I'd been curious about what the paint fee Ive been paying for went towards every time I bought paint. Turns out it goes towards free drop off paint recycling- awesome!! I showed up with a ton of cans and 1 bucket. Dropping off with the attendant was super fast and easy. read more

Very thin. Took 2-3 coats to cover & still needs touch ups. Also, it is supposed to be low VOC, but has a strong odor & hoping that leaving windows open will help. We used the color "cream" and it had a grey-ish green cast to it, so overall, not very happy with this product. read more

Incredible business! Their superior product, community support (I'm an artist and have worked with them for non-profit projects), and communication are incredible! I also do residential remodeling and their product/beautiful palette are an incredible addition for customers looking for an eco-paint option. Thank you so much for your help!!! What a superior business. I like the sheen/ palette/ durability, and used the green tea color. Very satisfied. read more

Purchased some unopened gallons of this paint at a habitat for humanity store. On opening found it had separated a great deal but mixed up ok. After painting found it stinks and smell does not go away. Have tried all paint smell home remedies, including washing walls with mild bleach solution. After 4 days throwing in the towel and will prime with odor blocker and repaint Smell is not a normal paint smell (we paint a lot and it does not bother us). Smells like brimstone. read more

I would not use this inside a home or any building. We used this in a cabin to paint the kitchen walls. It was separated really bad, but I used a electric mixer and it mixed great. It is thick, but we needed to apply 2 coats still. But I think this paint made me extremely sick with respiratory problems. The paint smells extremely bad like fermeldihide. It smells of a toxic or poisonous chemical. The smell was so bad that my children told me my jacket smelled nasty, the smell actually is all over my clothes and I never got a drip of paint on me. I had fans running in the rooms so the smell blew around and on to my clothes. It's really bad and there is no way this can be healthy. I paid $18 a gallon, I highly recommend going to Menards and paying. $10 extra for a safer paint. I could not find contact information for this company except to send them a email. I also looked to see if they had recalls on their paints and found nothing. Pay the extra cash for a better quality paint, this is my recommendation. read more

The company itself is wonderful, and ran by caring people. Not to mention the paint quality is actually great, it's amazing that it's eco-friendly and recycled as well. Love it! read more

Green sheen paint has some good, hard working employees. Nicole, Jeff, Chris, Brian, Hannah, and others do a great job and and are valued employees. read more

Paint is crap. I wouldn't even say it is thicker than water. Can barely tell after doing one coat. Just looks like a white stain. After 5 coats, it FINALLY looks like what you would get from a quality paint after 1 to maybe 2 coats. Waste of $70. read more

GreenSheen Paint - Believe it or not, there is a coat on the bottom of the board. The top has 5 coats on it. - Paint Stores Near Me - Denver, Colorado

Very disappointed with green sheen paint, not even close in consitisity to the box stores paint, very thin. Tried to cover a light tan paint, took two coats. Was hoping this paint would be a good thing, i like the recycling part of it, but will never use it again. read more

I really like what this company is doing, selling recycled paint makes so much sense! Beyond that I have nothing good to say. There are only 1.5 employees in this shop and the one full time person, Daniel, cannot keep up with all the work on his own. My husband drove to their shop on Monday morning, put in his order and was not given a date for pickup. I drove to their shop on Tuesday afternoon and was still unable to get a pick-up date. Both times we had to drive to the shop because Kevin, the owner, does not answer his phone. Today is Wednesday afternoon and we still have not received a call and ended having to go with what our painting company uses, Sherwin Williams. The owner, Kevin, is horrible about returning calls. I have no idea how they are still in business. I would strongly suggest if you want to go this route for paint that you put your order in 2 weeks in advance to make sure you get it, it may take that long for Kevin to return your call. On two separate occasions Kevin did not show up for a confirmed appointment for an interior & exterior painting job estimate. read more

Went to drop paint off on a Saturday and was bummed they were closed, as I was pulling away, I saw a company truck pull in. He informed me they were closed but said he could let me make my drop off anyway. I was super happy about that, and love the service they provide! Thank you! read more

They are a terrible company to work for, they treat their employees bad. They talk to their employees like they are stupid people and get over dramatic about little things. If you are looking for a job keep looking read more

We needed to dispose of a lot of paint and came across this green company on Yelp. You pay something like 30 cents a pound and they will take your paint and instead of disposing it like most places, they will recycle the paint and the cans. They also then resell their own brand of paint that is interior/exterior and made up of the recycled paint. If you bring in your receipt from selling your paint you get $3 off per gallon on new paint purchases, and at less then $15 a gallon it's already waaaaaayyyy less expensive then other brands. Seems like a great operation they have going on here. We dealt with the owner and he made the process quick, easy and was really friendly. I would definitely return. read more

Really easy and convenient to drop off paint for recycling for free! I just walked in, signed a log, and someone was quick and friendly to load up a cart and haul off my old paint. read more

Excellent paint! Such a great quality and fantastic finish! Used the cream color for an accent wall on a very textured wall, needed two coats but on a normal wall probably could have gotten away with one easily. Warm rich color and eco-friendly...unbeatable value! read more

I have used there products for years on projects ranging from High end flips to rental properties. Tremendous value as well as the average quality of the paint being better than expected. The greatest aspect of this company is most likely not fully understood by many customers that purchase the paint at a local Habitat Restore. The processing facility on Dartmouth is saving hundreds of thousands of gallons of paint from being dumped into landfills for future generations to deal with. Your large box store maybe able to match your paint to the perfect shade you want by what are they doing to deal with the leftover paint and waste. I encourage everyone to try their products and support their stewardship of the environment. read more
