So, when a tree fell during the hurricane and ruined my existing grill, I was at quite a loss. I do have a gas range inside, but without power, my gas oven will not work. Plus, I like to use my grill for an oven, too. The week after Beryl moved through here, I went to Cunningham to get a replacement grill. Because they keep such great records, they knew exactly which grill I had installed just 2 years ago, and I'm so thankful they had a new one in stock. I was concerned when Farmers Disposal I was so pleased with the service. They allowed up to 5 trash cans, which was really important to us. Then Country Corridor Disposal bought them out and it went badly from the beginning. Very disorganized transfer, billing issues, missed pickups and impossible to get in touch with. This company was very quick to communicate an additional fee, but I learned from the tag on my trash can today they changed the can allowance to two. That does not work for us so I requested a refund for the remainder of the quarter, which of course they won't honor. It is really hard to find decent, honest trash service in this area it seems. Stay away from this company!​

When they first started picking up our trash, they specifically told me that their employees did NOT pick up the actual trash can - they said everything should be in bags inside the can and the employees would pick the trash out of there. This rule, according to them, is because of potential back injuries. Their employees recently tore the lid of our trash can and I sent a video of it plus a snapshot to Taylor at Country Corridor. They told me it would cost ME $80 to replace it. They didn't take responsibility for their employee causing the damage to my lid. I asked to have a supervisor call me but of course no one ever did. I have also asked to cancel my service 2 months ahead of our pre-paid time and was told they don't issue refunds unless it is due to a move. This is nothing but a scam to be able to keep a customer's money. A move has absolutely nothing to do with giving a customer a refund due to unsatisfactory service. This place is A LOT higher than the other trash disposal companies out there and they are certainly NOT worth the price. I would never do business with them again and would never recommend them either.

Not sure who the new owners are but the woman that runs this facility needs lessons in customer service. I have had a few issues with her but the most recent was Feb 2024. I had fraud on my bank account and my bank froze my account. They reopened a new account and wrote a letter to my creditors so that I would not be held accountable for late fees and such. I called A1 mini storage to advise of my issue and the gentleman that I spoke with advised to send a check when I got my new ones in and to send the letter as well. Which is what I did. The woman at the facility called me and asked about the payment and I advised that I had just sent it in along with the letter. I advised what the gentleman had said, she started raising her voice and advised this was not her problem, that I needed to pay the $25 late fee. I told her that in all my years I had never experienced the lack of customer service that I have from her. She just started yelling. I really think she has a mental problem because I didn't see a reason for her to carry on the way she was. She was screaming at me and I couldn't say a word so I hung up on her. The times before I just assumed she was having a bad day but this is not an excuse. Needless to say I paid the late fee and am NO longer a customer. I will never advise for anyone to rent from these folks and I hope that many more will go elsewhere. Too many rental facilities in the same area to be treated this way. I paid 20-30K to this facility over the years and she acted this way over $25. Good Riddance to A1 Mini Storage.

This company is run by emotionally immature children. Maybe they do good work (electricians and…read moregenerator companies are a dime a dozen in Houston) but the woman running the customer service for the company is extremely immature and overly emotional. I asked for a generator quote for a Kohler generator, very simple. They responded back and said immediately and unprompted "we are not the cheapest." I said ok just give me a quote (since I'm getting several.) They responded back and said they hoped to have a quote in 1-2 days. No problem. Well fast forward over a week (and I had to re ask them for the quote while waiting.) I get an outrageously expensive quote (significantly higher than any other quotes I've received) and it's for a Generac, not a Kohler. On top of that I had liked the page and witnessed them CONSTANTLY blasting and getting into drama with anyone who leaves them an unfavorable review or does anything they deem unfavorable. I've always been put off by companies who engage in constant drama in the public eye. Says alot. If you're confident in your work you'll let that do the talking. Anyways, I told them about the error and was met with excuses about how busy they are. EVERYONE who deals with generators in Houston currently is I mentioned I was unhappy with the delays, the mistakes and the constant drama I was witnessing and they immediately removed me from their list. Ok great. There are literally hundreds of generator companies with amazing reviews selling the same products with great track records who don't argue back and forth on Facebook with their customers. The immature drama and back and forth they engage in just makes me lose all faith in them as a company. None of that is remotely necessary. Jose Alverez initially did a good job in designing and installing our fence, although it took him a…read morelong time to get started. Now, a year and a half later, our front gate is starting to rust and the back left hand gate is broken. The top support, that holds all of the gate weight, broke off of the post. It turns out it had only a single small tack weld securing it to the post. The right hand gate panel has a doubler plate and fully welded support pin. It is not surprising the weld failed. It's been 3 weeks since I contacted the owner and while he hasn't called back, he has occasionally answered my numerous calls. All he says is that he is busy and he'll come by when he can, but he refuses to put me on his schedule. I offered to pay for the service call and work, even though the issue is clearly a design flaw.
