Currently sitting at Gregory's near the Charging Bull and it's chill in here. They took our order and drinks came out quickly. Fall Out Boy is one of their originals and it's really good! Reminds me of an horchata latte a bit but with more flavor variety. My son is having the strawberry hibiscus and it's refreshing and delicious. I recommend trying both! read more

When the line for Liberty Bagels a few doors down is insanely long... it's not a bad idea to get some Gregorys to drink while waiting. Good sized coffee shop at the financial district, right where the charging bull is at. Few indoor seating. Decent hot sandwiches & pastry case options. Drinks are delish. Got a strawberry hibiscus refresher (a little too sweet for my liking but nothing more water can't fix), their lattes are good, & the Hall and Oats was probably my favorite. Drinks made in a timely manner. Friendly staff. Good menu. Chill & mellow vibes in the ever so busy financial district. read more

I recently tried Maman's banana iced latte and loved it, only to discover it was part of a seasonal menu which was ending that week.cTo my surprise, I dropped by Gregory's last week to find that they just added a banana latte to their menu, so I just had to try it! I honestly didn't look too closely at the ingredients because I was just way excited to even see a banana latte on the menu. But upon reflection (and a quick search) it includes flavors of banana, butter rum, their Night-Vision espresso and milk, topped with vegan maple rum cold foam. When I asked how sweet it was, they said they could make it less sweet which was good to know, but ultimately it was a bit too busy and sweet for my taste. But that's not really shade on the drink itself, and more so not the best fit for the types of drinks that I enjoy the most. Overall, I enjoy Gregorys coffee and this location was the same. There were a few communication challenges, but the folks working here were super nice and I was lucky to catch them during a late morning lull. Will definitely be back to support, but will pass on the banana latte next time. read more

Cool place to grab a quick coffee. Staff was kind and helped us figure out an alternative to what we wanted to eat after we ordered and found out our food was out of stock. AMAZING, Gregory's next to the bull in the financial district, First able the 2 beauties attending this location were exceptional, second we try FALL OUT BOY & BISCOTTI TESTAROSSA and WOWWWWWW, the best coffee I ever tasted. I love local coffee shops and wanted to try a new spot while traveling. The service was quick and friendly. You can also order online. I was in a rush and cutting it close to missing my bus and the barista rushed my order and had me on my way in no time! (I also made it on the bus a few mins early - whew !) The coffee shop is bright and hip with a unique logo of a guy with glasses. It stands out and has its own flair. I ordered the special: iced cherry blossom - which is espresso, rose & cherry syrup with milk and vegan foam. The syrup is house made rose and cherry syrup! Don't forget to grab a coffee sleeve so your hands don't get too cold walking around the big apple. I loved how creative the place is and will definitely be back the next time I visit NYC! read more

Need to sign a petition to bring this to the west coast. Absolutely loved the caramel cold brew -- need it every single day.

Passing by and decided to grab beverages to warm us up on the walk back to the hotel. They were slightly busy but service was fast and the staff was friendly. There is not a lot of room inside, especially the area you wait for your drinks. Beverages were well made and had good flavor. Our only complaint is the didn't stay hot for very long. read more

I wanted to try another coffee place other than Starbucks on my NYC trip and I'm happy I found this place! Very chill place. Pretty small but not bad at all. The barista was very sweet to me as well! Good service. I ordered a iced caramel macchiato and it was sooo yummy. I'm not sure what type of caramel they used but the flavor was very similar to cajeta. Gregory's Coffee is an upscale, independent coffee chain founded in 2006 and now have almost 40 stores. You can find them around Manhattan and into New Jersey, Connecticut and Washington DC. I've always had a great experience and this location was no exception. In addition to serving exceptional coffee, they have delicious baked goods to enjoy. On this visit I had the banana walnut loaf and loved it. It was fresh and flavourful! If you see one travelling around the New York area, do yourself a favour and stop by. This was my first time stopping at Gregory's after work. I was walking down on Broadway looking for caffeine and noticed the sign in the corner. I usually go to Starbucks so this was an interesting change. Gregory's is a small coffee shop with indoor/outdoor seating. I liked the designs and artwork on the walls. It gave it more of a relatable vibe compared to a Starbucks. There were several food and drink options available. I decided to order the Hall N' Oats which had oat milk, cinnamon, and vanilla. I was not a big fan. The drink was bitter and lacked the strong caffeine boost I was looking for. It was my first time here so I can't say I know all the drinks but I would probably go for a regular iced coffee next time. read more

I miss my drinks at Gregory's. Unfortunately the one that I usually go to is still closed so I got into downtown Manhattan early enough that I could venture into this Gregory location. I took advantage of their newest drink: Picante Pick Me Up and ordered it in advance through their app. When I finally arrived at Gregory's, I saw two maybe three tables for outdoor dining and I walked into the store and there was stickers indicating social distancing. Masks are mandatory to pick up the order. Staff behind the counter were wearing masks and gloves. The drink was perfect for the weather, there was the right amount of spice kick that the espresso flavors and caffeine was a pick me up. Hopefully I can go back again to try other new products. read more

Gregory's Coffee appears to be a pretty popular chain in New York City. My impression was that it's like a more polished version of a Starbucks. They have cool branding that drew us in along with a variety of vegan options for breakfast sandwiches and pastries. When we saw how small some of the items were, my partner and I decided to skip food and stick with coffee. I got their Hall & Oats iced latte. It's cinnamon, oat milk, vanilla and cold brew. It was fine but honestly nothing to write home about. I think it's because they use Califia which is not the creamiest oat milk in my opinion. My partner got a soy latte and enjoyed it, too--not that it's easy to mess up a latte though. I would go back but I might try something different next time. read more

Good service bad espresso drinks. Was desperately needing a pick me up and didn't want to go to Pret for drip coffee since they focus more on food. Found Gregory's on my walk on Broadway. Cappuccino was scorching hot and had no foam, pretty much burnt milk and coffee. Flat white was not the best or close to great. Love the cups and design holds well on a chilly rainy day. Just bad experience, staff needs more training. My tongue is still burning, can they at least have a thermometer for testing and tasting? Flavor was ok, skipped the pastries. read more

I came to Gregory's Coffee to work while on a business trip. The staff was incredibly kind and offered me an extra shot in my latte for free when I mentioned how tired I was! The coffee was excellent and I'd definitely come back for another. Food wise, I ordered a vegan breakfast burrito that was hard to get through, so minus one star for that (though maybe my own fault for ordering a vegan item, as someone dairy free it seemed to be a safe bet). Their tables are also small without outlets nearby so not the best place to sit and answer emails. However, for a stop-in coffee, 5/5 and would come back. read more

I'm not a coffee drinker but I needed something hot to heat up from the weather. Stumbled upon this place and thankfully there was no line. The cashier greeted us and we ordered Fall Oat Boys, which was his recommendation. It did take some making it but I rather have them take their time for a good coffee than for a bad one. My first sip left a good impression. It was hot, which was what I needed. It was tasty and rich in vanilla. In all honesty, this is probably one of my favorite coffee I've ever tasted. Although it was good, the small is smaller than a normal Starbucks cup and it costs around ~$6-7. Overall, this place gave me a good impression on coffee but for the price of it, I might just stick to drinking tea. Definitely worth coming here though! read more

Maybe I came here on an off day, but my experience was way worse than average reviews claimed and also worse than other Gregory locations. The person took my order was either new or in a bad mood. Several things went wrong: - When I asked which breakfast sandwich had no cheese, she said the display is all we have, and that's that. No smile, no further description. So you expect me to read descriptions of all 8+ breakfast sandwiches whereas shouldn't it be part of your job to know what is included in what? - I ordered a shake and a vegan scramble. No joke but shake took 10 min for her to make. When that's done, I had to ask where is my sandwich, and she said, oh I have to make it - which literally means to take it out of the fridge, put it in the oven to heat it up, and give to me. So here's a little lesson on productivity and efficiency - when you were spending the 10 minutes making a shake, MAYBE put the sandwich in the oven first, so when the shake is ready, the sandwich would be ready (probably before that). Anyways, please train up on customer service and how to make a shake! read more

Products and place is nothing special, but don't bother staying inside if want any piece and quiet. The music is REALLY LOUD, to where you cannot speak or be heard. When asked staff, "does the music have to be so loud?" The response was, "what!" Then had to repeat myself... "yes", was the response. So added, "it's obnoxious" and walked away. I will start with the fact that the coffee, once I got it, was good. Nothing else went right. We ordered two drinks and waited for 20 min before we realized all of these people after us were getting their drinks. We finally asked where ours were and they just flat out didn't make them. It was two young men. They never apologized once. They just said they had other drinks to make. I came here a year ago when I visited and it was wonderful. This was really sad. read more

Came into this cute little coffee shop after groping the bull for a little refresher. We came in right around 4 and waited about 10 minutes before the staff took our order. The gentlemen closing the store around when we were there on 12/29 rather rude to all of the guests in the store. The store was "out" of basically any coffee that wasn't a drip. I have an inkling that it was because they had begun cleaning all the stuff for closing. At around 4:20 he said they were closing in just a few minutes and effectively kicked all of the patrons out. Online the coffee shop closes at 5. Bad experience but ok coffee. Could improve on nicer staff. The lady was kind though. read more

I tried the Hall & Oats drink and it was delicious. My fiancè got some kind of frozen drink, but honestly the peanut butter was overpowering and you really couldn't taste any other flavor.
