BEWARE .....You may receive the wrong item that is not yours...and no refund. I had my King comforter cleaned. Unfortunately, I did not open to check that I did receive my own comforter. The tag was labeled with the description of my comforter, BUT it was a pillow topper. I called and the manager and he said as it had been over a year, he would not refund the loss of my King comforter even though they gave me someone elses . Only, would they refund the 86. dollars for the cleaning....IF I would return the pillow topper....! so basically I would end up with no comforter or pillow topper at all!!!. I told them absolutely not!...so I only received my 86 dollars and a pillow topper which I dont even want!!! I would suggest that you go to another cleaner who has scruples. read more

I will never be a customer of this business again. I foolishly gave them some napkins and bedsheets on a Friday and they promised to return by delivery on Tuesday. So Tuesday morning I got up early to wait for my delivery. After 8.5 hours of waiting I called them and they said no delivery was coming because the napkins needed to be redone. Still I would not be so upset if they had bothered to tell me there would be no delivery before I called them. But I suppose that is too much to ask of these people. read more

Do not use!! Like you, I read the reviews for Greene's Cleaners when I first moved here and at that time the reviews were very good. I took my designer jet black denim jacket and asked to have it dry cleaned (which I paid for). It came back obviously washed and all the color was out of it. Now a wrinkled washed out mess. Greene's took it back to see what they could do. After about a month or so and 8 - 10 phone calls and emails I finally got ahold of someone who said they were going to "acid wash" it and everything would be fine. A week or so later I finally got it back and it really didn't look any better. I thought it needed to be re-dyed but Greene's said they didn't do that. So I found a place online, out of state, who specializes in re-dye black. After shipping both ways ($200), and their dying services (another $200), I sent Greene's the receipts totaling ~$400) and gave them the opportunity to do the right thing. I know you're never gonna believe this, but after several efforts, can you imagine, I never heard back from them?! They wouldn't even offer to pay for part of the re-dye service. Crickets. Not only did they charge me for dry cleaning and washed my jacket (I actually could have done that at home myself if that's what I wanted) they were not interested in making it right after I gave them the opportunity to do so. My mistake, I relied on the advertisement of "premium dry cleaning service" instead of reading customer reviews first! Same experience as many - waited 2 weeks - then I went to ask for my things. Told some were done, some were at the 'bottom of the pile'. Told that they would put a rush on my 2 week old order to 'make up' for the delay. That's the specifics but here's the general: Highly interactive text-active dry clean business that is lacking in the actual human engagement factor. Three encounters with various staff over 3 visits - no 'owner' or adult over 30 present. Staff consistently young 20's or less and remarkably unfriendly. Prices high. Thought I was paying for premium service but it looks to me like I'm paying a premium for lots of text communications, impersonal onsite communications, and late deliveries. Will continue looking for a 'premium dry clean service' elsewhere. read more

If I could give no stars I would. I took my wedding dresses to get cleaned here and I say dresses because I had 2. I dropped them off, no problem, o was told they would be ready in two weeks. After the two weeks, I went in to pick up my dresses and was told they still weren't ready. So I asked if they could call when they were so I don't make the unnecessary trip. I finally get the call that they are ready about two weeks later ( 4 weeks total). I arrive to pick up and there is only one dress. I let them know there are two wedding dresses and show my receipt. They say they don't have any other wedding dress and only one was dropped off (basically calling me a liar) when the receipt clearly states 2 pieces. After being there for over 30 minutes they finally figure out the other dress is still being cleaned at an offsite location and wasn't ready yet. I pay for the two dresses and confirm pick up for the second dress. Finally, I go to pick up my second dress and I thought that was the end of that. I'm reviewing my bank statement and notice a charge I did not approve. Greenes cleaners, charged my credit card WITHOUT my authorization!! I went in to see why my credit card was charged again without my authorization, there answer being because my dresses were very delicate and hard to clean. I have never experienced such unprofessional behavior from any business. I will not be returning after spending over $500!!! read more

Avoid! I dropped off a scarf and table runner. Dropped them off on a Monday morning and they were promised by Thursday evening. I went to pick up my items and my runner wasn't ready. Update: I am appreciative that I was contacted by the CEO of the company, Alonso, who wanted to get further details about my experience at Green's and resolve any issue I might have experienced. After explaining my experience he was genuinely apologetic and took the time to mend the issue. Old: I took my bridesmaid dress to get cleaned & pressed and it ended in a ruined dress which they tried to cover up! I was told my dress would be ready on a Thursday after 5, after 2 trips to the cleaners with no dress and no explanation on a Saturday I was told I needed to pick up my ruined dress at the Silverado location. Not only was my dress completely ruined, the company tried to hide the dress and all I got was an "I'm sorry there is nothing we can do", and they did not even offer to pay for it read more

Disappointed in the customer service my boyfriend took two coats and five pairs of jeans. The jeans were nicely done however one of the second coats had leather accents on the pockets and on the back. They completely burned them off and tired to cover it up returning the jacket inside out. I have contacted the location several times and every time they say they will notify the manager. It has been two going on three weeks multiple messages left and I have yet to hear anything from anyone here! I am so sorry that I did not check Yelp first!!! I stayed at Churchill Manor for my wedding and asked the innkeeper for a recommendation on who could take out a few creases in my wedding dress train. She suggested Greene's. I called, spoke to Colleen, who couldn't have been nicer and arranged a pick up/drop off. I get a call a few hours later and I'm told I am being charged $200 to steam the train of my dress!! I was shocked! The rest of the dress is ruched so they didn't touch it. $200 to steam a train!! I even had to call American Express and explain the charge wasn't fraudulent, just a rip off!!!! When I asked the innkeeper at Churchill Manor about the price, she suggested I call to check the charge was correct. I spoke to Colleen again who assured me that Lauren would call me back that day but still hasn't a week later. Poor customer service and a bad reflection on the inn who recommended them. I just dropped off my dress to be cleaned, pressed and preserved and the total cost is $160. The dry cleaner here (right outside NYC) told me they took advantage because I was out of town and it was a wedding dress. read more

Worst customer service....i get to the cleaners and no one comes to front desk when i got there. I had to scream Hello is anyone their? I waited 5 minutes to someone to help me. So anyways i left my bag last week which they told me it was going to be ready on Tuesday. Then i get a phone call 2 days later that it was going to be ready Friday the 22nd i even called in the afternoon to verify. They said yes will be ready today after 5pm i said okay so i came at 6pm after work. I get here and they said it won't be ready until the 27th. Why didn't they called me or let me know when I called. Poor communication it's the first and last time i come here. So i made them go get my bag from the other location i waited 1hour to get my bag but when i received my bag it was ripped really!!! I just picked up 5 pairs of designer jeans that I had dry cleaned here . They did an awesome job . The pants were finished on time as promised . I had a stitch mended on 1 pair and the alterations lady did such a good job that you can't even tell there was a repair completed . The pricing is affordable and comparable to any other cleaner in Napa Valley . The drive thru service is a huge convenience for me . I have 4 boys and not having to unload the kids out of the minivan to drop off or pick up is great . They also pick up and deliver to your home . Great service for busy mom's . read more

My roommate dropped off 1 curtain the day after Thanksgiving to be cleaned for Xmas. Not only was it not ready until 1/5/2010; they charged her almost $300.00 to clean about 5 yards of fabric that they somehow burned the back part. And they offered her no apology or explanation for taking more than 4 weeks to clean. I took some stuff there last year; a pair of pants and a sweater and was charged over 20.00. My wife and I just moved up to Napa from the Bay Area - we get a lot of clothes cleaned, I had read many great reviews of Greene's so I thought I would give them a try. I had a large order because we'd been busy with our move. I dropped off 22 pieces - 12 of them were shirts to be laundered. The drive through was great, deliver services sounded good. I was pretty happy until I went to pick up my dry cleaning and the bill was $ 182! for 22 pieces! They charged over $ 20 dollars each to dry clean dresses (cotton not silk). I was shocked! I would have paid a third of that amount in the Bay Area. I will definitely be trying all my other options in Napa, I simply can't afford to pay that much. read more

I work for a company in Napa ( I won't say where) that has been working with Greene's Cleaners for a few years now. The only reason we work with this company is because of the convienience of having them pick-up every week day but i would NEVER recommend them to anyone. They have lost MULTIPLE shirts and their prices on the slip are NEVER accurate to what they charge. They are suppose to pick up and drop off same day but whenever employees leave their uniforms for dry cleaning, sometimes we don't see them back for a week when we need them the next day. I've used Greene Cleaners three times and each time they've messed something up on my order. Whether it was double creasing my slacks or completely destroying the way my jackets' lapel lays, they just can't seem to get it right. On top of that when they get it wrong they don't seem to care to offer any solution other than a redo... Not even really a sincere apology. On the second time I had a problem I even sent a note in via their website reporting the issue and nobody ever responded. We LOVE Greene's cleaners! We discovered their weekly pick up and drop off service for shirts (and other pieces occasionally), following the "drive in and drop off" days. We love having their weekly service with a smile:)!! They even send helpful reminders to put the Greene's bag out the night before! Ok I'll admit I am one of "those" people who forget to pick up my dry cleaning...and I'll get the call that my order has been waiting for me for 6 months. We've used Green's for many years and they have always come thru for us whether it be for my hubby's everyday work shirts or our opera wear. They come thru on rush items and have cleaned everything for us from ties and bed spreads and they are consistent every time. We've known Brian for years and he'll deliver our cleaning to us if we can't get to the store. Sometimes blown away at the bill but they are worth it. read more

The worst Shirt Laundry I have ever experienced. I took a new white Gucci shirt on a biz trip ... so was necessary to wear it twice. The neck got dirty, but Greene's staff said they always "treat" the necks. Got it home and it looked like it was just pressed. I took it back and asked them to treat the neck this time, their snippy response was that they "always treat the necks". Got it back and it was STILL filthy. I'm not sure what all the complaining is about? Ever heard the phrase, "you get what you pay for"? Greene's is easily the best dry cleaners in town. Their stores are clean, their staff is kind, the hours work for everyone (not to mention the multiple locations to make it easy) and their services are exceptional. Furthermore, if they can't get out a stain without possibly harming your clothing, they leave a note on the garment and you can let them know if you would like them to try again. If you want to pay less and risk ruining your clothes, I wouldn't suggest Greene's. If you want to know your things are being well taken care of...USE THEM! read more
