Called BEFORE I made an appointment to see if they took my insurance, man took down all my info and said "yes we do!" Had my appointment and the optometrist had on ONE shoe and was rude as rude could be screaming at me and pretty much calling me a liar saying I could see far away and not up close(why would I lie?!) then by the end of the check up she was like "I'm not giving you your full prescription because it will be too strong" then proceeded to give me readers I paid over $300 for that are NO HELP! I have a picture of her walking around with no shoe and a recording of her screaming at me. Then when I asked them to send me my prescription THREE times they refused....then send me it after I told them ITS LAW they gave to send it to me, it was a prescription for readers!!!! How did my eyes go from +2.00 and +3.00 10 years ago to almost perfect how?! Then they sent me a bill saying I owed more because they didn't take my insurance and argued with me saying they never checked and blah blah. Worst people I've ever encountered and the place is a mess! read more

This small business goes above and beyond when it comes to customer service. Twice now my glasses have needed to be repaired, i stopped in unannounced and they were fixed and handed back to me. Clean both times no charge!!!! read more

BEWARE - If the prescription they prepare for you, even if it was incorrect/wrong as in my case you will still pay full price for your glasses even if you don't like them or the end up just making your prescription a reader lenses. I went through two pair of lenses before they retested and discovered that the original prescription was wrong. After making new lenses and placing the bifocal line direction in my line of site Dave the counter guy asked me what it was I wanted. First of all I wanted to be able to see with a pair of $600.00 glasses, the solution was to just make the glasses I needed a reader lens and I would be okay with out the distance correction. Well I now have a $600 pair of readers and there is no credits issued for the original prescriptions which were wrong because that's the way the eyeglass industry works. Called the owner in Anoka and she said that true, that's just what happens and that I'm a minority.... I wouldn't recommend Select Eye Care to an enemy, poor customer service, lack of professionalism and unskilled craftsman in this industry. read more

GO HERE. Seriously. The owner is amazing. He been working every single time I'm there and seems to always be busting his butt. He knows frames, the technology to help the optometrist, and will give you a great deal. I've been going here for years and he accepts all insurances, is talkative, personable, helpful (SO HELPFUL) and genuine with you. He's willing to order lenses for you, or simply fix a pair of lenses you've had for years (and he didn't charge me). They have a quick turnover time, and allows you time to decide on what you want from his large selections lenses. read more

The worst place of business I've ever been to in my life ran by a wife and husband. I had to call the police to file a report. I went to my financial institution to try to recoup my money that they stole from me. *** avoid this place, unless you like being scammed by fake individuals pretending to run a Eyecare clinic! I even had to file a complaint with the board of optometry as well as the attorney general's office to try to recoup my money! The husband even texted and continued to contact me multiple times harassing me.! my employer even called to assist them with getting my insurance information ran and they did not want to Accept it after the fact !!! They charged my card $254 for fake services read more

I just got a new set of glasses and they could be no better. These new Zeiss lenses are ultra-thin and light and are far better than the ones I had. I had an issue with my other single vision made here in Chiraq where I could see distance fine but not near so I constantly had to take them off to see labels and things from about 5 feet away or nearer. But now this is remedied. And I got all the additional options I had on my previous glasses which made me most happy. Thank you. Great work. read more

We even moved out of town and I still won't go anywhere else but Select Eye Care Thank you for everything you do for us!! read more

Went in for safety glasses. Got the exam and had new ones made. Picked them up on a Monday afternoon and 2 days later went back concerned that the new ones were worse than the pair I had. He, the owner said impossible. I said I can see close due to bifocal and far away but anything from 2 to 4 feet was a blur. He said I would need trifocals. I said my old ones aren't trifocals and I see fine. He said look across street which pair is better, I said doesn't matter these are work glasses not leisure. All he wanted to do was argue instead of fixing the problem so I left with an issue unresolved. Won't be back!!! Worst experience I've ever had with glasses!!! read more

My son has been being seen here since his first eye exam. The doctors have been great and the owner is amazing. They help select the best glasses for my son for his lifestyle, beings as he is an active 6 year old he needs flexible glasses and that is what we get. Even when some kid at the playground at school threw my son's glasses down the slide destroying them they helped get a replacement without problems. They work with our county insurance and everything has been great so far. We've only spent something like $200 out of pocket because we chose to get scratch resistant and transitioning lenses with his last pair. read more

I will continue being a customer and recommend Select to anyone whose tired of the run around often found elsewhere. Thanks Select - I can see clearly now! read more

My favorite eye care place. Great prices and can source hard to find ultra thin lenses and have my customized gold coating I like on them. Great frame selection and can find and order almost any frame I have a photo of at a good deal price. Customer satisfaction guaranteed. Especially important since I am out of state now. I always stick with the sources I know which can provide excellent service. And Select Eyecare and Marsh do just that. WP read more

The guy, the owner I'm guessing, has very poor customer service and is also rude. I will not be coming back. He is very pushy with making sells and says rude things to his customer. As I was waiting for my pupil to dilate, he was arguing with the customer before me. He was trying to convince the customer to purchase a pair of glasses his insurance was not going to covered. The customer was frustrated and told the owner he was only getting what the insurance will cover. Prior to my visit, I asked over the phone if they take my insurance and he said yes. After my appointment, he told me he is sure my insurance will not cover and I will have to pay out of pocket. I actually have the best coverage from my employer and he didn't have to say that to me. I will pay if I have to. But how he said it to me was just so rude and I did not appreciate how he talked down to me. I do not recommend anyone to go there. Take your money somewhere else where they will treat you right. read more
