Surprisingly did not like this place as much as I thought! The order juice was not good. The tots were good but the eggs were not good and it just left me feeling sick.

Greg's is located on Main Street Manyunk but a hidden gem at the end. They just reopened not long ago due to the flooding from the hurricane. Anywho... it's a small but mighty breakfast spot. I have had every breakfast place in Manyunk/ roxborough... Greg's has earned the #1. Several compliments and reasons you should take a visit to this hidden gem. 1. The food is great 2. Portions are worth the $$ 3. The service is Friendly 4. Good amount of options to choose from 5. THE CHALLAH FRENCH TOAST... no more explanation needed. Give them a visit, it's a small location so be prepared to wait or get takeout.

Sure you can make breakfast at home, at times it may even taste better than the restaurant. But is it really worth the time, energy, and clean up? Probably not.. So why not just leave everything to Greg. Even though this dinner is very small, the food portions is Huge. I always enjoy a breakfast that is clean and not greasy. Greg's food is prepared just like I like it. The french toast (2 Challah bread slices) was nice and thick. I like the fact they offer real maple syrup (out of stock at the moment). They do offer soy milk for non dairy alternatives. Hopefully they add other options such as oatmilk. I strongly suggest trying this place out, the breakfast was wonderful.

Posted business hours as of 1/10/23. We arrived at noon only to find out they are now closed on Tuesdays.

Incredibly disappointed. Drove my daughter back to school today from Harrisburg and bypassed many restaurants specifically to come here, only to discover they are apparently closed on Tuesday. Their website, Yelp, and Google all indicated they are open Tuesday through Sunday. At least update your business hours on your website!

Italian Pork Brekky

I was a regular before (2017) I moved out of the area. The pre covid menu was small, simple and absolutely delicious. I drove out of my way for this place when I saw it's open. The menu expanded a lot from last time I was here. There's a lot more options, and there's a lunch menu! The restaurant is the same. Tiny space set up for groups of 2 or 4. Same friendly service. Very prompt. This place still fills up before 8:30 I ordered the pork brekky bowl. From the last time I ordered here, there's less tots and more egg/fillings. The tots are still perfect. They stay crunchy even being smothered by the toppings. The port was tasty and the eggs were perfect.

Greg's is a small place, not much seating but extremely cozy if you get there and are able to find a seat. The service is amazing, and the food came out super fast. It was all delicious and they piled on the berries on the french toast! Good food for the prices.

A cute, home-y brunch place that is super affordable. My friends and I came here at 9:30 am on a Wednesday, so street parking was not a problem and we did not have to wait to be seated. FOOD: Almost all of the items on the menu are below $10, which is crazy to find at a brunch place. They don't skimp on portion size either ! The pancakes are LARGE and will definitely fill you up. The same goes for the brekky bowls that have a layer of the best tater tots I have even eaten as the base of the bowl. They are perfectly seasoned and are all crispy. Honestly, I would even come just for the tater tots alone. I ordered the smokey brekky ($9) that had 3 eggs, sausage, cheese and sriracha. 10/10 would recommend and I was stuffed! Bottom line: Come here. Get everything, but most importantly, get tots in some shape or form.

pictured is the tator tots which were super crispy and well seasoned, and the egg and cheese which was well cooked and had a perfect egg- cheese ratio.

Came in and were told the wait would be 30 mins which is fine, then the cook told us we needed to get out if we already put our name in because there wasn't room for us to wait inside. So we ( four year old in tow) outside into the chilly rain and walked to a coffee shop. Came back 30 minutes later and they said that if we could squeeze our toddler in between us it would be another 15 minutes. So we squeezed into a table that had been open the whole time and ordered. Waitresses were very wonderful. Food: Challah French toast: okay dry on the inside not much flavor Egg and cheese croissant: good, I mean it was good but the croissant wasn't very fresh or special. Tater tots: good not worth the hype Mannyoink omelette: good Brekkie bowl: good

Greg's is a nice local spot which made me feel like I was walking in to my local spot in California. Friendly staff and a nice selection of dishes we went for the omelette with taters and toast. Egg white omelette was fluffy and full of spinach, mushroom, onions and bacon. It was a very good portion as were the tots. The tots were my favorite part of the meal. Super crispy and wonderfully brown outside shell with a tender and not greasy inside. It is like the Lay's potato chip slogan "bet ya can't eat just one" and you cannot. Just great! I had a side of the hash which was a little disappointing as it was just mashed up taters and some chunks of corned beef cubes. I would skip this one in the future as it's really redundant considering you get any meat you want and tots with your breakfast. I did like the Cholula Hot Sauce provide as well as Sriracha and Tabasco. The multi-grain toast was very good and hearty and toasted perfectly. I will definitely come back next time I am in Manayunk PA. 4 stars

Just knocking off one star because for a $5.75 latte, they only filled the glass halfway up. I also got one of their famous pistachio sticky bun to take to go!

This was my first time actually trying it and it definitely lived up to the hype of the Yelp reviews. My wrap had chicken, hummus, lettuce, and feta, and it was so delicious. My chicken was very good, very tender and seasoned well. It also had a great creamy hummus to tie all the other ingredients together. The feta added just enough saltiness to balance out the rest of the flavors. All of the ingredients were very fresh, and my wrap was extremely soft, yet still maintained its form completely as I ate. I also ordered a Nutella hot chocolate. It was delicious! It was my fist time having a Nutella hot Chocolate. I usually just get a normal hot chocolate. The pita chips served as an additional side item with this sandwich and proved to be quite enjoyable. The pita chips had a good crunch and were able to pair with the wrap very well. I ended up eating all of the pita chips! It was a great lunch and I enjoyed my wrap! I would likely order from Café Square One again in the future, especially, if that wrap is still on their menu!

The strawberry French toast is topped with roasted strawberries, cream cheese icing, and sliced almonds. It was super filling with generous portions and just the right balance of sweetness. 2. The crab omelet with grilled onions, local mushrooms, and béarnaise sauce. A unique combination that oddly worked really well together. 3. The classic two-egg breakfast with crispy potatoes and a biscuit. Simple and a great traditional option. Overall, Urban Farmer is a great place to grab breakfast in Philly, whether you're visiting or local.

Dear reader, We went…read moreto City Tap in Philly with a large group just for drinks and had a thoroughly good time. The $10 martinis on Friday were an excellent deal and definitely one of the highlights of the evening. A well-priced martini always sets a promising tone, and these did exactly that. The bartenders were helpful and kept things moving impressively well, even with a group our size, which was much appreciated. The space itself is huge and very clean, with plenty of tables and seating, so it was easy for everyone to spread out, settle in, and enjoy themselves without feeling packed in. A major point in its favour is the setup for watching sports. They have a massive wall of TV screens, plus more TVs throughout the space, which made it very easy to keep up with multiple games at once. No awkward craning for a view, no fighting for the one good seat, just a very solid setup for a group outing. Overall, it was a fun experience and very much in line with the good times we have had at other City Tap locations in DC. A lively, well-run spot for drinks and groups, and one we would happily return to.

We ordered the ten-spice wings- and a gluten-free pizza- both were hearty, delicious, well-flavored devourable. The flight price on the menu says $14 for a local flight, but this has changed- it's priced per beer- viewable on Untapped App- so a flight is more like $18-20, because of the increased price- I opted for a pint, but the bartender was super friendly about allowing a few sip samples before deciding. The place had a great ambiance- the bar had sports tvs playing, the side tables had very happy hour chat vibe, and the back tables had a more intimate feeling. Overall, would recommend- it was a nice experience.
