This is our 3rd year renting from Greer's Pier and it won't be our last. The young gentleman that helped us yesterday was awesome. The crew is always very polite and helpful. Though the weather was iffy yesterday, they worked with us and we made the most out of our day. Thank you again for a great afternoon. The Pines Crew, Ironwood Michigan. read more

Great place on the water! Food and drinks awesome! Always a good time. Just go. You can thank me later.

Fun place to hang out for a while on the Manitowish Chain! Food and drinks are good. Great place to grab a bite to eat and a few refreshments. Always a good time at Greer's. You can also shop for Greer's gear. read more

Great service! I've rented sleds from these guys a couple times now and everything has been great. The sleds are in excellent condition and the customer service is wonderful. There's lake access right behind their shop and trails are right in front. -Shaggy read more

Greer's Pier Marina - Skidoo snowmobiles - Boating Near Me - Manitowish Waters, Wisconsin

There is an ongoing competition between Greer's and the bar next to it for who wants your business the least. When we were there, the restaurant was in front by a hair... read more

My husband and I planned a fun family vacation up in Northern WI. We had reserved a speed boat from Greers Pier, two months in advance, to enjoy my daughter's birthday on the lake. The Marina canceled our reservation the day before we were to get the boat. They left a message and said we would get our deposit back. There was no backup boat or plan for a repair. There was no perk or offer for a future rental or substitute. When we called them back (more in disbelief), there was no customer service, there was nothing, but the fact that they "credited back our deposit". If you looking for a dependable boat rental with great customer service, don't rent from Greer's Pier. read more

Greer's Pier Marina is located on the Manitowish Waters chain of lakes. It offers a wide variety of your "lake" needs from water rentals and sales, fishing gear and licenses, swimwear, sweatshirts, flip/flops, etc. They have a wonderful deli inside and ice cream. Outside, they have a fun tiki bar with grilling items to buy. Friendly and good service. read more

The food and drinks are amazing. The service is disappointing, the bartenders are rude and the guys behind the counter make you feel like you're not welcome. read more

Friendly staff and very helpful and informed. My dad bought a pontoon from them- and they answered all his silly questions. Also great selection of swim suits and clothes. Definitely go to the deli when you're there and try the wraps and sandwiches! Get the Finn. It's my fav read more

Greer's pier is amazing! I went up for little get away with my family and boyyyy did they impress!!! The food was impeccable, and don't even get me started on the employees, AMAZING HANDS DOWN. Everyone was so kind and helpful, even the deli chicks!!!! I also rented a boat and they are so nice, the are reliable, dependable, and very clean. Although their was one girl in the front who looked rather confused up there, but when we came back the next day she was on the grill and killing it. (definitely put the boys in their place #gohadleyandclara). The bartenders were such a delight, so fun to talk to, and nice to look at too. I can't wait for my next adventure up to Manitowish Waters, Wi. I will most defintitely be stopping by Greers!!!! read more

The people here are so friendly and nice. The young ladies in the back were so helpful to my wife in helping her with a swim suit. Great staff!!! read more

Absolutely horrible service. Do not rent a boat from here. Go to Minocqua instead. The service was terrible. We were told that we could rent a boat being we had someone who was 25 with us (which is the age requirement). However after traveling hours to get there we were told we could not rent a boat. The employees were also so rude about this while situation. DO NOT RECOMMEND! read more

Excellent service! Rented pontoons for years. We now buy from them. Everyone is friendly and the Tiki Bar is wonderful. Our family loves going there. read more

Check your props people. Make sure they are either lifting the motor and spinning the prop for your complete inspection or get in the water and check. I guess this logic would apply to the whole boat. Bring your phone cameras. We were charged $170 for a new prop that may have been compromised before our trip. (in expensive hindsight we laugh about how many times that prop has been paid for). Won't rent a boat from them again. read more

My dad and I decided to stop at Greer's one morning/afternoon for some drinks and lunch. We walked around the store first since the restaurant wasn't open. So we walked around and first looked outside at the clothes that were on big sale. My dad picked up a sweatshirt that was 50% off and bought it and also got good fishing advice at the front counter. We then went to the restaurant and got some bacon cheeseburgers and I got a Shirley Temple and my dad got a Bloody Mary. Our burgers outstanding and fast since we were the only ones their, there was also a black lab named Finn and another one but a different dog breed named Sailor. Over all, recommend. read more

Don't rent a boat here if you are looking to deal with friendly and ethical people. Go to Boulder Marine. The manager here offered me a small concession credit on a tube and skis (that were extras above the boat rental) as we couldn't use the boat for 2 of our 5 days due to weather and then realized I had already paid for them and then retracted his credit offer. I understand the policy for no refunds or credits, but then don't offer something and then not stay true to your word once you realize you already had my money. read more

Don't rent from this place. The management is unethical. Their brochure clearly states that in the case of inclement weather, they will provide a refund or reschedule your day. We called on a rainy day to confirm that and they told us not to worry about bringing the boat back in the rain. When we brought it back he refused a credit and wouldn't reschedule because we had the boat "all day" and basically said "too bad." Despite it being clearly printed in the brochure, he refused to honor written policy. Bad business. read more

It all started when I first booked it, I called to rent a pontoon for a Monday, they told me " We have no more left!" I then asked "What other places can I rent for the day?" Then they said " Oh we have one available!" WHAT?? Then When we arrived the sign said " NO ONE UNDER THE AGE OF 25 ALOWED IN SHOP!" WHAT?? It gets worse!! We arrived right when we could first get in the boat, They had very nice new Pontoons, but they lead us to the junkiest Pontoon they had!! But we didn't argue and we went along. The map they gave us of the lakes was USELESS!! So it needed a better one I had to pay $12 for a map that I will use once!! The boat WAS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!! Stains in the Sun Shade in the Carpet, MOLD GROWING in the carpet and chairs!!! When we lifted up the seats you could smell MILDEW!! There was leaves, dirt, crumbs in between the chairs!! But we keep rolling. When my husband was driving the stearin was so tight it was so stressful!! The radio didn't work because there was no ATENA!! The Gas gage didn't work!! There was no depth finder!! The motor would stop in middle of us moving!! And when we caught a fish there was NO LIVE WELL!! So we drove back and they wanted us to buy a bucket for $30!! I asked for a 5 gallon bucket they surprisingly gave it to me. The boat was terrible but we made the most of it. When we got back we started telling them about the motor they said " That sounds about right!" WHAT?? The only plus was the clean bathrooms! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! read more

Very disappointed in my experience with my speedboat rental from Greers. The lead worker was very rude and didn't want our business late in afternoon. We were very careful with the boat and he said the prop got bent from us so we got charged an extra $90. Unethical business. read more

Awesome place!! Neal and his team have all the right stuff! They have watercraft, swimming suits, food and drink. Whether you are stopping for gas or to sit at the bar or for lunch - the gang will be happy to see you. Service with a smile. read more
