Don't know what's going on with this place ..have ordered in the past and the food has been great ...always hot and spot on as to the way it was ordered ...the past couple of times the food is way off ...don't know if they sold out or changed the cook but the difference can be seen and tasted .ordered a pizza the last couple of times and the food was delivered somewhat hot but the bottom of the pizza is "wet" ..the chorizo was cooked enough to have crispy edges and the outside crust is crispy but the main portion of the pizza is awful ..the toppings slide off with the cheese because the dough isn't cooked enough ...I mean this isn't rocket science to make a decent pizza ..I don't really know how many people like wet dough but I don't ...you tell them crispy and they just cook it the way they want anyway ..really disappointing that the bad orders are starting to catch up with the good orders ..they really need to look at the direction they are going or the reputation of their food on this island will start to hurt them ...the delivery drivers comment on the tip amount at 20% saying to me " no good food no good tip " no idea of what that means but was really telling ... read more

Your food is good. Your humans are bad. Asked the person who answered the phone what the difference between the box and dinners were & got no explanation. Ordered the box with extra crispy fries, was told nothing about it coming with no fries & then got the box.... with no fries. Called back and asked why we didn't get fries, they said they'd send some. You did - and made us pay for them. They were cold & soggy mashed potatoes. read more

I ordered from Greg's once a week for over 2 months. But, I came home from a long weekend with no food in the house. I placed an order at 6, with expected delivered at 7:45. At 9:15, I finally got a call saying they were here with my order. They refused to credit my card, which included a delivery fee and 20 percent tip. BIGGEST RIPOFF EVER!!!!! I loved the ability to order food on line. Great selection, good, not great food. But, they have now just ripped me off!!! I have to say this place and sevice is Terrible!!! read more

We absolutely love this pizza!!! It's never greasy and we consider it some of the best pizza we've ever had.

Great food! Big portions! Everyone got something different from salads to burgers to grilled chicken. All fantastic. Delivery was quick too - even faster than their estimate. Will definitely try them again. Looking forward to sampling more of their huge menu. read more

New to the area, and decided to try Greg's last night without doing much research. No complaints on delivery or delivery time - food came relatively quickly and warm and driver listened to my contact-less request. It wasn't the best pizza I've ever had, but it wasn't terrible either. I think maybe I just didn't order the right kind. The bbq chicken tasted pretty sauce-less. More or less like a chicken pizza. I keep trying to like this place, but I can't. The central location and free parking are good, so I go back, again & again...and I ALWAYS regret it. The problem is the food is awful. The onion rings dripping in grease. The chicken parmesan (frozen patty) was so overcooked it was inedible. I do like the meatball sub but even that is dry (always ask for extra sauce on the side). Pizza is the worst in Gloucester, tastes like cardboard. There is great pizza in Gloucester, just not here. Too bad they don't know how to cook or make tasty food, because the place is right by the train stop. They need to up their game with the food if they want to bring the business in. Ordered from here using the "Grubhub" app. Food was here quicker than predicted delivery time. About 35 mins total. Pizza was good. Best pizza I've had in Gloucester after moving here a few months ago. Mozzarella sticks were also very good. 4 stars because I have not tried enough food here yet. I will update when ordering from there again. Only complaint is a two dollar delivery charge for any size order- and you gotta tip the driver on top of that. read more

Had heard good things so decided to try it. Got a small meat lovers pizza and an order of Buffalo tenders. The pizza was pretty tasty liked it very much. The Buffalo tenders were also great just one small issue they only give you a small container of blue cheese with several pks of duck sauce, id opt for no duck sauce and an extra blue cheese. Great place to sit down and have a bite or grab to go. It has changed hands so many times that the online information hasn't matched up in several years. The new owner, Greg, seems to be in it for the long haul, though. The food is always on point and the service is mostly good (minus one inattentive employee who works the counter). The guys who are cooking always seem happy, though and the atmosphere is good for a sub shop. The bathrooms are always clean and the service is faster than most of the shops in town read more

Tried Greg's due to Grubhub's offer of $7 off for first time users. When I ordered over the phone, the girl keep talking away from the phone so I couldn't hear her. As a result, I got some attitude. Arrived with the coupon which the owner did not accept as he said that I had to order online to get the discount So I didn't get the money off,but was not upset as I figured it was my fault. When arriving home with the food, my wife had a grilled chicken salad that had no dressing in it or in the bag. Now I call that a dry salad!! The medium size roast beef sandwich had a lot of meat but very little sauce so that too was an unsatisfactory item. The pita bread with the salad was inferior although my wife said it was a good salad. I called the place to complain and finally got to talk to the owner again. He said he would send me the dressing but I told him it was too late and that I wasn't coming back. He was not nice and continually tried to talk over me. Don't go here. Rude owner and and staff. This is a small, "out of the way place" across from the train station but otherwise not as well-known as some other restaurants in town. And there have been other restaurants there in the past that I was not crazy about. However, Greg's is a real find and a keeper! The staff are always in a good mood and super friendly and the owner is working with them side by side. The food is delicious and the prices fair, actually more than fair, very affordable. I have heard about their delicious breakfast sausage roll but have not tried it yet because I am counting calories. I also gave it only 4 starts only because I have not tried enough things to give it 5 stars yet. I will update this after my next visit. read more

Great Place to eat!! I actually stopped there because of a time constraint & now im a regular customer. Portions were large, food was fresh & great tasting, was treated great by employees.
