I requested to talk to another doctor who was even worse. She made fun of me and interrupted me as well. They tried to push bifocals on me after saying many times I did not want them. She said "well if you want to be inconvenienced then." Instead of respecting my preference of not having reading glasses. I do not struggle with seeing while reading. There were not notes from my past visits explaining my situation. I have a lazy eye and stigmatizing, near and far sighted. I have spent years getting the right type of glasses and know the bifocals and provisions are not for me. They did not hear me at all, just interrupted and made fun of me. I am 44 and have worn glasses for 10 years. This is the worst experience I have ever had. Horrible experience. We will NEVER be back. They do not care about the patient. Old staff was completely different.

I ended up having to pay full price for the single vision and not refunded any money. I was told I could pick up some readers from WalMart for $20. I asked if they had readers there and was told yes but I would still have to pay full price on those and couldn't get a price break.

The recording says it might be 24 hours to call you back. What if you need your prescription quickly in a pinch? 2. Warning sign, they have silver painted tree stumps in the waiting are and the furniture looks like it is from a 50's garage sale. Once you have your exam done you can never speak to the eye doctor on the phone. I called for two days never got a call back. 3. Opticians are cranky and not helpful, rude. 4. Told me I could just call in the number off my frame for prism sunglasses. When I did that they said I had to bring them in to be sure they were high enough quality even though I told them they were brand new Ray Bans. So I drove all the way to the store while sick in freezing weather and they told be I could not get prism sunglass in my progressive lens prescription even though the friendly helpful people at Swoop said they would do it. Now I am stuck with Bright Eyes and I am unable to get medical records from them because they don't answer the phone or return calls. It is like fraud, they lured me in for my eye exam and then pretended I was even alive. I am filing a complaint with the Minnesota Board of Medical practice were I used to work.

I have been coming to Kennedy Vision for over 20 years -since they were up in Elk River off School Street. This past summer I came in for my annual checkup, purchased a couple pair of glasses, and ran into a few issues. This was the very first time I questioned the service I received in 20+ years. I listed out my issues in an email and requested the email be forwarded to Dr. Rossow as I was hoping to bring awareness of the concerns from a long-time customer. Here's my interpretation of the email I got back from the "Director of Operations" when I questioned the confusing invoice, the quality of service I received from the office staff, their BOHO program and being charged double what was reasonable for what I purchased. "I'm not going to pass your concerns on to your Dr. Rossow because we don't want him to know we don't care if you're unhappy / dissatisfied and if you go somewhere else..." "Eye insurance is very confusing....and even though we have 100% control over making your bill / invoice less confusing, we're not going to do it" "Your just one person and we don't care if we loose one good customer - our business model allows for disgruntled customers because we overcharge so much" There's a lot more that I could say, but I will just wrap this up by saying they've lost my business...and my wife's business....and my three daughter's business....so I hope that extra $200 you got from me was worth it... * I am sure someone from Kennedy Vision will respond to this review and express their sincere apologies for my experience and state their commitment to customer service...but remember, that's only when I am posting a review for others to see. Although I've walked by Target Optical during nearly every Target run, I had never stopped in…read morebefore. We were looking for a change of eye care and noticed Target Optical worked well with our insurance. Being newer to glasses, I have a hard time deciding what I want so it takes me a while to browse through the offerings. For the products geared toward women, there was a plethora of options. The person I worked with (I think her name was Mary) was a gem! She was patient, offered her expertise/ opinions, and was attentive. I worked with her again when my glasses came in. She helped to make sure the glasses fit to my liking. She was super personable and clearly people come in to work with her directly. Several people called to her by name upon arriving.

So went for eye exam, already new I needed readers but this location happens to tell me I need both…read morereaders and distance glasses and tried to sell me a 300 pair of glasses! Best part is they refused to bill my insurance wanted me to pay in full and do the paper work myself really??! So went to another eye Dr her exact words were "not sure what there smoking but you only need readers" this location felt a bit of a scam to me let alone the not billing your insurance! I would avoid it at least get a second opinion.
