I also reported them to BBB and they didnt respond to them either. They gave me a 300 dollar bill for warranty work on a fireplace i never got to use and never used. The fireplace was inoperable for the entire time I have had it. I have sent numerous emails and left numerous voicemails and nobody will respond. At this point I don't know what to do. I have asked them numerous times to come pick up their tank and close my account but they refuse to respond.

I am not going to go through the nightmare of wading through the automated phones at Frigidaire and Lowe's for relief. Bit the bullet and contacted McLaughlin's (spoke to an actual human) and PDQ Bill showed up and got my stove properly converted. From John in sales, Tara answering the phone and Keith scheduling service, my experience with McLaughlin has been exceptional.

I actually wanted to let into my house, but I did. After an hour, could not fix it and decided that I needed a replacement valve. I was fairly certain that valve was not the problem not that I am an expert, so I called and talked to the management at his company. McLaughlins explain to them that I did not believe they should purchase a new valve and that I did not believe it would fix it. They told me that this person knew what they were doing and that if a new valve is what he said it needed and that's what they would do so they came back again spent another hour putting in a new valve, which did not fix anything and they love saying they need to call the vendor for more advice. They tried to come back a third time without making an appointment just knocked on my door while I was working one day expecting me to let them come in, but at this point we are now weeks into the problem and I did not believe that they could actually fix it anymore so I called a company in Frederick Maryland, who came out and fixed it on the first visit and I have a bill proving that it was the control unit that need to be replaced not the valve. About six months after this occurrence.Mclaughlins started sending me past due bills for the work that they did not complete. I called and explained to the manager what happened which he did not seem to remember only that he had fired this person. And he continued to send me bills. I call back and warn them that I would be contacting the state and the Better Business Bureau if they did not stop harassing me about this bill yet I still am receiving another bill today. These people are thieves and charlatans and do not know how to fix gas fireplace

I actually received the delivery on Wednesday around 5:30am, waking my family and pets. To me delivery in the hours of darkness and before the family is awake is not acceptable and not safe. Limited visibility conditions during darkness can be avoided especially during non emergency and should be avoided. I tried to contact the manager and left a message to return my call but never heard back. I guess they weren't too concerned about customer feedback. I do not recommend this company for residential service.

Here is a copy of a complaint I filed with the BB this morning. These people are unscrupulous and will not take responsibility. Do not buy Propane or anything else from them. "On or about 2/6/17 I received a propane delivery from Heller's Gas. (My wife has the bill at home so I don't have the exact date but I can provide that if needed) 2 days later I noticed that there was a large davit in my driveway where a vehicle had bottomed out. There were only 2 vehicles that had visited us in those days and 1 was FedEx and the other was Heller's Gas. I called both and asked if they could talk to their drivers and get back to me. FedEx opened an internal investigation and it was proven that they had a regular van that came to our house and there would have been no reason for the van to need to use my turn around (paved hill) and additionally, regular cars or vans will not bottom out in my turn around. I called Troy of Heller's Gas and he told me that he would talk to the driver and ask her if she recalled bottoming out in my driveway. Based on the damage, it would be impossible for someone to not hear the impact/scraping. I waited and waited and waited. I texted pictures to Troy and left him voice messages that went ignored.Eventually he referred me to Jason the manager. Jason also ignored and avoided my phone calls and eventually told me that he was waiting to hear back from his boss as to what they were going to do. All I ever wanted was for them to talk to the driver and ask her is she remembered bottoming out in my driveway. Instead, they took a vow of silence which to me felt like an admission of guilt. It has been over 7 weeks since I first called. I called and left a message last week and told them that I would be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau by the end of this week if I did not get a response. They do not care about their customers and seem to take the route of ignore and hope the customer gives up. This is unacceptable and the only resolution I will accept at this point is a complete repair of the damage. I appreciate that the BBB exists otherwise people like this would continue to treat their customers like garbage and get away with it.

I immediately called to explain that this was not what I wanted. Was told this would be cancelled and the new plan which included my furnace and A/C would be set up. I'm still being billed for the original plan which I cancelled more than two months ago. Trying to talk to these reps is next to impossible. They said that cancellation must be done within 60 days. I cancelled after 3 weeks. All I have been told is that I have to pay this invoice. How many more people are being duped by this unfair business practice? More people should speak up and a letter to the Attorney General for the State of Pennsylvania seems to be in order.
