repair my leak. I called Gresham Roofing and they responded within an hour and professionally tarped my roof and sealed off the dining room ceiling. I had another roofing company install a new roof a couple weeks ago. Literally 4 days later, I had water pouring in through the garage from a leak in the new roof. Needless to say, I wanted a full inspection by someone who knew what they were doing to make sure we weren't going to have problems down the road. I called for an estimate. Someone answered. Seemed friendly and willing. I even got a call back the next day from a guy who said he'd be in my area and would come by. We discussed my availability and he said he'd be calling to schedule a visit within the next two days. It's now three weeks later and I never heard back. It is difficult to give a positive review when they couldn't even manage to follow through with scheduling an actual appointment at my house. Two years ago they fixed a leak in my roof and were great to work with. About a month ago the same exact leak happened again so I called them to take a look. I spoke with Lester and he said no problem he would schedule an appointment. Since then I have not heard back from him or anybody. Did not have a great experience with this company. Called in April to get a leaky skylight repaired and they couldn't come out until August which is okay because I understand how the winter storms tore everyone's roofs apart. After getting the initial estimate we sent in a deposit to have work done. After not hearing from anyone after three weeks called in to see when we could get a repairman out and was told it would not be until October. A little longer than I wanted, but fine, I understand they are busy. Come October still haven't heard from anyone so I call back several times to get a date to fix it. Told by Tara, who was actually very nice on the phone, that Lester their field operations guy would be in contact. Lester never calls after four to five attempts of being told he would be in contact over a two week period. Lester finally does get a hold of me after about two weeks and schedules a time to have his crew come out. The work order states the skylight is to be reflashed and they don't have any materials to reflash the roof when they arrive. They attempt to fix the leak anyways. After the next rain storm the roof leaks even worse. I call them to let them know the skylight still needs repair and I was told they would have someone out the next day. They never show up. Have requested my money back but will be shocked if that ever happens given their ability to follow through on anything thus far. The communication was and follow through by this company was very frustrating to deal with. read more

After the last storm where we had 2 inches of rain in five hours we had 3 surprise leaks in our roof filling . We starting calling roofing contractors and Gresham roofing was the first to answer there phone they explained they were experiencing a very high call volume and the soonest they could get to us would be the next day . Later that day we received a call from Nick and he informed us he would be able to be there at 8am the next morning. They showed up on time and inspected the roofing and found we had lost some roofing shingles near a roof vent. They repaired the roof the same day, but what impressed us the most is they crawled up in our attic and removed the wet insulation and replaced it with new. I would never have thought of that. Thank you Gresham Roofing and Construction for the quick response and the knowledge to perform the repairs correctly and keep our home dry and free from mold that might have formed if the insulation was never replaced. As a contractor, I have used Gresham Roofing on almost a dozen commercial sites for Skylight and solar tube installations. When the roof at my home in Gresham was damaged in a storm, I had Gresham Roofing replace it for me along with the old gutters. I'm glad other people have had such a good experience, that was not our case. The day in July they were suppose to show up, they called an hour before and cancelled for the next day. The next day I called to see where the estimator was and they forgot. I should of known then, but we needed a new roof. Later that day I got the estimate,and receptionist called set a date for 9/19 I asked if I needed to send a check, she said not at this time. She called back and said the contractor can't come that day and will call me. I called on 9/23 and was told they would call me. Today I called and they can come in November. That's just when Oregonians want to put on a new roof. They may do great work, when they get there, but my experience was BAD. I would not recommend them, unless you call in January. Oh I got a lot of excuses, the receptionist was fired, there was a fire in the gorge. I normally do not bother with reviews but this time I was strung a long enough to get mad. read more
