Loved this place, while visiting the area! Healthy, green, tons of veggies, and just lovely!

Delicious gyro that's full of favor and delicious. The to go order was perfectly package. I cannot comment on in restaurant service as I only have done to go orders. read more

My first time here. It's not typically my "go to" place for breakfast/brunch. I went here with a group of colleagues for brunch. The place was very clean. The prices in the menu were somewhat steep for it being a simple brunch. However, it was very fresh tasting. All the ingredients used for my meal: nopales, black beans, and veggies tasted very fresh. I was very satisfied with my healthier version of the typical omelette. Their coffee was also flavorful, not weak or bland, (I drink my coffee black). The server tended to our needs in an expeditious and friendly manner, considering we were a large party. All in all, Great Healthy Brunch! read more

It's nice that the Valley has more healthy restaurants and I have tried a few while on business trips but this was not my favorite. Though I wish I could speak other languages and tried my best, no one here spoke any English and try as I might to communicate as you would in a foreign country ; they were having none of it so pointing to a pic it was. Menu was confusing- vegan, vegetarian, seafood, Mexican, meat , breakfast - no focus at all! I am never a fan of a restaurant that just serves everything and anything. I got their fresh pressed juice which was made on the spot which was nice but it was too warm. Ice would have saved it. The tofu bowl I had was good but the tofu was raw and chewy which was just odd; almost like it was old Liked the veggies and sauce though Won't be back to this one read more

Best dining experience so far in McAllen, Tx. Mediterranean food, delightfully prepared and presented. A welcome break from the too many other restaurants in town. read more

Absolutely delicious! We shared a Greek Bowl because we didn't know how large it would be.... I could have scarffed it all down, then waddled out.... But fortunately, my husband also loved it! The lamb the sauces! ... the veggies were crispy & delicious AND the rice was to die for! Can't wait to try breakfast!!! I would have snapped a pic, but we ate it too fast! read more

Greens & Lemons is a gem I went to the one on Trenton Rd and I fell in love. The place is beautiful and very chic. I love the decor and the atmosphere. The staff is very attentive, caring and amicable. The food is delicious. I tried the Gyro, and my boyfriend tried the turkey sandwich and the bison burger. The gyro sandwich is rich in flavors and all the ingredients complement each other perfectly. The turkey sandwich was delicious because the bread was perfectly toasted and the avocado was the cherry on the top. The bison burger was juicy and decadent. They were all delicious, but if I am big honest, their sweet potato fries are to die for!! Great place! Great service! Great food! read more

I came here bc of the reviews. I'm in town on business and can honestly say the food was ok but service was bad. I stood in front of the cashier for 5 minutes as he counted checks without any recognition even though he definitely saw me waiting to place my order. I asked for my order of pico de Gallo salmon with Mayo on the side. Not only was the entire dish covered in Mayo, he charged me for an extra side order of sauce as well. I felt very unwelcome and even though I was sitting at a table, clearly intending to eat there, he packed it in a to go box and dropped it on my table as if it was trash. Very poor service and not that great of a meal either. Disappointing. Don't waste your time or money. read more

Absolutely love this place!!! It was so delicious,At first I was a bit worried but ,everything we ordered was so good. We started out with a beet tostada. Let me tell you. I've always wondered why chefs would say, "it's an explosion in my mouth." Now I know what they mean by that term. Because that's exactly what it was. I would definitely recommend Then for my main meal I ordered the shrimp delight , it was so good I finished the whole thing Afterwards I ordered a health shot it was strong but made me feel good after. Anyways If ur looking for healthy and delicious food I would highly recommend this place. read more

It was my first time visiting this location and we had a great experience. They have a huge breakfast selection with a mixture of vegan and regular options. We also tried the Iron Man smoothie and Leaner Juice which were both vary fresh and tasty. The interior of the restaurant is vary health themed. The asthenic is vary curated and adds to the over all environment. They have plenty of parking and plenty of seating room. They even sell different healthy snacks and products at the cashier. The service was great, they checked on us constantly and made sure we had everything we needed/wanted. Would definitely recommend this restaurant for breakfast/brunch and I will definitely be back for their lunch menu as well. read more

I'm from Austin, rated by many one of the great food destinations in the USA, and I have high standards. We are camping for a week in the Valley (Falcon State Park, birding and hiking). As much as I love Tex-Mex, Mexican and BBQ, I need fresh options too. I found Greens and Lemons on Yelp! Qué comida tan deliciosa! The 4-page menu offers great choices for everyone: vegetarian, vegan, omnivores, and all the folks who choose food selectively in other ways (keto, paleo, gluten-free). My companion ordered the Wednesday special (Croissalmon, a salmon and shrimp sandwich) with an indescribable, delicious lentil soup and the most perfect sweet potato fries I have ever eaten: no breading, no artificial anything. Who knew they could be so good? I ordered Buffalo Cauliflower and Asparagus&Avocado ceviche. The pictures don't do it justice. EAT HERE!! Every. Single. Day. Greens and Lemons is in a strip center just a bit off the main drag. Worth the trip. read more

First time pleased! Ordered brunch- pancakes. Not your IHOP style of pancakes/ this one was made with oats/almond milk/ eggs/ cinnamon and blueberries- it was interesting- didn't overpower the palette. Wife had yummy fruit topped waffles! Niece had avocado toast with poached eggs- yummy! Had cucumber lemonade and it was good. The atmosphere is really good- not to loud- can actually talk and visit. Good healthy food! read more

Whole, healthy vegan dishes and seafood which are very delicious with unique twists. love this place when "I want something different."

Took a family friend to dine in and the waitress was absurdly rude; No greeting and very negative. It was our first time there and we got there 30 min before closing. As soon as we finished our meal (within 30 min!), the staff turned off all the lights and left us in dark. Horrible for lack of simple and courteous communication. We are letting everyone we know personally about this terrible experience and to avoid this restaurant; McAllen has plenty of other options, and I wouldn't be surprised to see this business fail if they keep those type of employees there. Food was mediocre and over priced. read more

We went to their location in McAllen, TX on Trenton Road, and I am so happy someone recommended this place to us. It's the best "quick food" restaurant I've eaten in a many months--rings all my bells for dining. It's healthy, fresh, clean, loads of macro and micronutrients, with Keto and GF options. Most of all, our food was all super delicious. We had the buffalo cauliflower and burrata with added salmon filet. Our plates looked licked clean! Highly recommend. I wish there were more locations across Texas. We'd be regulars. read more

I love this place! Great food, a variety of vegan options, delicious brunch, and a fun juice list! It's a great place to relax and take your time. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They offer a cooking class on Wednesdays from 10 am - 12 noon. I've had brunch with friends here and it's very reasonably priced for such great food. Worth checking out if you are a vegetarian, vegan, or just want to eat a little healthier! I have 4 stars instead of 5, because they are painfully show. If their speed was just a little bit faster, I'd raise it to 5 stars! read more

Ordered through GrubHub and spent 28.00 dollars on hummus and ceviche, which was fine because that's what I had agreed to. However, they didn't provide pita chips or anything to eat it with. So, I got a container of hummus for 10.00..I had thought it would come with pita bread like Blue Onion but when I called they said they just gave pita chips..but they didn't even provide them :/. The ceviche didn't really look good either, sloppy presentation, and for 14.00 it's was a small portion compared to other places. The hummus was also too salty. Very disappointed, never going there or ordering again. read more

My first there I ordered the Chilaquiles bowl, the meal was OK but they placed two slices of avocado on top that had those black veins and color was on the dark side. Even at home if i slice an avocado,if it looks like that, i throw it away.might not be an issue worth mentioning but for me it's like being served a shrimp with the digestive tract still on it.. a $10 plate should have fresh items on it. Do better. read more

Great menu options. The menu was diverse and the good was tasty. The place is unique and healthy.

I came in yesterday because I had been eye-balling it for weeks now. The guy who helped me was very informative and even picked my plate for me and explained how they make it and what they use. I ordered the salmon, a pressed juice with every vegetable and fruit they had, and some vegan cookies they had on the side to go. He also explained it is a Mediterranean inspired restaurant so don't go there thinking you will find Shwarmas because they weren't on the menu :( The presentation for a to go plate was great! It also smelled amazing and tasted even better. I was in and out pretty quickly, only down side about it is that it is a bit pricey. In total I paid 27$ not including a tip, but I believe it is well worth it, I just won't be able to eat it every day like I would definitely want to. They have very healthy and fresh options, as well as vegan which I am very interested in trying. Also the desserts sound amazing! read more

I've been to Greens and Lemons twice now. I've messaged at least five friends while sitting here that they must try this place. The food has been excellent! They have excellent choices of salsas, drinks and food! They also have a salad bar that has everything you could want! This place has vegan options. I had The special of the day (tacos de tinga en pollo). They were not on the menu but were very good! If you want a new spin on your food I highly recommend Greens and Lemons. read more

Why does this place not have more reviews? It is one of the joys of the valley for health-conscious people. I absolutely love the food here, they are not afraid to use flavor in it. I'm gonna give four stars for my first time eating there. I was in a huge rush and wanted something healthy but tasty. I was served quickly and waited no more than 10 minutes for the Middle Eastern Plate ($16.99) I don't usually go for exotic foods but I wasn't about to resort to a cheese burger or some other fat filled carb bomb. I saw a photo someone else posted (don't remember the name) of her husbands plate and thought "hey that looks good" so that's what I ordered. It was a serving of two meat empanadas, two kibbeh, 3 grape leave rolls, rice, tabbouleh salad pita and Greek yogurt. I was only familiar with meat empanadas but was not disappointed with the plate as a whole. The yogurt I did not care for, but my mom LOVED IT. Said it it reminded her of the jocoque yogurt she grew up eating. The leaves were the next thing I was wary about, but they were interesting. It tasted like a minty lettuce leave but was also filled with meat and some kind of grain. Last but not least there was the little salad which reminded me of ceviche but with no fish! So fresh and so good, I saved a little bit for later to eat with chips! Overall the plate was satisfying without feeling heavy, which I liked and was exactly what I was looking for today. :) Hope to be coming back soon to try other items! read more
