So the old: "You're not breaking up with me, I'm breaking up with you..!!" Well good for you Kennedy Vision. It's alway better to get rid of nosey customers that question the services you provide than to try to address those tough billing & poor service questions. I will still need time to grieve over this breakup though... sniff sniff.. ***************** 20+ years of coming to Kennedy Vision and now I am done. I have been coming to Kennedy Vision for over 20 years -since they were up in Elk River off School Street. This past summer I came in for my annual checkup, purchased a couple pair of glasses, and ran into a few issues. This was the very first time I questioned the service I received in 20+ years. I listed out my issues in an email and requested the email be forwarded to Dr. Rossow as I was hoping to bring awareness of the concerns from a long-time customer. Here's my interpretation of the email I got back from the "Director of Operations" when I questioned the confusing invoice, the quality of service I received from the office staff, their BOHO program and being charged double what was reasonable for what I purchased. "I'm not going to pass your concerns on to your Dr. Rossow because we don't want him to know we don't care if you're unhappy / dissatisfied and if you go somewhere else..." "Eye insurance is very confusing....and even though we have 100% control over making your bill / invoice less confusing, we're not going to do it" "Your just one person and we don't care if we loose one good customer - our business model allows for disgruntled customers because we overcharge so much" There's a lot more that I could say, but I will just wrap this up by saying they've lost my business...and my wife's business....and my three daughter's business....so I hope that extra $200 you got from me was worth it... * I am sure someone from Kennedy Vision will respond to this review and express their sincere apologies for my experience and state their commitment to customer service...but remember, that's only when I am posting a review for others to see. They had no interest in resolving my issues over multiple emails and phone calls... Only when people complain out-loud do they feel apologetic. No refunds on this review Kennedy Vision.... I sincerely apologize, but it's my policy...

Finding this eye care center was easy, the staff was incredibly professional and kind! I'm currently on crutches so just the small act of letting me sit and bring the clipboard and paperwork to me versus making me struggling and stand at the counter meant a lot to me. I met with Dr. Beers and he was very patient, answered all of my questions, and helped me feel comfortable about my eye options. I had lasik in 2015 and my eyes aren't terrible but slowly getting a prescription - he made it super easy for me to fax my charts and papers over to my lasik provider to maintain my lifetime warranty and it was overall a really great experience! I have had terrible eyesight and have needed glasses since I was 9, going to the eye doctor is equivalent to the anxiety most people feel going to the dentist and they really put me at ease. I'm glad I found them and will be staying with them as long as they'll have me as a patient!

Note: I'm not having any issues but scheduled my annual & routine eye check up. At the appointment they start by doing some standard tests and then the DR does their normal and routine tests. If they don't find any eye issues, I only pay the $10.00 co-pay. However, (little did I know) if they find an eye condition they automatically change this to a medical appointment which now costs $65.23. Here is my complaint. The only thing different is them telling me about the condition of my eyes. So instead of saying your eyes are perfect and come back in a year they tell you about an eye condition, they'll keep an eye on it and come back in a year. Is this not the purpose of a check up is to find out the condition of your eyes. Let me repeat: Nothing (no tests, eye checks) was done different from it being a $10.00 visit to a $65.23 visit except they TOLD me about a situation with my eye. There was absolutely no additional work done during that appointment. When I have my dental check-ups they tell me the condition of my teeth. If they find work that needs to be done they don't go back and charge me for the check up. We move forward with my treatment plan. United Health Care said they pay according to the code the doctor's use. The Eye Care Clinic changing this to medical billing generates more money for them and more out of pocket for the customer. Be aware of how they code your visit: medical or routine
