My first time here. It's not typically my "go to" place for breakfast/brunch. I went here with a group of colleagues for brunch. The place was very clean. The prices in the menu were somewhat steep for it being a simple brunch. However, it was very fresh tasting. All the ingredients used for my meal: nopales, black beans, and veggies tasted very fresh. I was very satisfied with my healthier version of the typical omelette. Their coffee was also flavorful, not weak or bland, (I drink my coffee black). It's nice that the Valley has more healthy restaurants and I have tried a few while on business trips but this was not my favorite. Though I wish I could speak other languages and tried my best, no one here spoke any English and try as I might to communicate as you would in a foreign country ; they were having none of it so pointing to a pic it was. Greens & Lemons is a gem I went to the one on Trenton Rd and I fell in love. The place is beautiful and very chic. I love the decor and the atmosphere. The staff is very attentive, caring and amicable. The food is delicious. I tried the Gyro, and my boyfriend tried the turkey sandwich and the bison burger. The gyro sandwich is rich in flavors and all the ingredients complement each other perfectly. The turkey sandwich was delicious because the bread was perfectly toasted and the avocado was the cherry on the top. The bison burger was juicy and decadent. I came here bc of the reviews. I'm in town on business and can honestly say the food was ok but service was bad. I stood in front of the cashier for 5 minutes as he counted checks without any recognition even though he definitely saw me waiting to place my order. I asked for my order of pico de Gallo salmon with Mayo on the side. Not only was the entire dish covered in Mayo, he charged me for an extra side order of sauce as well. I felt very unwelcome and even though I was sitting at a table, clearly intending to eat there, he packed it in a to go box and dropped it on my table as if it was trash. It was my first time visiting this location and we had a great experience. They have a huge breakfast selection with a mixture of vegan and regular options. We also tried the Iron Man smoothie and Leaner Juice which were both vary fresh and tasty. The interior of the restaurant is vary health themed. The asthenic is vary curated and adds to the over all environment. They have plenty of parking and plenty of seating room. They even sell different healthy snacks and products at the cashier. The service was great, they checked on us constantly and made sure we had everything we needed/wanted. I ordered the salmon, a pressed juice with every vegetable and fruit they had, and some vegan cookies they had on the side to go. He also explained it is a Mediterranean inspired restaurant so don't go there thinking you will find Shwarmas because they weren't on the menu :( The presentation for a to go plate was great! It also smelled amazing and tasted even better. I was in and out pretty quickly, only down side about it is that it is a bit pricey. I'm gonna give four stars for my first time eating there. I was in a huge rush and wanted something healthy but tasty. I was served quickly and waited no more than 10 minutes for the Middle Eastern Plate ($16.99) I don't usually go for exotic foods but I wasn't about to resort to a cheese burger or some other fat filled carb bomb. I saw a photo someone else posted (don't remember the name) of her husbands plate and thought "hey that looks good" so that's what I ordered. It was a serving of two meat empanadas, two kibbeh, 3 grape leave rolls, rice, tabbouleh salad pita and Greek yogurt. I was only familiar with meat empanadas but was not disappointed with the plate as a whole. The yogurt I did not care for, but my mom LOVED IT. Said it it reminded her of the jocoque yogurt she grew up eating. The leaves were the next thing I was wary about, but they were interesting. It tasted like a minty lettuce leave but was also filled with meat and some kind of grain. Last but not least there was the little salad which reminded me of ceviche but with no fish! So fresh and so good, I saved a little bit for later to eat with chips! Overall the plate was satisfying without feeling heavy, which I liked and was exactly what I was looking for today. :) Hope to be coming back soon to try other items! read more
