Lazy and very unprofessional, would not recommend to anybody, waste of time and money.

If I could give ZERO starts I definitely would but I did a move with the owner of the company which is Marcus Kelley Sr. n during the move one of my TVs was broke while n his care.. I asked him reimburse me for the tv but he's stating that "He don't know if the tv was broke before" like lets me real it's no way I'm bout to have a tv wrapped (As you can the tv is laying flat wrapped n a cover) but when he loaded on his trailer he had it facing the wall with NO PROTECTION he say he had covers on it but you can't see anything.. I've reached out to serval other moving companies to get their take on it.. & They all stated that due to him having that tv like that most definitely did the damage to the tv. . I paid him $1500 for the move yall this man really said I low balled him when he's the one that gave me the price then turnt around m said he really didn't want to do the job k.. I'm post the full conversation.. Like I'm n the process of disputing the FULL $1500 since he don't wanna reimburse me $300 for my tv .. I also left a review on his business page on Facebook but he blocked me but before he blocked me he also posted my address. i will post pictures of our conversation for proof.. if you look on Facebook he's n other groups w bad reviews he's also been kicked out of serval groups due to how he handles business.. read more

Tier One Moving responded very quickly to my questions and provided a quote on the piano from a picture, which was helpful. The 3 person crew were very friendly and wrapped my furniture very thoroughly for protection. They arrived on time. My only comment is that when figuring out the price for the piano before booking, I didn't state (and they didn't ask) that it would be moved from a first floor to a second floor. Moving to a second floor is understandable but it didn't occur to me then; my recommendation would be to ensure to state that up front so the purchaser knows all the potential costs at the time of booking. Overall I had a great experience with Tier 1 Movers! The 2-man moving crew quickly moved all my items from a one bedroom to another one bedroom apartment on the third floor. I had to call Tier One to let them know that I had been contacted by the driver. Lynnette is the only bright spot in this story, but she can only help so much. SO...HHGs are left at our origination location with no plan in sight. I have to call Tier One everyday for the plan. Turns out they are so concerned that they are emailing the driving company. I finally tell them they need to call. Over two weeks later is the planned pick-up, which will take another 1.5 weeks because of Thanksgiving. Tier One still continued to get the delivery date wrong right up until the day which was over seven days past the promised delivery date. In the meantime I had to call Tier One to find out the process for the inconvenience fee. What a joke that is. Non-specific information and verbal authorizations to rent a refrigerator, and then "Delay Claims" no name, just Delay Claims, dithers about the inconvenience they caused. Bottom line--they should not be doing PCS moves on the taxpayer dime. They do not care about your HHG, they do not care about your inconvenience, and except for Lynnette literally no one you talk too knows what is going on. They just read from a script. Given the stress of moving as often as military folks do, this company does not deserve the contracts the military provides. Tell your TSP NO! Or plan to do the heavy lifting that the contract is paying Tier One to do. When you have to assess the inconvenience fee, make sure you understand two things: they will not reimburse you for groceries, and they will only reimburse you for items rented or purchased beyond the member's daily per diem and incidentals. You must exceed that amount to get anything else; so, eat out every meal and save the receipts. The devil is in the details, and this company does not care one little bit about your inconvenience. They care about their government contract, not your satisfaction--and there is a difference. read more

No show. No refund. Trusted the reviews. Paid a $35 booking fee. Was told we were scheduled for early Sunday morning ,jan27th, to move a bed from my sons apt downtown to cypress. We were there at 6am. When I checked with owner later Sunday morning was told 11-12. Nothing... several calls with no answer until 2pm. Was then told a driver was on the way so expect 45min-hour. At 3:30 nothing and no phone call. Multiple outgoing phone calls with no answer until 4:00. Finally an answer that said they should've been there he would call right back. Told him we couldn't stay any longer. Never a call back! Left at 4:30 to come back to cypress. Then he called at 5:00pm to say they were there! We had already been strung along since 6am. 10 hours of waiting! Owner apologized and promised a refund of booking fee but nothing once again!! Did not want to post a bad review but when the refund never came( it's been a week) I realized the management was poor and my business didn't matter. read more
