He prescribed bifocals that never worked. Even after having them remade, I have been suffering and unable to see through them unless they were at the tip of my nose for a year. Today I discovered that they measured my PD completely wrong!! Off by 15mm in an rx of -8.0+ I have been terrified all year that my vision was going away because my mother had cataracts in her late 30s. Really terrible experience that decreased my quality of life until my insurance would pay for another exam. Additionally, the plastic rayban frames are the crappiest, lowest QA glasses I have ever had in almost four decades. Go somewhere else.

They said they corrected it, but the second check went to the same wrong address, I was lucky enough the postman figured it out and I got it. I'm still waiting for a check from October and the act like they do t know how to take care of the problem. Today the business did not open!!! A miracle, Dr. Patrick Johnson from North Suburban Eye Specalist is a magician. The surgery went great -but now I need a cleaning lady I see so well! The difference in the eye is the difference between the natural and daylight bulbs from Menards. The snow is neon white and my living room walls are not pea soup green. The staff was very friendly and patient with me AND with my two year old running around in their play area! Even though the store was busy at the time, they went out of their way to show me and give me their opinion on a wide selection of frames, without making me feel rushed. I was paired with a staff member with a similar prescription (the store manager, Odessa) which turned out to be very helpful in selecting frames as well as lens options that best suited that prescription. We had narrowed it down to two frames, and when I couldn't decide between them, she offered to take pictures of me with both so that I could see them from different angles. A small thing, but another example of their attentiveness and above-and-beyond service. My glasses arrived very quickly and exactly as expected, and I received the same great service when I picked them up and had them fitted. I would definitely go back!
