We had GreenLight movers move our furniture from our home to our garage for remodeling. They did a great job moving our heavy furniture out and back in. They took their time and made sure they padded all our furniture and wrapped it up nice and secure. We have a narrow hallway that they negotiated without any damage to walls or anything else. Both crews that moved us out and in were super nice and professional. Working with Robert Green was excellent. He is very friendly and very professional. Our realtor recommended Robert and I had already moved so I had a FaceTime call with Robert to ensure things would be packed the way I expected. He assured me and was I extremely disappointed with the outcome. First, every single box was mislabeled. Which tells me they were used boxes. Secondly, they packed food items with cleaning supplies in same box. sloppiest packing I ever experienced with using packing companies. I spoke to Robert regarding mislabeled boxes and paid for new boxes and got used ones and he said he would compensate but never did. Is very hard to organize boxes into rooms when you didn't know what was in each box. Have been unsuccessful in contacting Robert for months. I do not recommend this company. read more

Little to no communication, lack of effort on most of the movers parts. The owner sells you a big line and it sounds great, but the reality is seriously lacking, they damaged my property and my home and instead of doing the right thing, he ignored any and all attempts at contact. I absolutely WOULD NOT recommend this company. Robert was very kind up front and seemed accommodating. But then his movers arrived close to two hours AFTER the expected time - I heard nothing from them in the morning, except when I messaged Robert well after the expected time, he said they were "just getting supplies and would be on the way". When they came, I asked if they would still be able to finish in time for me to get to my closing appointment and they assured me that they would... I ended up having to push back closing and they still didn't finish. When I left for the appointment, they only had one thing left and when I returned, there was absolutely no progress - so not sure what they did while I was gone? They also did not follow instructions, resulting in me having to re-pack the truck since they moved items to another location that were supposed to be secured in the moving truck. Robert then waited one month after the move to contact me about payment, where he agreed that 7 hours taken was too long and billed me for 5 (which is longer than anyone ever quoted me for, including his staff on the day of), despite also dismissing raised concerns that it seemed his workers / his company were intentionally taking far more time than needed to be able to raise the billing price. He also claimed that I needed to pay for his staff to get from their origination location to my house to start the move - I wish my job paid for my time to get to work each day... Update: Robert called me after reading this review and agreed to remove the hour charged for "travel" from their office to my house. He first claimed that most companies charge for that (which I've never experienced in my MANY moves) and swore he told me about it when he did not. While I would never do business with them again, I do appreciate him trying to make things a little better. read more

As per Bonnie K of the Woodlands on here 10/15/23 review, I would not recommend this company. Robert was very attentive during the onsite estimate of the work and made big promises that everything would be handled. We were in a time constraint as we had to be out of the house in two weeks. He promised that he could meet the deadline. Yet a week went by with no contact from Robert. He failed to answer phone calls, text messages and emails. Plus he never furnished a contract to sign after he took a 10% deposit for the cost. After a week I sent him a message at 9 AM stating that without a contract by noon I was calling a new moving company. No reply until 11:52 and the supplied contract was not in agreement with his original estimate. So I told him the deal was canceled and to refund my $515 deposit. No response after that so I disputed the charge with Discover and after several attempts on their part to contact him they gave up and but refunded my deposit. So in no way would I recommend Robert as a matter of fact he doesn't even deserve the one star I had to give him to start this complaint. I am just glad that I moved on from him and got another company to do the move. By the way, I highly recommend "A BETTER TRIPP MOVING AND STORAGE". read more

Stay far away from Greenlight movers. I had four storage units and told Robert the owner I needed all four moved at the same time. But that 3 were critical. His bid was so low it was ridiculous so I told him to bring his bid up to what I considered a reasonable bid and he did. then he asked me for photos of all four units and I gave him photos of all four units. He raised his bid again. I was OK with that because we were moving four units, when the moving trucks arrived there were two trucks we were only able to load three of the units and during this process I kept asking him for liability and insurance paperwork and a third truck. Robert is HORRIBLE about answering his phone and doesn't return phone calls. both trucks were fully loaded. I called him and I asked him to email over the liability in the insurance again multiple times and he said well it's gonna take me two days to get that and I said that's not true your company can email it to you right now. Well I never got it. The trucks were loaded. We drove to the house and unloaded and I prayed to God nothing would happen which it didn't and he never did send the liability or the insurance but he did offer to send me an expired one. My impression is that Robert doesn't have liability rating insurance on his moves. I also noticed that one of his trucks had almost bald tires, the movers themselves were amazing and it turns out he contracted these other people to do my move so Robert is basically the middleman. At the end of the move Robert called me and said that my fourth unit was going to cost me $3400 to move up. I told him no then he said my fourth unit would cost me 1600 because he was gonna do me a deal I said no, so my fourth unit is still sitting in a storage unit because Robert is dishonest, and in my opinion a thief . Our deal was for four units and he moved three . So stay away from Robert and his Greenlight moving company. read more

Robert is the owner of this company, he drives a sparkling brand new Infinity, which I'm happy he's that loaded, but disappointed he takes this money from clients by WAYYYY overcharging hourly services provided by his men, who We're so slow their efforts match their molasses like disposition. He was hired to move my parents house in Sugar Land Texas and move them to Spring. They moved a 3 bedroom 2.5 bath house, which movinglabor.com (along with recent moves) showed it should've take his employees 4-5 hours to load, 1 hour to drive then 3 hours max to unload. This long talking individual, who refused to show up at the request of the homeowners to supervisor and manage him team who took OVER 9.5 Hours to LOAD the truck to, just to START the move, who waited 2.5 hours to call us after we told him 3 times of the issue, who didn't even bother to return our call until his guys were done burning through our "moving hours". I watched his employee with the glasses take over 45 minutes to wrap and pack 6 dining room chairs, and his other guy take over 40 minutes to wrap and move the downstairs couch. We NEVER saw the other two employees move or touch anything, although we continued to check upstairs to see the progress... there WAS NONE! Worst part is after this was all done after what he charged (at 13.5 hours) he wanted to talk endlessly about it. He called at all hours, even after I told him my dad was out of town, and my mom was asleep (I answered her phone and line to field these calls). The worst part is he cried about being equally heard, but every time he started talking he never said anything, just like when he called and wanted to talk about the "bill" which he didn't have for 48 hours after the move. I asked repeatedly for my mother that he just send the bill for review, but he kept calling and wanting to talk, about nothing. This dude is a SLUG. Do NOT USE HIM. I wish my mom had asked me to help find a good mover or used her precious mover. Robert is a long talking blow hard that isn't worth a consideration for your moving company. Do yourself a favor, find someone that's worth their salt and your time. read more

Looking for the best and definitely found the best. Robert reached out to me as soon as I submitted my quote. Talk about fast!!! He was so nice & made sure I was in good hands. They definitely care. I needed this move to be done the next day and I was immediately scheduled. They arrived hours before the ETA given to me so everything got done in no time. Which is exactly what I wanted. They covered the door frames to protect everything in the house. The guy's Jermaine & AJ were just awesome, super cool dudes. GreenLight provided the best move I have ever had. The company is geared to outstanding customer service. Robert (the owner) and all his staff are experienced, efficient, enthusiastic, well-educated, eloquent, sensitive, charismatic, hard-working, creative, and absolutely committed that you have a good experience every step of the way. They packed and unpacked my furnishings and belongings and transported them with the utmost care. They also have a good eye and saw places where my furniture and pictures would fit better than I had thought,, but they never made their suggestions in a disrespectful way. They all work together as a well-oiled team. Don't overlook GreenLight Movers when you are looking for a company to help transport all that you own to a new place to live.
